Description
The Spitfire Mk IXc is a rank IV Israeli fighter with a battle rating of 4.3 (AB/RB) and 4.7 (SB).
Introduced in Update "Winged Lions" and having served in the Israeli Air Force from 1948 to the 1950, the Spitfire Mk IXc is an excellent dogfighter with its wing-mounted guns. It fits 2 x 20 mm Hispano cannons with 4 x 7.7 mm MGs that share similar muzzle velocity, making it easier to aim with tracer belts in the MGs and air or ground target belts in the Hispanos. This will help to save the small amount of shots of the cannons. Small bursts with the cannons are required in order to secure kills due to jamming and overheating without the upgrades installed.
Ground ordnance is lacking but rewarding once mastered, overall, pilots should use the Spitfire to attack light targets and provide air cover in battle.

Modifications and economy
Pilots should prioritize "Radiator", "Compressor" and engine power upgrades, but especially the Hispanos upgrades, because these will overheat and thus jam with ease until the 1942 upgrade is installed. It is still recommended to push for the 1943 upgrade.

The Spitfire Mk IXc (Israel) is armed with:
