Description

The AJS37 Viggen is a rank Swedish strike aircraft with a battle rating of (AB), (RB), and (SB). It was introduced in Update "La Royale".

Pros and cons

Pros:

• High top speed at sea level
• Responsive flight controls with great turning rate
• Excellent loadout options of "air to air" and "air to ground" armament, including unguided and guided weaponry
• Can be equipped with a drop tank
• Reverse Thrust for fast breaking after touching down
• Access to strong RB74 and RB24J IR missiles

Cons:

• Substandard energy retention during turns, made worse by the mediocre acceleration at low speeds
• Afterburner consumes a lot of fuel
• Mediocre airbrakes
• No internal mounted cannon, only external 30mm cannons without tracers
• Flaps only useful during landings
