The '''Turán''' series of tanks were Hungarian medium tanks based on the Czechoslovak Škoda T-21 medium tank prototype. After Hungarian forces not having the possibility to purschase Italian or German tanks, they had to look elsewhere to uparm their armoured forces. Starting in Sweden with the [[Toldi IIA|Toldi]] tank based on the L-60, their medium and main tank would be contracted for a license with the Czechoslovak Škoda company.
