{{Break}}
The '''{{Specs|name}}''' is a rank {{Specs|rank}} Italian motor torpedo boat {{Battle-rating}}. It was introduced in [[Update "Starfighters"]].

== General info ==
=== Survivability and armour ===
<!-- ''Talk about the vehicle's armour. Note the most well-defended and most vulnerable zones, e.g. the ammo magazine. Evaluate the composition of components and assemblies responsible for movement and manoeuvrability. Evaluate the survivability of the primary and secondary armaments separately. Don't forget to mention the size of the crew, which plays an important role in fleet mechanics. Save tips on preserving survivability for the "Usage in battles" section. If necessary, use a graphical template to show the most well-protected or most vulnerable points in the armour.'' -->
The MS-472 is entirely unarmoured apart from the 40mm of wood comprising the hull, making it fairly weak overall. It also has a relatively small crew count of 19 members, and this in tandem with the lack of armour will see this vessel knocked out fairly quickly if repeatedly hit. The vessel is also fairly long, making it quite easy to hit at ranges which also hurts its survivability. It's effectively vulnerable everywhere, so a less aggressive play-style will see it stay in the fight longer.

=== Mobility ===
<!-- ''Write about the ship's mobility. Evaluate its power and manoeuvrability, rudder rerouting speed, stopping speed at full tilt, with its maximum forward and reverse speed.'' -->
This vessel is fairly fast but not so much manoeuvrable, it can reach a decent speed in a straight line but due to the length of the craft it struggles to complete a turn swiftly. It's also fairly unresponsive with accelerating and decelerating, which makes backing out of a dangerous situation very difficult, the poor reactive mobility tied with the lack of armour protection means you need to be bit more careful with choosing engagements when using this craft, it may be fast in a straight line but as it has no passive protection it can't constantly use that mobility to reliable effect.

{{NavalMobility}}

== Armament ==
=== Primary armament ===
<!-- ''Provide information about the characteristics of the primary armament. Evaluate their efficacy in battle based on their reload speed, ballistics and the capacity of their shells. Add a link to the main article about the weapon: <code><nowiki>{{main|Weapon name (calibre)}}</nowiki></code>. Broadly describe the ammunition available for the primary armament, and provide recommendations on how to use it and which ammunition to choose.'' -->
{{main|Bofors L/60 Mark 3 (40 mm)}}
[[File:MS 472 2.jpg|thumb|652.991x652.991px]]
This vessel is equipped with a single 40mm Bofors cannon, functionally the same variant used on many British and American light craft. Despite its relatively slow fire rate it deals a great amount of damage, and is also fairly easy to aim at range, allowing this vessel a lot of versatility in where you choose to engage. However, there is a large dead-zone towards the rear of the craft where the 40mm cannot cover, and as it's lacking any secondary weapons it becomes very vulnerable from the rear. This also means the primary cannon is the only defence against aircraft as well, a single well placed shot from the cannon will usually cripple an enemy aircraft, but the slow fire rate and dead-zone can make a manoeuvring aircraft quite hard to hit. The cannon comes with three belts-

* '''Default'''- 1-1 Armour piecing and high explosive, a good versatile mix of rounds.

* '''HE'''- Majority high explosive belt, does the most structural damage to unarmoured vessels and aircraft.

* '''AP'''- Majority AP belt, weaker structural damage but able to penetrate armoured craft, damage internal modules and set off ammo racks.

Overall, the HE majority belt will do the most damage against most of the common craft you'll be encountering around the battle rating, but it's recommended to carry some AP belts to combat armoured craft, as these rounds will easily be able to get through most armour. They are also very capable of setting off ammo racks, an accurate burst into the ammo will commonly destroy most enemy vessels, so if you encounter a large enemy with a lot of crew, it's recommended to load the AP and aim for the ammo racks.

=== Torpedo armament ===
<!-- ''Torpedo launchers are standard equipment on many ships and boats. Torpedoes are a significant means of defeating an opponent. Evaluate the position of the torpedo launchers, discuss the ammunition available, firing specifics such as dead zones, features of the torpedoes themselves, etc. If there is no torpedo armament, remove this section.'' -->
{{main|Si 200 (450 mm)}}

The MS-472 carries two Si-200 torpedoes, which contain an explosive mass of 200kg, which isn't quite as powerful as torpedoes used by other nations, however they will easily be able to take down the light patrol craft commonly encountered around the battle rating. They travel fairly fast but have a somewhat limited range of only 3km, meaning they can't be safely used to combat Destroyers at significant ranges, they're perfectly adequate for close range engagements with lighter craft however.

=== Special armament ===
<!-- ''Depth charges, mines, rocket launchers and missiles are also effective in skilled hands and can take an off-guard opponent by surprise. Evaluate the ammunition of this type of armament and rate its performance in combat. If there are no special armaments, remove this section.'' -->
{{main|B TG 100 depth charge}}

The MS-472 can also carry eight BTG 100 Depth Charges, which can be used to destroy trailing enemy vessels. They have quite limited use overall however, and can rarely be used to good effect as engagements in which they have an actual use is quite rare. They can easily knock out larger vessels if you're able to sneak up on them, but this is a rather inconsistent tactic, they're the most useful when being tailed by an enemy vessel, especially as the the MS-472 has no weaponry facing rearwards. If an enemy is in close proximity to the rear of the craft these charges can be dropped to sink them, however it requires very precise timing and overall isn't hugely reliable as a defensive weapon.

== Usage in battles ==
<!-- ''Describe the technique of using this ship, the characteristics of her use in a team and tips on strategy. Abstain from writing an entire guide – don't try to provide a single point of view, but give the reader food for thought. Talk about the most dangerous opponents for this vehicle and provide recommendations on fighting them. If necessary, note the specifics of playing with this vehicle in various modes (AB, RB, SB).'' -->[[File:MS 472 1.jpg|thumb|701.998x701.998px|The MS-472 engaging an enemy from cover]]
The MS-472 is a fairly niche vessel but it does fill that niche quite well, the frontally mounted 40mm cannon will do great at dealing with the bulk of enemies around the battle rating, but the lack of almost any defensive attributes mean that playing it more defensively is required to keep it in the fight longer. Arguably the most important aspect to mastering this vessel is where to position it, it's important to find a spot that offers both an active sight-line that will let you engage enemies, while also offering substantial cover for the vessel itself. As it is very weak and long, a good option for positioning yourself would be to stick the front portion of the boat out of cover, while leaving the middle and rearward sections in cover, as there is no weaponry present on these sections of the boat there's no real need to have them out of cover; as all this does is give your enemies more of you to shoot at. To have total combat effectiveness only the front of the boat needs to be able to engage targets, so this style of positioning is key.

It's important to be careful when traversing the map and leaving cover, this vessel isn't very quick to engage reverse, so if you sail out of cover and into the path of multiple enemy boats you'll likely take critical damage. This boat is weak to practically all types of weaponry, so tanking shots isn't really a viable option in any situation. If you're approaching the end of a stretch of cover make sure to slow down before you leave it, this way you can scout the area ahead for enemies and work out the best move. The majority HE belt will be best for engaging most of the enemies you'll fight, as they're overall unarmoured and HE will do the most structural damage. If you encounter a Russian river boat or a large gunboat however it's recommended to switch to AP to take them out, large gunboats like the [[Syonan]], [[MPK pr. 122A|MPK]], and the British [[Isles class (T-285)|Isles]] and [[Flower class (K-218)|Flower]] class vessels are too large to safely take out quickly with just using the HE belt, but they do have large, weak ammo racks under the guns, and a good burst of AP rounds into these racks will generally blow these vessels up, this is a much faster way to engage and dispatch these large craft. Alternatively you could make use of the torpedoes against these vessels as they do have a high speed, making it hard for large ships to avoid them.

This boat leads itself to a much more defensive play-style, staying in cover and waiting for enemy vessels to come to you, this ship has no defensive fallbacks and can therefore only rely on the firepower, which can be best made use of when positioned partially in cover. The 40mm cannon is able to knock out targets at a few kilometres range quite easily due to the high velocity, meaning that it isn't necessary to get very close to enemies most of the time. In close quarters engagements this vessel does struggle due to the dead-zone, lack of reactive mobility and armour, so you'll want to avoid getting too close most of the time. All-in-all, try not to be too aggressive, and stay around some form of hard cover, and if you start to take fire simply back off, repair and reengage.
{{Break}}
The '''{{Specs|name}}''' is a rank {{Specs|rank}} Swedish SPAA {{Battle-rating}}. It was introduced in [[Update 1.97 "Viking Fury"]].

== General info ==
=== Survivability and armour ===
The Pvlvv fm/42 is a fairly weak vehicle in terms of survivability, it features no meaningful protection from any angle, with only 10mm of armour protecting the front of the hull and 16mm of effective armour protecting the gunner. This armour is superficial really, as even heavy machine guns will have no trouble getting through the armour of the vehicle, and seeing as it's only manned by two crew, a shot through the flat armour of the drivers port will easily knock the vehicle out of action. Additionally as it's open-topped it's very vulnerable from the air, the gun can't angle directly upwards, meaning the gunshield can't be used to protect against enemy aircraft. This vehicle may survive a poorly placed shot, but most of the time the armour is not in any way reliable.

