Description
The Assault tank T26E5 is a rank American heavy tank with a battle rating of (AB), (RB), and (SB). It was introduced in Update "Ground Breaking".
General info
Survivability and armour
Frontal armour is quite strong, able to resist Panther's gun or even Tiger II's Kwk 43 gun if well-angled. On the other hand side armour can protect you to a certain degree when angled, closer toward the front side armor cannot protect you even from Weaker gun. and when un-angled any gun will punch right through your side armour. Cupola with it's 76.2mm can be penetrated and damage your gunner and commander by any APHE shell hitting there. But because of the small cupola size it's might be difficult to hit it in the first place.
Survivability is Average, you have 5 crew members like majority of the tank at your BR. But because of spacing a single large enough APHE shell such as IS-2 shell can one-shot all your crew members.

Usage in battles
Describe the tactics of playing in the vehicle, the features of using vehicles in the team and advice on tactics. Refrain from creating a "guide" - do not impose a single point of view but instead give the reader food for thought. Describe the most dangerous enemies and give recommendations on fighting them. If necessary, note the specifics of the game in different modes (AB, RB, SB).
Pros and cons
Summarise and briefly evaluate the vehicle in terms of its characteristics and combat effectiveness. Mark its pros and cons in a bulleted list. Try not to use more than 6 points for each of the characteristics. Avoid using categorical definitions such as "bad", "good" and the like - use substitutions with softer forms such as "inadequate" and "effective".
