The 8 mm '''Kulspruta (Ksp) m/22''' machine gun was a licensed copy of the Browning 1919 machine gun which utilised the powerful 8 x 63 mm round as an upgrade from the weaker 6 mm rounds earlier used by the Swedish Air Force. This version the Ksp ''m/22-37 R'' differs from the other variants in that this one has the ammunition fed in from a sedlovém or saddle tray and was typically used in turrets or defensive positions in Swedish aircraft. All other characteristics of the gun are the same.