=== Mobility ===
<!-- ''Write about the mobility of the ground vehicle. Estimate the specific power and manoeuvrability, as well as the maximum speed forwards and backwards.'' -->

{{tankMobility|abMinHp= 121|rbMinHp= 75}}

The mobility and speed of the {{PAGENAME}} is fairly effective, it won't outpace many enemy light vehicles around this battle rating but it is fast enough to get where it needs to be in the map without much trouble. Off-road it can cruise at a max of 54 / 38 km/h (AB/RB), making it one of the fastest Swedish ground vehicles at its rank. It can change direction and manoeuvre well enough, and has a reverse speed of -6 km/h, which isn't vastly impressive, but is enough to occasionally get you out of trouble. However, as the engine is fairly weak it will struggle to climb steep hills, so try to approach these obstacles at an angle to increase the friction on the tracks.

== Armaments ==
[[File:Pvlvv fm-42 Elevation.jpg|thumb|458x458px|The max elevation angle of the Pvlvv fm/42]]

=== Main armament ===
The Pvlvv fm/42 is equipped with the m/40B 20mm cannon, which sports effective performance against tanks and aircraft if the rounds hit, and especially regarding aircraft- that's not an easy task. The cannon can only elevate to 45 degrees, which commonly isn't enough to get an attack angle on most aircraft as they will be flying too high up, making this quite a tedious anti-air vehicle to use in its intended role. It comes with three belts-

* Default - A 1 to 1 mix of HE and AP rounds, an effective, versatile belt.
* slsgr m/42 - A pure HE belt, Ineffective against ground vehicles but adequate for aircraft.
* slpgr m/42 - A pure AP belt- Very effective against ground vehicles while still being able to damage aircraft.

A further drawback of this vehicle's armament is the total ammo count at only 108 rounds with the possibility of taking 3 belts, this hugely limits its performance especially against aircraft as acquiring the lead will usually take a fair few shots, so by the time you've landed a critical shot most of your ammo will likely be gone. For this reason its not recommended to take a magazine of the full HE belt, as this will take up a third of your total potential ammo, meaning a third of your shots will have no effect against enemy ground targets, and given that attacking ground vehicles is a more adept method of play for this vehicle you're going to want to maximise its anti-tank ability, the AP belt can cut through a max of 42mm of flat armour, so at close range you'll have no trouble knocking out the majority of enemy vehicles.

Once unlocked it's recommended to take either three belts of AP rounds, or two belts of AP rounds with one Default belt for engaging aircraft, as the belt is still effective against both types of targets. You can switch between this belt easily as well as the reload for changing belts is only 1.3 seconds.

== Usage in battles ==
[[File:Fm42 3.jpg|thumb|742x742px|The Pvlvv fm/42 engaging a BT-7]]
Despite being classed as an SPAA vehicle, it truly excels at fighting ground vehicles. The lack of elevation for the cannon makes engaging aircraft tricky and sometimes impossible if the map is quite flat, as to engage aircraft this vehicle needs to be positioned on high ground or at an angle on the terrain. In general its not recommended to attempt to engage aircraft unless you're very confident you can take them out in one burst, as if an aircraft enemy notices you, they'll also likely know you can't elevate your gun very high, so they will simply dive right down on top of you to strafe out the crew, which is a fairly easy task as from the top the crew have no protection.

As this vehicle has very little ammunition engaging ground vehicles allows you to potentially maximise your shots on target, engaging aircraft usually results in lots of missed shots, which largely isn't too much of a problem generally for SPAA as they're usually equipped with lots of ammunition, but as this vehicle isn't all of your shots need to count, and as leading your shots on ground targets is much more consistent that is the recommended way to play.

At close range the AP belt will be able to deal with most enemy vehicles easily, though it will struggle with some french vehicles such as the B1 Bis, S.35, and even some of the reserve vehicles. It's important to know your enemy and only engage if you're certain you can cause critical damage you don't want to waste shots or waste your life, so learning the general armour layout of your enemies is an important factor here.

Aim to play around close range sight-lines if possible, in these locations your shots will be easier to aim and your rounds will have more penetration which is important to consider as their penetration performance drops off considerably at distances, at 500m the shots can only cut through 30mm of flat armour which isn't enough to deal with most enemies quickly if at all.

Luckily as this vehicle is quite small it's fairly easy to slip around the map unnoticed, and allows you to be able to hide in nooks and corners to ambush your enemies, waiting in ambush at close range; around a cap or watching a corner is the safes, most consistent way to play. Although if you're confident you can simply drive around in a manner similar to that of a conventional tank, due to the autocannon you can spray enemies down at close range without necessarily aiming, as it's quite likely you'll disable them before the can fire back at you, playing this way is certainly possible but due to how weak this vehicle is it's only recommend if you're very confident and have the vehicle fully upgraded. Do also be mindful of playing around very combat heavy areas, as these locations are commonly rife with artillery fire which this vehicle is hugely weak to, so aim to engage at close range still, but try to avoid the bulk of combat, utilise side roads and pathways out of the way to creep up to enemies on their sides. Additionally, if possible try to play close to friendly cap points, as you can use them to replenish your ammo supply which will be vital in long matches.
{{Break}}
The '''{{Specs|name}}''' is a rank {{Specs|rank}} Swedish tank destroyer {{Battle-rating}}. It was introduced in [[Update 1.97 "Viking Fury"]].

== General info ==
=== Survivability and armour ===
The fm/43-44 is a deceptively survivable vehicle from the front, open topped high-calibre tank destroyers and SPGs are seldom very well armoured, but this example is the exception, with 50mm of armour covering the upper and and lower plate as well as the turret face, with the tapering sides being 30mm. The only frontal weak point of this vehicle is the shield directly protecting the breech, which is only 15mm.

It's also manned by 5 crew members, two in the hull and three in the back, which really helps its survivability. Most of the cannons you'll be encountering around this battle rating are quite low calibre, meaning it will take a fair few rounds penetrating this vehicle to knock out all the crew. Additionally, it's nearly impossible to one-shot this vehicle without detonating the ammo, as the crew in the front and back are completely separate from each other, so a shot entering one compartment won't cause any damage to the other, so after taking a shot you'll still either be able to fire the gun, or drive away, which is a huge advantage. A drawback of this vehicle though is in regards to its protection from the air, the crew operating the cannon have no armour protecting them from incoming air strafing, so even aircraft with weak machine guns can slowly chip away at this vehicle, additionally its also very vulnerable to artillery.

=== Mobility ===
The mobility of this vehicle as well is deceptively effective. It can reach a max speed off-road of 42 km/h in RB modes, and 46 km/h in AB modes. It wont outpace many light vehicles, but it certainly isn't slow, and can easily cruise faster than most contemporary tank destroyers and medium tanks. Once upgraded, its hull traverse as well is effective, it can turn from stationary to re-position the gun and change direction easily, which is important for a turretless vehicle like this one. Its reverse speed is about average at 5 km/h, which will be enough to back out of sight into cover, but it wont save you if you're out in the open, so the lack of a fast reverse gear should play into where you choose to position.

== Armaments ==
=== Main armament ===
This vehicle is equipped with a 150mm recoiless rifle with a small ammo pool of only 10 rounds. It's only equipped with a single ammo type, a standard HE round which sports huge damage potential if it connects with an enemy vehicle, in most engagements with conventional tanks you will only need to connect the round to the vehicle to knock them out in a single shot, which eliminates the tedium spent aiming for particular weak points, which isn't very easy for this vehicle as the muzzle velocity is quite slow at only 285 m/s, meaning that ranging in the gun can be quite tricky. Another slight drawback is the gun depression, at only -4°, this does somewhat limit the locations you can play effectively, as this vehicle can't use many hills or ridge lines to shoot over.

As well as this, the reload is fairly long at 19.5 seconds stock, so if you miss a shot this vehicle will be quite vulnerable, especially considering that the average reload of small calibre guns around this battle rating is around 4 seconds, so an enemy could potentially fire on you 5 times before you reload.

Because of this, its recommended that you use the rangefinder when engaging enemies that aren't aware of you, this way you can almost guarantee the round connects, although it's not wise to spend the time rangefinding if an enemy is aware of you, as in the time you spend sitting and waiting for the range to come in, your enemy will likely be firing at you and knocking out your crew. Ultimately this round wont have any trouble knocking out the vast majority of vehicles you can meet around the battle rating, the only challenging vehicle will be the French B1 Bis, if you engaging one of these tanks it's recommended to aim your shot for just beneath the turret, as this will cripple the tank, avoid hitting the front plate as this likely will result in no damage.

=== Additional armaments ===
The fm/43-44 is also equipped with a hull mounted 8mm ksp m/36 machine gun, it has no viability against armoured targets but can knock out exposed crew members of enemy vehicles. It's recommended to select it directly when using it however as aiming it accurately by eye isn't very easy.

