+Jeanne d'Arc (named after [[wikipedia:Joan of Arc|Joan of Arc]]) was designed as a replacement of the aging [[wikipedia:French cruiser Jeanne d'Arc (1899)|1899 armored cruiser]] of the same name that served as the training ship for French navy since 1912.
