-The Pattern 1905 120 mm gun is another example of an Imperial Russian-era gun that was carried over into Soviet service. Originally developed by Vickers for export, the guns were purchased by the Imperial Russian Army for coastal defense and by the Imperial Russian Navy who used them on ships built in 1905 and 1913.