== Usage in battles ==
[[File:Fm-43-44 1.jpg|thumb|689x689px|The fm/43-44 engaging an M13/40]]
The main trick to doing well in the fm/43-44 is to stay around cover, and to not advance too far into the map on your own. Due to the reload you can't afford to get caught out at close range as if you're unable to fire, an enemy can quite easily flank and disable you. To stay in the fight it's imperative you stay around some form of hard cover to retreat behind to reload, as this is the only time that you're really vulnerable.

Another choice to make is at what range you're going to engage at, and there are notable drawbacks and advantages for each distance. At close range the cannon is very very easy to aim which will land you a lot of easy kills, however it is much easy to get caught out here, if you miss a shot an enemy has plenty of time to rush and flank you, as well as this even if you do land a shot and knock an enemy out, enemy enemies that are aware of you in the surrounding area will know they safely have at least 15 seconds to rush you while you're on reload. At long range your armour will be very effective, the weak spots are very hard to hit here and some enemies might not even be able to get through the casemate itself, but as the muzzle velocity on the round is so low, hitting targets at this distance is very tricky, and considering as you only have 10 rounds, you can't really afford to miss very much, as each shot fired takes up 10% of your ammunition effectively.

At long range you're much more survivable but much less effective at taking out enemies, and at close range it's much the reverse, able to engage enemies easily at the detriment of being much more vulnerable. The Goldilocks principle in this situation is as the analogy goes- 'in the middle', where you have the best of both worlds, in essence all you really need to do is position yourself in a location around hard cover, and far enough away that an enemy can't rush you on your reload cycle, this is the ideal spot to be to maximise your survivability and combat effectiveness, if you are in this sort of position and watching a corner or sight-line, it's a good idea to rangefind that corner or sight-line as when an enemy appears you'll already have the perfect range, this really is the idea spot for consistency, there are a few smaller caveats to consider however. As this vehicle is so vulnerable from the air it's a good idea to position yourself around some form of lateral cover, some buildings, a hill, some trees etc- just to give you a slight advantage when hiding from enemies. Another spot in the map to position yourself around would be a friendly cap point, if you're running out of ammunition you can simply drive onto one to replenish your stores, which wont always be necessary but if you start to notice you only have a few rounds left it'd be a good idea to make your way towards one.

If you're confident with your map knowledge or playing with some friends you can use this vehicle to be a bit more aggressive, as the armour is still very effective and if you have support from friends watching your flanks you can really be a battering ram for the team as no enemy vehicle is safe from your cannon, if this way of playing does sound appealing in any case try to stick around some friendly tanks, as they will be able to help you if you get caught out.

=== Pros and cons ===
<!--Summarise and briefly evaluate the vehicle in terms of its characteristics and combat effectiveness. Mark its pros and cons in a bulleted list. Try not to use more than 6 points for each of the characteristics. Avoid using categorical definitions such as "bad", "good" and the like - use substitutions with softer forms such as "inadequate" and "effective".-->

'''Pros:'''

* Incredibly high damage output from the main gun
* Effective when up-tiered
* Decent mobility
* Effective armour against low tier vehicles
* High survivability with five crew members

'''Cons:'''

* Vulnerable to aircraft and artillery
* Long reload time
* Low ammo count (10 rounds)
* Poor gun Depression at only -4°
* Slow muzzle velocity
{{Break}}
The '''{{Specs|name}}''' is a rank {{Specs|rank}} Swedish SPAA {{Battle-rating}}. It was introduced in [[Update 1.97 "Viking Fury"]].

== General info ==
=== Survivability and armour ===
The Pvlvv fm/42 is a fairly weak vehicle in terms of survivability, it features no meaningful protection from any angle, with only 10mm of armour protecting the front of the hull, and 16mm of effective armour protecting the gunner.

=== Mobility ===
The mobility and speed of this vehicle is fairly effective, it wont outpace many enemy light vehicles around this battle rating, but it is fast enough to get where it needs to be in the map without much trouble. Off-road it can cruise at a max of 38km/h In RB modes and 54km/h in AB modes, making it one of the fastest Swedish ground vehicles at its rank. It can change direction and manoeuvre well enough, and has a reverse gear of 6km/h, which isn't vastly impressive, but is enough to occasionally get you out of trouble. However, as the engine is fairly weak it will struggle to climb steep hills, so try to approach these obstacles at an angle to increase the friction on the tracks.

{{tankMobility}}

== Armaments ==
[[File:Pvlvv fm-42 Elevation.jpg|thumb|458x458px|The max elevation angle of the Pvlvv fm/42]]

=== Main armament ===

A further drawback of this vehicle's armament is the total ammo count, at only 108 rounds with the possibility of taking 3 belts, this hugely limits its performance especially against aircraft as acquiring the lead will usually take a fair few shots, so by the time you've landed a critical shot most of your ammo will likely be gone.

== Usage in battles ==

It's important to know your enemy and only engage if you're certain you can cause critical damage, you don't want to waste shots or waste your life, so learning the general armour layout of your enemies is an important factor here.

Although if you're confident you can simply drive around in a manner similar to that of a conventional tank, due to the autocannon you can spray your enemies down at close range without necessarily aiming, as it's quite likely you'll disable them before the can fire back at you, playing this way is certainly possible but due to how weak this vehicle is it's only recommend if you're very confident and have the vehicle fully upgraded.
{{break}}
The '''{{Specs|name}}''' (shortened as '''{{Specs|pseudonym}}''') is a Rank {{Specs|rank}} Italy tank destroyer {{Battle-rating|1}}. It was introduced in [[Update 1.85 "Supersonic"]].

== General info ==
=== Survivability and armour ===
The 47/32 L40 isn't the most impressive vehicle when it comes to survivability, the frontal casemate armour is 30mm thick, with the area around the gun shield being around 75mm thick. In reality though, the majority of shots will be hitting the flat section of armour around the drivers port, which is vulnerable to everything apart from heavy machine guns; and if a shot penetrates this area it's likely the tank will be knocked out.

The crew is made up of 3 members, the driver gunner and commander, with the commander being positioned directly behind the driver, meaning that both crew members will likely be knocked out if a shot enters through the drivers side. It is possible to angle the gun shield towards an attacking enemy to try and soak a shot into the shield as most tanks around this BR lack the penetration required to punch through it, this can protect against some incoming shots, but it isn't not constantly viable. Additionally, as this tank is open topped it is vulnerable to every enemy aircraft with armament, so consider hiding and avoiding open areas of the map if a hostile aircraft is flying around.

=== Mobility ===
The 47/32 L40 is fairly average mobility wise. It can cruise at 46 km/h off road in AB, and 31 km/h in RB, which isn't really that impressive when compared to its contemporaries. It isn't slow to the point where its comparative lack of speed is a detriment to the vehicle, but it just isn't fast enough to excel in terms of mobility. It does struggle when climbing inclines in the terrain though due to the low horsepower. It can reverse at a speed of 7 km/h however which is fairly useful. Its reactive mobility as well is functional, this tank can turn and adjust itself fairly easily to combat enemies approaching from different angles.
== Armaments ==
=== Main armament ===
<!--''Give the reader information about the characteristics of the main gun. Assess its effectiveness in a battle based on the reloading speed, ballistics and the power of shells. Do not forget about the flexibilty of the fire, that is how quickly the cannon can be aimed at the target, open fire on it and aim at another enemy. Add a link to the main article on the gun: <code><nowiki>{{main|Name of the weapon}}</nowiki></code>. Describe in general terms the ammunition available for the main gun. Give advice on how to use them and how to fill the ammunition storage.''-->
{{main|47/32 mod.35 (47 mm)}}The 47/32 is equipped with the same 47mm gun found on the M13s and M14 Medium tanks. Its performance in terms of penetration and damage potential is fairly good, and can comfortably deal with most vehicles around its Battle Rating. Its main drawback in terms of firepower however is the reload, at 7.8 seconds stock, which is one of the longest reloads at the tier, meaning a lot of enemy vehicles can likely fire two shots in the time it takes for this tank to reload, which combined with its poor survivability makes its reload time a huge drawback. An advantage this tank has though is gun depression, the cannon can depress to -12 degrees which is fairly impressive and allows this tank to utilise ridge lines and hills more effectively than other vehicles. This cannon comes with three rounds-

* APHE - Standard armour piercing high explosive round, good penetration and damage.
* HE - Standard high explosive shell, functionally useless due to the low calibre.
* APBC - Armour piercing high explosive with ballistic cap, highest penetration over range and angles with the same HE filler as the APHE round.

Overall the unlockable APBC round has the most functionality, it carries the most penetration over ranges and over angled armour as well, it isn't a huge step up from the stock APHE round, but it is slightly more reliable overall.

== Usage in battles ==
[[File:47-32 L40 2.jpg|thumb|638x638px|The 47/32 L40 knocking out a French armoured car]]
Due to its various drawbacks the 47/32 L40 is almost constantly vulnerable, lacking the mobility and armour to keep itself in the fight. These shortcomings make this vehicle more suited to a defensive role where its drawbacks can be somewhat negated. Like the previous vehicle in the line, the M11/39- this tank works well in ambush, engaging enemies from a static position. Unlike the M11/39 however, this tank can engage at range fairly effectively, as the 47mm cannon will still be able to deal with most common tanks around this battle rating.

