WEP or War Emergency Power is a throttle setting in War Thunder which as the name suggests, should only be used in an emergency. WEP increases speed but it comes with some costs. Fuel consumption increases rapidly, luckily in Arcade battles WEP can not be activated for a long period of time. That is different in Realistic Battles though since you can activate WEP for as long as you want. WEP can be dangerous when activated for a long period of time because the engine is likely to overheat. Not all aircraft has WEP. In some cases you will see 110%. This may be because you do not have afterburners on your jet or if you have a aircraft without jet engines, your just not compatible with WEP. With default controls, WEP can be activated by holding down the "W" key (Accelerator) or scrolling up with your scroll wheel.
