Survivability and armour

Examine the survivability of the aircraft. Note how vulnerable the structure is and how secure the pilot is, whether the fuel tanks are armoured, etc. Describe the armour, if there is any, and also mention the vulnerability of other critical aircraft systems.

Modifications and economy

Armaments

Offensive armament

The Sakeen is armed with:

  • A choice between two presets:
    • 2 x 13 mm MG 131 machine guns, nose-mounted (250 rpg = 500 total) + 2 x 7.92 mm MG 17 machine guns, wing-mounted (300 rpg = 600 total)
    • 2 x 13 mm MG 131 machine guns, nose-mounted (250 rpg = 500 total) + 2 x 20 mm MG 151 cannons, wing-mounted (135 rpg = 270 total)

Suspended armament

The Sakeen can be outfitted with the following ordnance:

  • Without load
  • 4 x 70 kg SD70 bombs (280 kg total)
  • 4 x 50 kg SD50 bombs (200 kg total)
  • 4 x 50 kg SC50JA bombs (200 kg total)

Usage in battles

the Avia S-199 is a downgraded BF-109G but with a weaker engine

the aircraft flight perfomance is not the greatest at all so make sure you follow these tactics

rule no.1: despite weak engine power on the aircraft it's recommended to gain some speed first followed by a shallow gradual climb

rule no.2: never attempt to turn fight with other turn fighters since they can get on your 6 if committed

rule no.3 : if failed or successfully killed an enemy do a shallow climb once again after dive and repeat

the Avia S-199 as we know that it lacks and engine power which mean that you can bleed it's speed very easily either any tactic you prefer

the main strength of the avia S-199 is the firepower of her

try to not get in front of it's guns

Pros and cons

in summary here is the pros and cons of the aircraft

  • Pros:
  • great firepower
  • good survivability
  • good turn rate ( at high speed only)
  • Cons:
  • slow climb rate
  • engine easily overheat
  • poor energy retention

History

Describe the history of the creation and combat usage of the aircraft in more detail than in the introduction. If the historical reference turns out to be too long, take it to a separate article, taking a link to the article about the vehicle and adding a block "/History" (example: https://wiki.warthunder.com/(Vehicle-name)/History) and add a link to it here using the main template. Be sure to reference text and sources by using <ref></ref>, as well as adding them at the end of the article with <references />. This section may also include the vehicle's dev blog entry (if applicable) and the in-game encyclopedia description (under === In-game description ===, also if applicable).

Media

Excellent additions to the article would be video guides, screenshots from the game, and photos.
