-The armour on the BTR-80A, just like it's contemporary IFVs and APCs, will die to even machine guns, using this thing as a flanker is vital to survival, ensuring you don't die to the likes of 50. cals, (You can die to these too), just like the LVT-A1 at 1.0, the BTR contains a large expanse of empty space inside the vehicle which may save your life when dealing with weak spalling APFSDS or APCR/APDS, , if you're definitely being blasted, pray that the shell spares the crew, for you have few of them.
