 The P-40 is good at turn fights and low altitude fights only against fighters like Bf 109s it faces, e.g. the [[Bf 109 E-3|E-3]], [[Bf 109 G-2|G-2s]] and [[Bf 109 F-4|F-4s]]; these aircraft cannot really turn with it but are faster. The speed of this aircraft at 560 km/h makes it pretty fast for its rank and BR, however, this is only applicable to low altitudes. An important point is that the aircraft engine chokes above 5,000 m and becomes basically a sitting duck at this altitude.