As this vehicle is so small, it becomes a fairly hard target to hit at range, and as most low tier cannons aren't very accurate, it's likely an enemy will take some time to range in their fire accurately and hit you. Additionally, due to the gun depression this tank can make use of a lot of different areas of the map, utilising ridge-lines and hills more effectively than most other tanks, this means it can be played to decent effect anywhere, as its ability to fire on enemies isn't limited by the terrain, but as it has no turret and is overall fairly weak, avoid pushing too far into the map as this tank can't survive a lot of fire or a shot into the side; a sniping spot at range or a camping spot at close range will be ideal.

Another tactic to make use of is angling, if you're taking fire and need to retreat, try angling the side of the tank with the gun shield towards the enemy, as it's likely the incoming rounds will strike the shield leading to a non-pen, allowing you more time to get away or return fire, although ideally you don't want to be shot at at all. Also, try to avoid driving out in the open, as you're very vulnerable here, in general it's best to avoid commonly travelled routes in the map, as if you meet an enemy on the move, it's likely they will get a shot off on you before you can land a shot on them, due to how unstable this cannon is when coming to a stop. Try to stick with you're team if you want to play a bit more aggressively, as you don't have enough offensive advantages to reliably beat enemy tanks one on one, you'll need to already be in an advantageous position when you meet an enemy to get the most reliable results, i.e camping a corner or sniping.

=== Pros and cons ===
<!--''Summarize and briefly evaluate the vehicle in terms of its characteristics and combat effectiveness. Mark its pros and cons in a bulleted list. Try not to use more than 6 points for each of the characteristics. Avoid using categorical definitions such as "bad", "good" and the like - they have a substitution in the form of softer "inadequate", "effective"''-->
The Semovente (sometimes abbreviated "SMV") 47/32 was derived from the L6/40 light tank in order to act as a mobile version of Italy's standard anti-tank gun, the Boehler M1935 or Cannone da 47/32, also used in the M13/40 and M14/41 medium tanks. It was intended to act as a tank destroyer in dedicated battalions , but in practice was generally used instead as infantry support because its anti-tank performance was so mediocre. A squadron of nine was authorised for the RECo (Raggruppamento Esplorante Corazzato; armoured reconnaissance task force) of an armoured or motorised division. A four-vehicle element was also authorised for the NEC (Nucleo Esplorante Celere; fast recon group) of the 1943-type infantry division, at least on paper. From March of 1942 it saw action in Russia with the 13th Semoventi Battalion, part of the 3rd Celere (Cavalry) Division, destroyed in the Don River fighting at the end of that year. 47/32s also were employed in Tunisia, Sicily and Italy.

Around 300 were built. After the 1943 armistice, 78 were confiscated by Germany, who gave most of them to Italian forces or Croatia.
The '''{{Specs|name}}''' (shortened as '''{{Specs|pseudonym}}''') is a Rank {{Specs|rank}} Italy tank destroyer {{Battle-rating|1}}. It was introduced in [[Update 1.85 "Supersonic"]].

== General info ==
=== Survivability and armour ===

=== Mobility ===
== Armaments ==
=== Main armament ===

=== Pros and cons ===
<!--''Summarize and briefly evaluate the vehicle in terms of its characteristics and combat effectiveness. Mark its pros and cons in a bulleted list. The Semovente (sometimes abbreviated "SMV") 47/32 was derived from the L6/40 light tank in order to act as a mobile version of Italy's standard anti-tank gun, the Boehler M1935 or Cannone da 47/32, also used in the M13/40 and M14/41 medium tanks. It was intended to act as a tank destroyer in dedicated battalions , but in practice was generally used instead as infantry support because its anti-tank performance was so mediocre. A squadron of nine was authorised for the RECo (Raggruppamento Esplorante Corazzato; armoured reconnaissance task force) of an armoured or motorised division. {{break}}
The '''{{Specs|name}}''' is a rank {{Specs|rank}} Italian medium tank {{Battle-rating}}. It was introduced in [[Update 1.85 "Supersonic"]]. Despite being classed as a Medium tank, it shares more in common with conventional tank destroyers.

== General info ==
=== Survivability and armour ===
<!--''Describe armour protection. Note the most well protected and key weak areas. Appreciate the layout of modules as well as the number and location of crew members. Is the level of armour protection sufficient, is the placement of modules helpful for survival in combat?''-->

The M11/39 has fairly unimpressive protection overall at 30mm frontally. At common combat ranges it will be vulnerable to the vast majority of typical rounds, however it is frontally immune from heavy machine gun fire. The crew is made up of 3 total members, the Driver Gunner and Commander, the latter of which is positioned in the MG turret. An incoming shot into this turret will rarely one-shot the tank, but a shot into the drivers port will commonly see the vehicle knocked out. However it is fairly likely enemies will attempt to fire into the MG turret, which will likely only knock out the commander leaving all other assets of the tank completely functional, allowing you to drive off or return fire.

=== Mobility ===
The mobility of the M11/39 is quite average, it is fast and responsive enough to get around the map and change direction easily, but not fast enough to really take advantage of it's mobility. It wont outpace many enemy vehicles to advantageous positions into the map, and overall doesn't offer any advantage to the vehicle other than being adequately mobile. It's reactive mobility is fairly effective however, it can easily turn in place to face a different direction when upgraded which is necessary due to the hull mounted cannon. It can cruise off-road at 37 km/h in AB and 33 km/h in RB, so it isn't slow by any means, but not notably very fast either. The reverse is only 4-5 km/h as well, making it hard to back out of an unwanted engagement.
== Armaments ==
=== Main armament ===
<!--''Give the reader information about the characteristics of the main gun. Assess its effectiveness in a battle based on the reloading speed, ballistics and the power of shells. Add a link to the main article on the gun: <code><nowiki>{{main|Name of the weapon}}</nowiki></code>. {{main|Vickers-Terni 37/40 mod.18 (37 mm)}}The M11/39 is equipped with a hull mounted 37mm cannon that fires an APHE round. Overall, the performance of the cannon and this round is largely unimpressive, at common combat ranges it can punch through between 35-25mm of flat armour, which means that it can potentially meet some vehicles that the round can't frontally penetrate without a very well aimed shot. It will struggle against the American Stuarts and the majority of French vehicles, meaning that this vehicles combat ability isn't hugely consistent. Additionally, it lacks the penetration performance to engage at ranges, as passed 800 meters or so, the penetration power falls off to only 20mm of flat penetration which means it will struggle to penetrate the vast majority of enemy vehicles, on top of this the cannon itself is fairly inaccurate. The round does contain 23 grams of explosive filler however, which is enough to one-shot enemy vehicles with 3 crew members or less fairly regularly, which is something to consider.
=== Machine guns ===
<!--''Offensive and anti-aircraft machine guns not only allow you to fight some aircraft, but also are effective against lightly armoured vehicles. Evaluate machine guns and give recommendations on its use.''-->
{{main|Breda Mod. 38 (8 mm)}}The M11/39 is equipped with twin Breda Mod. 38 .30 Calibre machine guns in the Commander's turret with 24 rounds per gun. They have basically no viability against enemy armour and can only be use to knock out exposed crew members. However, they can potentially be used as an anti-air weapon as the twin machine guns will be enough to cripple enemy aircraft. In practice applying them in this way isn't very viable though, as they can't elevate high enough to be able to attack aircraft unless the aircraft is flying very low, or the tank is positioned on an angle giving it an artificially higher elevation. The machine guns can be used to attack aircraft, however it isn't regularly effective enough to consider this a key strategy.

== Usage in battles ==
[[File:M11-39 1.jpg|thumb|631x631px|M11/39 passing a knocked out BT-7]]
Because of its various shortcomings, the M11/39 doesn't have a play-style that consistently works well every time, but certain ways of play are easily more consistent than others. One effective way to play is in ambush, lying in wait to engage enemies at close range, at distances the cannon is just too inaccurate and lacks the penetration required to be constantly effective, so playing it at close range negates those issues. It's also important to avoid situations where you could possibly meet an enemy on the move, as adjusting your angle to face the enemy tied with how unstable the cannon is when coming to a stop, means that enemy tanks will likely be able to get a shot off on you before you can accurately fire at them.

Ideally, you're going to want to engage at close range from a sedentary position, watching corners or covering cap points is where you'll likely see the most hostile tanks, so if you can find a good position in these locations you will likely pick up a few kills. Due to the small size of the M11, it might tank enemies a few seconds longer than normal to identify you as a threat, especially if you're positioned out of the way, making this vehicle even more adequately suited to the ambush role.

It's also important to note which tanks you'll struggle engaging, the M11 lacks the penetration to engage most French tanks and the late American Stuarts and HMCs, so it's a good idea to look at the armour layout of these vehicles to identify weak spots, if an enemy comes into sight that you can't easily penetrate, refrain from engaging it unless it presents a side shot, there's no use firing if you can't reliably cut through the armour. The M11/39 is a more defensive tank when compared to its contemporaries, and if you can identify a good camping position on any given map, the M11 will likely perform well enough.

