Description | A U.S. Navy Grumman Grumman F-14A-85-GR Tomcat (BuNo 159595) from fighter squadron VF-143 Pukin' Dogs in flight on 20 April 1987, armed with three AIM-7 Sparrow and four AIM-9L Sidewinder air-to-air missiles. VF-143 was assigned to Carrier Air Wing 7 (CVW-7) aboard the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN-69). This aircraft was later converted to an F-14D and finally retired to the AMARC as 1K0138 on 18 June 2003. |