=== Pros and cons ===
<!--''Summarize and briefly evaluate the vehicle in terms of its characteristics and combat effectiveness. Mark its pros and cons in a bulleted list. Try not to use more than 6 points for each of the characteristics. Avoid using categorical definitions such as "bad", "good" and the like - they have a substitution in the form of softer "inadequate", "effective".''-->

'''Pros:'''

* Machine guns have anti-air potential
* Relatively fast reload
* Low profile

'''Cons:'''

* Poor penetration
* Fairly inaccurate main gun
* Inadequate performance at range
* Low survivability

== History ==
<!--''Describe the history of the creation and combat usage of the ground vehicle in more detail than in the introduction. If the historical reference turns out to be too big, take it to a separate article, taking a link to an article about the vehicle and adding a block "/ History" (example: <nowiki>https://wiki.warthunder.com/(Vehicle-name)/History</nowiki>) and add a link to it here using the <code>main</code> template.
This pre-war design was intended to be the standard Italian medium tank, equipping medium tank battalions in the armoured divisions. However, the positioning of the medium-velocity 37mm main armament in a limited-traverse hull mounting was short-sighted and quickly lost favour. The tank had no radio. Only 100 were built before Italy moved on to the M13/40. Twenty-four served, in 4-tank platoons, with the Medium Special Tank Company (Compagnia Speciale Carri M) in the East African Armored Task Force in Italian East Africa until the Italians there were defeated in June 1941. Another 70 were deployed with the 1st and 2nd Medium Tank Battalions, which deployed to Libya in summer, 1940, and were all either destroyed or captured by British forces by early February 1941.

=== Pros and cons ===

* Relatively fast reload
* Low profile

'''Cons:'''

* Poor penetration
* Fairly inaccurate main gun
* Inadequate performance at range
* Low survivability

== History ==
Be sure to reference text and sources by using <code><nowiki><ref></nowiki></code>, as well as adding them at the end of the article.''-->

{{Break}}
The '''{{specs|name}}''' is a rank {{specs|rank}} Japanese motor torpedo boat {{Battle-rating}}. It was introduced in [[Update 1.89 "Imperial Navy"]].

== General info ==
=== Survivability and armour ===
The T-51b is unarmoured, apart from the 4mm of steel making up the hull. It's a fairly large vessel for its class, and also not the fastest either, this means it will take a higher amount of damage comparatively, and will likely not survive incoming fire for very long. It does however have four compartments, so if fire is concentrated over a small area it will likely survive for a short amount of time.

=== Mobility ===
The T-51b isn't a hugely fast vessels by MTB standards, reaching a max of 52 km/h in RB modes, and 73 km/h in AB modes. It's also a fairly long boat, so it has a fairly wide turning circle, and will take some time to adjust direction. Its acceleration and speed in reverse also isn't too impressive. Overall, it's fast enough to cruise around the map and reach the spots it needs to, but it does lack the overall mobility to get out of trouble when fighting faster craft.

== Armament ==
=== Primary armament ===
[[File:T-51b deadzones.jpg|thumb|331x331px|Dead zones on the cannon mounting]]
{{main|25 mm/60 Type 96 (25 mm)}}
The T-51b is equipped with a triple 25mm mounting, which on the surface offers huge damage potential, a single 25mm cannon is a powerful, the presence of three of these cannons can lead for a very high damage output. However, because of the shield present around the mounting, it does have a significant dead-zone, meaning that the cannons can't fire at a surface target in the red sections of the diagram to the right. This can make the T-51b quite a tedious vehicle to engage other vessels with. The 25mm cannons come with three belts-

* Universal- Predominantly HE rounds with an AP round, good for combating all types of vessels but not the most powerful.

* API- Predominantly AP rounds with one HE round, good for combating armoured vessels.

* HEIT- Full HE belt with few tracers, the highest damage potential against light craft, but little viability against armoured targets.

Overall, taking a mix of API and HEIT belts to switch between will let you cause maximum potential damage to all kinds of boats. The HEIT belt will cause impressive damage to lightly armoured boats- although they are slightly harder to aim as there are few tracers, and the API rounds will shred through the various armoured vessels and support craft you'll meet.

=== Torpedo armament ===
{{main|Type 2 (450 mm)}}
The T-51b is armed with four Type 2 torpedoes, they will easily destroy any MTB or large support craft, but as the maximum range is only 3 kilometres you'll need to get a bit closer to the target or choke point than you would with other torpedoes, there's also no 'Torpedo mode' modification to allow for more travel distance, so there's no way to increase the range, this makes engaging Destroyers on the open sea quite tricky, as you'll need to make yourself vulnerable to be able to reach the torpedoes effective range.

=== Special armament ===
{{main|Type 95 depth charge}}
This boat can carry twelve Type 95 depth charges, which can be dropped to maim other naval targets, they have rather limited viability though as most MTBs will be able to outrun the explosion, however they are useful for sneaking up on the larger ships, as if you can reach them unnoticed one or two of these depth charges will sink the vessel, although overall they have quite limited viability in battle currently.

== Usage in battles ==
[[File:T-51b 1.jpg|thumb|420x420px|The T-51b engaging an American sub-chaser]]
The T-51b is a fairly defensive boat. Its lack of ability to engage surface targets from the front means that it lacks the viability to be truly aggressive. It does however work fairly well defensively. The 25mm cannons have a fairly wide arc of fire towards the rear of the boat, so if this section is pointed towards the enemy the cannons can really do some damage. Aiming to engage from this setup is really the most consistent way to safely play the T-51b, sailing around on the move and engaging targets like most conventional MTBs would isn't going to work due to the large dead zones.

Try and utilise the terrain of the map to protect yourself and angle the rear of the vessel towards where enemy boats are likely to come from. Aim to stay somewhat stationary while doing this as well, if you get caught out you can simply accelerate off and lay smoke as you're already facing away from the enemy. Also, try not to pick a location where enemies can potentially engage you at close range, this vessel is large, fairly slow to react, and can only fire from the back, so enemies can quite easily outmanoeuvre the T-51b if given the chance, the 25mm guns will work well up to around 2000 meters, so there's no need to stay at very close range, as all this does is allow enemies to take advantage of your weaknesses easier.

=== Pros and cons ===
<!--''Summarize and briefly evaluate the vehicle in terms of its characteristics and combat effectiveness. Mark its pros and cons in the bulleted list. Try not to use more than 6 points for each of the characteristics. Avoid using categorical definitions such as "bad", "good" and the like - use substitutions with softer forms such as "inadequate" and "effective".''-->

'''Pros:'''

* Great damage potential from the 25mm cannons
* Four high damage torpedoes for engaging close range targets

'''Cons:'''

* Short maximum distance for the torpedoes
* Large dead zone for the cannons
* Fairly slow and unresponsive for an MTB
* Comparatively large, unarmoured target

If the historical reference turns out to be too long, take it to a separate article, taking a link to the article about the vehicle and adding a block "/ History" (example: <nowiki>https://wiki.warthunder.com/(Vehicle-name)/History</nowiki>) and add a link to it here using the <code>main</code> template.
The Type Ko MTB (甲型魚雷艇, T-51) is a Japanese large MTB inspired by the German S-boots.
[[File:T-51b 2.jpg|thumb|537x537px|The T-51b in sail]]
This boat is separated into two group: No.10 class MTB (T-51a) and No.11 class MTB (T-51b) (Currently, the in-game model is a mix of the two classes' features).

After the completion of the No.1 class MTB ([[Type T-1|T-1]]), news about activity of the German [[S-38|Schnellboot (S-boot)]] from Europe reached the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN). They started to copy the S-boot design, but they had only a simple sketch and one civilian motor boat owned by the Mitsui family built by Lürssen (a builder of S-boot). In that time, the Japanese did not have the experience to produce a wood-and-iron mixed large boat, so at first they built one prototype. ("Vessel No.600", later No.10 MTB)

The No.600 prototype was laid down in July 1942 by Yokohama Yacht Tsurumi factory and completed in November 1943. But because of the worsening of the war situation, they started mass-production the ship design before testing the prototype. Just afterwards, the Japanese receive official detailed drawings of 95-ft type S-boot. Basically, design of future T-51 and S-boat was similar, but there was much for the Japanese to learn.

In the designing of No.600, the Japanese simplified lots of part and material. Due to how well-crafted the S-boot design was, the simplification caused several problems. Though measures were taken to mitigate the problems, the vessel stability was not enough and so there were difficulties putting the ship into practical use.

No.600 was equipped with four Mark 71 Model 6 engines (water-cooled, 920 HP), which were a copy of the Italian MAS-451 MTB engines. There were two shafts, with two engines connected to one shaft by Vulkan coupling. However, this configuration caused an increase of weight and so the prototype exceeded the planned displacement of 84.2 tons, and instead reached 89.6 tons and so the maximum speed decreased. Because of this, the boat was redesigned into the No.11 class MTB, which eliminated the coupling and so each engine had their own shaft. With this, the single No.10 class design (No.600 prototype) was named the ''T-51a'', with the redesigned No.11 class as the '''T-51b''' that would be the model for subsequent boat numbers.

Armaments was also redesigned between the two class. The T-51a had one 25 mm twin machine gun and four 45 cm torpedoes, while the T-51b had three 25 mm single machine guns and two torpedoes.

No.10 (T-51a), No.13 and No.16 were built at Yokohama Yacht Tsurumi factory, while the other boats were built by a new shipyard, Yokohama Yacht Choshi factory. A total of ten Type Ko MTBs were laid down, but only 8 boats were completed (No.10 - No.17). Construction of Type Ko was cancelled in August 1944. No.18 was planned to equip a small diesel engine, but it was not completed. The construction of Type Ko MTBs was delayed because the No.11 class MTBs need to resolve problem discovered during the testing of No.10 class MTB. Also the Mk.71 Mod.6 engines required advanced manufacturing technology and so production of engine was also delayed.

No.10 MTB was dispatched to Truk island just after completion, but a fire broke out and sank due to air raid. No.12 MTB was brought out from Choshi to Yokosuka to equip weapons, but just after that was completed, she sunk due to an electric motor spark that ignited the gasoline and subsequently exploded.

Other vessels was deployed to the Special Attack corps, but most of them did not experience the actual battle. Only one boat deployed at Habu port of Izu Oshima attacked an enemy submarine.

Also, No.16 MTB equip only two engine. She used space of other engines for hold and used for tender boat of other small MTBs and midget submarines at Kawadana Assault Corps.<ref name="ShigeruNavy" /><ref name="YoshinobuBoat" />
{{Break}}
The '''{{specs|name}}''' is a rank {{specs|rank}} Japanese sub-chaser {{Battle-rating}}. It was introduced in [[Update 1.89 "Imperial Navy"]].

== General info ==
=== Survivability and armour ===
The K-7 is unarmoured apart from the 6mm of steel making up the hull, it does have a total of 59 crew members however which does buff its survivability somewhat, as lower caliber guns will struggle to quickly sweep this ship of its crew. However the large size of the vessel does artificially lower its survivability, as this makes it much easier to hit at all ranges, on top of this its also not the fastest vessel around, so it will catch a lot of damage. Overall though it's one of the more survivable vessels around its battle rating.

=== Mobility ===
For its size the K-7 isn't exactly slow, at 37 km/h in RB modes, and 56 km/h in AB modes. It's nowhere close to the speed of many smaller vessels, but for a large sub-chaser it can make its way around the map fairly easily, and despite its size has enough reactive mobility to dodge enemy torpedoes if noticed early enough, it can quite easily change direction at speed but due to the size, does take a while to decelerate to a stop.

== Armament ==
=== Primary armament ===
[[File:Type K-7 - No.4 Class (1).jpg|thumb|599x599px|Type K-7 / No.4 Class in sail ]]
{{main|40 mm/62 "HI" Type 91 AA (40 mm)}}
The K-7 is equipped with a twin mounting of the 40mm Vickers autocannon, which is an exceptionally powerful and versatile weapon weapon, it has a very fast fire rate and high damage output, in tandem with a very fast traverse rate, this makes reacting to enemy vessels and aircraft very easy, and because of the fast fire rate the damage output is very consistent, it comes with four belts-

* Universal- A mix of HE and APHE rounds, good all-rounder, but not the most effective.
* HE- Majority HE belt, great for attacking unarmoured vessels, very high damage output with a small amount of APHE rounds if you do come across an armoured vessel.
* SAP- Majority APHE, low penetration but very effective against armoured vessels.
* HE-DF- HE with a timed fuse shell, very effective against aircraft and enemy vessels alike.

The K-7 has a lot of viable options for for the 40mm cannons, the HE-DF belt acts essentially as a full HE belt, so it will damage enemy aircraft and boats very efficiently, however it contains no APHE rounds so this belt cannot damage armoured vessels, but as the reload speed is fairly short, it is a viable to consider taking a full HE-DF belt, and a second belt containing APHE rounds to switch to if an armoured vessel needs to be engaged. Another somewhat overlooked advantage of taking HE-DF rounds is that when detonating on an enemy vessel, they create a large cloud of smoke and shake the enemy players screen slightly, which can be fairly useful for temporarily panicking or disorienting your enemies.

=== Secondary armament ===
{{main|Type 96 (25 mm)}}
The K-7 is equipped with three single mountings of the 25 mm Type 96 autocannon, which makes for a very potent secondary weapon. The HE type rounds this gun fires will have no trouble knocking out PT boats and even larger support vessels, sometimes even wiping out an enemy boat in one magazine all together. The cannons can cover a fairly wide area together, they all individually have blind-spots but there's no total deadzone for all the cannons, which makes knocking out ships sneaking up on your rear a lot easier. Additionally due to the HE these cannons can engage targets at range and still do damage. This cannon can also cause critical damage to aircraft with only a single hit. The cannon comes with three belts: universal, APT belts and HEI belts.

* Universal belts: good balance between firepower and tracer contents, useful for newcomers to the Japanese 25 mm autocannon.

* APT belts: Full of AP shells, it's recommended to take a few belts of AP in case you meet a Russian armoured river boat.

* HEI belts: Trades tracer rounds for extra firepower, harder to aim but very good at knocking out PT boats and aircraft.

=== Special armament ===
{{main|Type 95 depth charge}}
The K-7 can carry a total of 18 Type 95 depth charges which can be dropped to maim other naval targets. Four of the charges are placed in a mortar arrangement that fire off the sides of the vessel to engage targets at the sides at a further range. They have rather limited viability though as most MTBs will be able to outrun the explosion. However they are useful in the event of being rushed by a smaller naval vessel, as if the drop is timed right the depth charges can easily take out enemies performing this manoeuvre.

== Usage in battles ==
[[File:Type K-7 - No.4 Class (2).jpg|thumb|738x738px|The Type K-7 engaging a PT-6]]
The K-7 is a very functional vessel, it has the ability to effectively combat every type of vessel and aircraft, which can't be said about a lot of ships. The most important thing to keep in mind while playing the K-7 is to try and minimise taking damage, the vessel is very large, and if played in a location that's easily visible it will slowly take a large amount of damage, a good way to try and limit damage to the hull is to point the hull front directly at the vessel you're engaging, this way the compartments towards the back of the vessel are immune to damage, playing it in this way can be a detriment potentially though as this angle makes it much easier for enemies to knock out the 40mm cannon mounting at the front, but it is the best way to position yourself to minimise damage.

Something else to be wary of are torpedo boats on your sides, as this vessel is very long and takes a while to adjust speed, an incoming torpedo from the side will be hard to doge, if you see an incoming enemy boat it's a good idea to immediately take evasive action to preemptively avoid a torpedo, this vessel is very narrow, so avoiding a torpedo from the front will be much easier. Be conscious of enemies trying to attack you from behind as well, and periodically check your surroundings just in case an enemy MTB is sneaking up on you, as if you notice too late, it will be quite hard to dodge a torpedo or a run of depth charges, this vessel is quite vulnerable to this kind of attack.

This vessel is somewhat limited to close range engagements, the 40mm guns have a fairly low velocity, so accurately landing shots past 2,000 meters will be quite difficulty if your enemy is fairly mobile, at close range the the rounds will be easy aim, and can usually take out a small enemy vessel in just one sweep of rounds across the hull. A possible advantage to this is that the rounds can arc over cover to land on enemies hiding behind the terrain, it can be difficult to find the correct ranging but it is possible to take out enemies completely hidden behind cover, which is a fairly unique advantage to this vessel.

=== Pros and cons ===
<!--Summarize and briefly evaluate the vehicle in terms of its characteristics and combat effectiveness. Mark its pros and cons in the bulleted list. Try not to use more than 6 points for each of the characteristics. Avoid using categorical definitions such as "bad", "good" and the like - use substitutions with softer forms such as "inadequate" and "effective".-->

'''Pros:'''

* Versatile ammo options for attacking all types of vessel
* Fast traverse rate on the main cannons
* Versatile secondary armament

The '''{{specs|name}}''' is a rank {{specs|rank}} Japanese motor gun boat {{Battle-rating}}. It was introduced in [[Update 1.89 "Imperial Navy"]].

== General info ==
=== Survivability and armour ===
The Type 5 has no additional armour protection, other than the 8mm of steel that make up the hull. It is a fairly large ship though, and in regards to survivability this is a detriment and advantage. As it's large and fairly slow, its very easy to hit accurately at close and long range, meaning it will take a large amount of fire. However, it does have four hull compartments and 21 crew members, which does make it more survivable than most of the commonly found vessels around its battle rating. Its survivability largely does depend on what its fighting though, high caliber guns and rapid fire cannons will sink it fairly quickly down to how easy it is to hit, whereas high caliber machine gun fire will take a while to cause critical damage.

=== Mobility ===
The Type 5 is fairly lacking when it comes to speed and overall mobility, it can reach a max of 23 km/h in RB modes, and 32 km/h in AB modes, making it one of the slowest vehicles around its BR. It's also fairly unresponsive to changes in direction, and will take a comparatively long time to turn, this can make it difficult to avoid torpedoes or to angle the on board weaponry as the primary and secondary armaments have quite significant deadzones.

== Armament ==
=== Primary armament ===
{{main|Type 88 AA (75 mm)}}
[[File:Type 5 (2).jpg|thumb|492x492px|The Type 5 (1945)]]
The Type 5 is equipped with a 76.2mm cannon for its main gun, and its fairly effective on all fronts, it has a high base reload, fast traverse and high damage output. It comes with three types of ammunition-

* HE - High explosive shell, high damage output but low penetration
* HE-DF - HE shell with timed fuse, useful against air targets primarily
* APHE - High penetration with lower damage output, useful against armoured targets

Overall the HE round does the most consistent damage against enemy vessels, a few hits will sink most of the common MTBs around this tier, and it can even one-shot smaller boats if the round strikes a torpedo. The APHE round does little structural damage and will often overpen lightly armoured boats, it is however very useful against armoured vessels, such as the Russian river boats, it will usually destroy an armorued compartment quite easily, so it is recommended to take some APHE rounds to deal with these vessels. The timed fuse HE shell does have viable use against aircraft, but in reality the main caliber gun is best used against enemy boats, as the the Type 5 is equipped with a fairly effective anti-air secondary armament.

=== Secondary armament ===
{{main|Type 98 (20 mm)}}
The Type 5 is equipped with two 20mm Type 98 cannon mounts for its secondary weapon.They do however have a limited firing arc and can only engage enemy vessels from the sides or rear of the boat. Despite this they are a moderately powerful weapon to fall back on, or to attack vessels approaching from behind. They work well at close range, and can function adequately up to around 1500 meters, but at this distance it will struggle to do a lot of damage. The magazine contains 20 rounds and reloads very quickly, allowing for a steady stream of fire against enemy vessels or aircraft. It comes with three belts-

* Universal - A mix of high explosive and armour piercing rounds.
* HET - Majority high explosive rounds
* APT - Majority armour piercing rounds

Overall, the HET type rounds do the most damage consistently to most of the vessels you'll be coming across, so it's best to take a lot of HET belts, though also consider bringing some armour piercing belts in case you come across some more heavily armoured boats in the deadzone of your main cannon. All in all though these 20mm cannons will be most useful against enemy aircraft, as although the main cannon has a timed fuse shell, it's better to keep it focused on enemy boats and let the 20mms tackle aircraft.

=== Special armament ===
{{main|Type 95 depth charge}}
The Type 5 can carry six Type 95 depth charges which can be dropped to maim other naval targets, they have rather limited viability though as most MTBs will be able to outrun the explosion. However they are useful in the event of being rushed by a smaller naval vessel, as if the drop is timed right the depth charges can easily take out enemies performing this manoeuvre.

==Usage in battles==
[[File:Type 5 (1).jpg|thumb|672x672px]]
The Type 5 has a lot of potential to cause damage, but it can easily be overwhelmed by enemy vessels. As it's fairly large and slow it will quickly accumulate a heavy amount of fire and damage if played in a fairly open location, as such, it's a good idea to use the environment to give yourself some hard cover, use islands, shipwrecks or whatever the map presents to keep yourself safe. The Type 5 is just too slow and vulnerable to damage to be safely played out in the open. Also, try not to advance too far into the map, as the Type 5 is slow, it's practically impossible to retreat once you've advanced too far, and if caught out it wont take long to sink.

A good spot to play the Type 5 would be to poke the front of the hull with the main cannon out from behind cover, this way only one compartment is visible to be damaged, and you have the ability to fire on enemy vessels while maintaining survivability, if you do start to take fire, you can simply reverse out of sight, repair and reengage.

Another good idea is to engage enemies at a considerable range- at around 2,000 meters, at this distance enemy cannon fire will cause very little damage to you, and most small projectiles will lose most of their penetration power at this distance, all the while your main cannon will still be able to maintain a high damage output at this distance, the gun will still be fairly easy to aim and thanks to the HE, the damage output will be the same across all distances, the APHE will still be able to punch through most armoured targets at further ranges as well.

A spot on the map at range that allows you to cover most of your hull from incoming fire will likely be the best place to play the Type 5, it's just too cumbersome and large to be played out in the open, brawling with contemporary boats. If you do find yourself at close range however the secondary 20mm mounts will likely be a more functioning weapon to use, at close range the main cannon does have a fairly large deadzone towards the back of the vessel, and due to the slow speed, angling the Type 5 to maintain line of sight isn't always going to be possible, the 20mm cannons though do have a fairly wide arc of fire, and can provide a fairly steady stream of damage to enemy vessels and can be aimed easily to destroy the components of enemy vessels at the closer ranges, if you use the main gun at close range it is possible to miss, and this can cost you vital seconds where an enemy is free to damage you, the 20mm cannons are easily more consistent at these ranges.
=== Survivability and armour ===
The Hull of the Ha-Go is made up of 6mm of steel, with no additional armour protection. On top of this it only has a crew of 10, which overall does make it a fairly weak vessel. It is quite low down in the water, which may cause enemy boats to miss the hull at the longer ranges but this really is the only passive advantage the Ha-Go has in terms of survivability. At the closer ranges though the vast majority of enemy vessels will be able to tear through the hull of the Ha-Go fairly easily, it's also very vulnerable to high caliber cannons as well, and can be hull broken if it takes a shot from one of these cannons.

=== Mobility ===
The speed and mobility of this vessel is notably one of its weakest assets, it can reach 34 km/h in AB modes, and 25 km/h in RB modes. It's fairly unresponsive to changes in speed but not necessarily changes in direction, it takes a long time to accelerate and decelerate but it can turn and change direction fairly easily, which is useful for maintaining angles of attack for the weaponry. The main detriment relative to the speed though is in regards to its survivability, as this vessel is relatively unarmoured, large and slow for its battle rating, it accumulates a lot more damage due to the slow speed, this unfortunately makes it a very easy vessel to hit and critically damage.

== Armament ==
=== Primary armament ===
{{main|Type 97 (57 mm)}}
[[File:Ha-Go Fighting Boat Model 1 (2).jpg|thumb|528x528px|The Ha-Go Fighting Boat Model 1]]
This boat is equipped with the 57mm Type 97 cannon, which is functionally very similar to that found on the I-Go Ko and Chi-Ha tanks, though it has some slight ballistic differences. For the Ha-Go though it's a fairly underwhelming weapon for a primary. It will do significant damage to smaller boats when the shot lands but landing a shot is the hardest part. It comes with three different rounds-

* HE - Decent damage output over a fairly wide area
* HEAT - Decent damage output over a condensed area, slightly lower velocity
* APHE - Very little damage potential

Overall the stock HE round is the most consistent, it deals a fairly effective amount of damage, and will black out compartments on smaller boats with a single hit. The HEAT contains a lot of explosive filler, but it doesn't spread damage over a wide area, and it's fairly ineffective when compared to the HE, it does have some viability against more armoured vessels though. The APHE is close to useless functionally, it contains less than half the explosive filler compared to the HE and does a very little amount of internal damage, the HEAT will be a better option against armoured targets.

=== Secondary armament ===
{{main|Type 98 (20 mm)}}
The Ha-Go is equipped with twin 20mm Type 98 cannons for its secondary weapon. These cannons perform very well against aircraft and boats alike, however they can't fire directly forwards, as the cabin blocks the line of sight. All in all, its a modestly powerful weapon and more reliable than the primary 57mm gun. It works well at close range, and can function adequately up to around 1500 meters, but at this distance it will struggle to do a lot of damage. The magazine for each cannon contains 20 rounds and reloads very quickly, allowing for a steady stream of fire against enemy vessels or aircraft. It comes with three belts-

* Universal - A mix of high explosive and armour piercing rounds.
* HET - Majority high explosive rounds
* APT - Majority armour piercing rounds

Overall, the HET type rounds do the most damage consistently to most of the vessels you'll be coming across, so it's best to take a lot of HET belts, though also consider bringing some armour piercing belts in case you come across some more heavily armoured boats.

=== Special armament ===
{{main|Type 95 depth charge}}
The Ha-Go can carry eight Type 95 depth charges, which can be dropped to maim other naval targets, they have rather limited viability though as most MTBs will be able to outrun the explosion, however they are useful in the event of being rushed by a smaller naval vessel, if the drop is timed right the depth charges can easily take out enemies performing this maneuver.

== Usage in battles ==
[[File:Ha-Go Fighting Boat Model 1 (1).jpg|thumb|606x606px|Ha-Go Fighting Boat engaging an enemy LS class vessel]]
A very important aspect of staying afloat in the Ha-Go is to not actively make yourself a target, if this boat is caught out in the open it will be very easy for enemy vessels to hit, as it's so slow and unarmored, a single high caliber cannon round will break the hull, and autocannon fire will steadily chew through the hull and crew members. Open water is a very dangerous place to be in this vessel, it works best around the terrain where it can use the environmental cover. It's a good idea to hug the various terrain on most maps, be it islands or shipwrecks, this way the vessel has some form of constant cover.

It's also possible to play a bit more defensively with this boat, the twin 20mm cannons still make for a decent versatile weapon, and to maintain cover, it's possible to stick the rear of the vessel out of cover so only the rear compartment and the twin cannons are visible, this way the majority of the vessel is protected from taking fire, and the most effective weapon has a wide area it can cover, and if a dangerous enemy boat appears or you're taking too much fire, you can simply accelerate off out of sight. This vessel has no active defensive qualities, so to make it work effectively, you'll need to negate the negatives of its lack of armour and lack of mobility, staying somewhat sedentary around hard cover from the terrain is one of the most effective ways to do this.

The main 57mm cannon will do substantial damage to smaller craft if the round connects, but it has very low velocity and is close to unusable in rough seas, on more placid water it can be used somewhat effectively, but most of the time the secondary 20mm guns will be more effective, and can also tackle enemy aircraft fairly well. The time it takes to range in the 57mm cannon, isn't really worth its potential damage output, the twin 20mm guns will deal a constant stream of damage, and are much easier to aim accurately over distance, or for hitting weakspots.

=== Pros and cons ===

'''Pros:'''
Ha-Go Fighting Boat Model 1 (波號戦斗艇一型), also known Se-Ha (せは艇) was one of the first prototypes of small escort boats (小護衛艇) by the Imperial Japanese Army. It was designed to escort "Daihatsu"-class landing crafts that were transporting munitions to offshore islands.

In January 1944, the Imperial Japanese Army 10th Technical Research Institute ordered Hitachi Zosen Sakurajima shipyard to make two types of small escort craft. The first, called Ha-Go Fighting Boat Model 1 "Se-Ha" (Ha-Go meaning "Mark A"), was to be equipped with two 150 hp engines, and a second named the Ha-Go Fighting Boat Model 2 "Se-Ni" equipped with two 60 hp engines.

The Se-Ni was completed in October 1944 but the top speed was only 9 knots so the plan was cancelled. Se-Ha was eventually completed in December 1944, but after trials the engineers decided to try to modify the design to get more speed.

A third design, "Se-Ha Kai" was completed in July 1945. In a trial cruise during October 2-5, its speed reached 13 knots so research ended. By the surrender of Japan, it had not been formally adopted, but would have been officially named the Type 5 Small Escort Boat. ("Type 5" already in game is Large Escort Boat.)
== Description ==
<!--In the description, the first part should be about the history of the creation and combat usage of the vehicle, as well as its key features. In the second part, tell the reader about the ground vehicle in the game. Insert a screenshot of the vehicle, so that if the novice player does not remember the vehicle by name, he will immediately understand what kind of vehicle the article is talking about.-->
{{Break}}
The '''{{Specs|name}}''' is a rank {{Specs|rank}} German medium tank {{Battle-rating}}. It was introduced during the Closed Beta Test for Ground Forces before [[Update 1.41]]. The successor of the [[Pz.III B|Panzer III B]] and the predecessor of the [[Pz.III F|Panzer III F]] on the German tree line, the Panzer III Ausf. E has an improved armour layout with 30 mm thick front and side armour while retaining the [[KwK 36 (37 mm)|37 mm]] gun.

== General info ==
=== Survivability and armour ===
<!--Describe armour protection. Note the most well protected and key weak areas. Appreciate the layout of modules as well as the number and location of crew members. Is the level of armour protection sufficient, is the placement of modules helpful for survival in combat?

If necessary use a visual template to indicate the most secure and weak zones of the armour.-->
Although the E has improved survivability over the B, the additional armour protection is largely superficial. Overall it's almost double, 30mm on the front and sides, this leads for the possibility to increase the hull armour to just over 40mm effective by angling. However, the majority of common vehicles at the tier will still have no trouble punching through this armour, although the French 1.0 vehicles will largely struggle to penetrate, and on top of this the E model is immune from tank mounted heavy machine gun fire. The turret armour though has the potential to be quite formidable, the base is still 30mm, but there are strips of armour that overlap this with a thickness of 35mm, meaning that on some parts of the turret the total thickness is 65mm total. Because of this the turret is actually fairly strong, but as this extra protection doesn't cover the entire turret face, it's still not entirely reliable.

[[File:Pz.III E 2.jpg|thumb|421x421px|The Pz.III E, distinguished from the B by the more traditional cupola, and the square MG mounting.]]

=== Mobility ===
<!--Write about the mobility of the ground vehicle. Estimate the specific power and manoeuvrability, as well as the maximum speed forwards and backwards.-->
The Pz.III E does have improved mobility over the B model, the top speed is listed as 71 km/h in RB mode, and 79 km/h in AB mode. However, the E can only reach these speeds if travelling down a hill or a decline in the terrain, in RB mode the E will struggle to pass 40 km/h off road, and in AB it will rarely pass the early 50s. So the mobility is upgraded, but it's not really enough of an upgrade to be considered a huge advantage. A big positive though is that the E can reverse a lot faster, meaning that if you get into trouble you can quickly retreat.

== Armaments ==
=== Main armament ===
<!--Give the reader information about the characteristics of the main gun. Assess its effectiveness in a battle based on the reloading speed, ballistics and the power of shells. Do not forget about the flexibility of the fire, that is how quickly the cannon can be aimed at the target, open fire on it and aim at another enemy. Add a link to the main article on the gun: <code><nowiki>{{main|Name of the weapon}}</nowiki></code>. Describe in general terms the ammunition available for the main gun. Give advice on how to use them and how to fill the ammunition storage.-->
{{main|KwK 36 (37 mm)}}

The Pz.III E is equipped with the 37mm KwK36, which is a fairly underwhelming weapon performance wise. It can penetrate most lower tier vehicles at close range, but at further ranges the gun really does start to struggle. It's also fairly inaccurate, which makes aiming for certain weak spots quite difficult. It comes with two available rounds-

* APHE- Max 47mm penetration- Low penetration but higher damage potential.
* APCR- Max 86mm penetration- High penetration but lower damage potential.

It's best to consider taking a mix of both types of ammunition, the APHE has the potential to one-shot some enemy tanks, but will be completely ineffective against the more heavily armoured vehicle you'll likely meet when uptiered, for these tanks it's best to use APCR and aim for flat surfaces. The APCR does very little damage internally, so try to aim for crew members if possible. As this vehicle is at 1.7 the likelihood of encountering vehicles completely immune from the APHE round is fairly likely, so taking some APCR is a must.

=== Machine guns ===
<!--Offensive and anti-aircraft machine guns not only allow you to fight some aircraft but also are effective against lightly armoured vehicles. Evaluate machine guns and give recommendations on its use.-->
{{main|MG 34 (7.92 mm)}}

Like its predecessor, the Pz. III E is equipped with two coaxial 7.92 mm MG34 machine guns, as there are two of them these machine guns are quite potent against enemy anti-air trucks, and even against the slower biplane aircraft commonly encountered in lower tier battles; although their viability against aircraft is questionable due to the slow turret traverse. These guns have no functional viability against armoured vehicles however, and only serve as a last ditch effort to kick up dust, or blind an enemy vehicle by firing at their optics.

== Usage in battles ==
<!--Describe the tactics of playing in the vehicle, the features of using vehicles in the team and advice on tactics. Refrain from creating a "guide" - do not impose a single point of view but instead give the reader food for thought. Describe the most dangerous enemies and give recommendations on fighting them. If necessary, note the specifics of the game in different modes (AB, RB, SB).-->[[File:Pz.III E.jpg|thumb|591x591px]]
The Pz.III E despite its upgrades functions almost exactly the same as the previous B model, the armour and mobility are improved, but not to the point where these aspects are reliable, or warrant a change in play-style to take advantage of them. Because of the slow turret traverse and unimpressive firepower consider playing the E in a more passive role. You can't comfortably rush around the map using your extra mobility as if you push to the point where enemies could get on your sides, you'll likely be knocked out very quickly. The largest drawbacks the E model has are its armour, turret traverse and firepower, the firepower can't but buffed in any way but the negative effects of the armour and traverse can be somewhat negated by playing hull down and covering a narrow sight line. The turret armour can't be completely relied on but it is the most consistent, additionally if you take fire into the turret you'll likely only lose a couple of crew members, the E model has a fairly effective reverse rate, so you can easily retreat from combat, repair and reengage, you also have access to 5 rear drop smoke grenades to aid this purpose. Another advantage of covering a narrow sight line is that you don't really need to traverse your gun much to be able to fire on enemy vehicles.

If possible, try to remain somewhat sedentary, because the E lacks a short stop stabiliser, if you run into an enemy allied tank on the move, they will likely be able to level off their gun and fire at you first, and as the armour of the E is very inconsistent, you will likely be knocked out, if you stay somewhat still and wait in ambush you should be able to avoid this drawback. The E model works best at mid ranges, at long range the armour is effective but the gun isn't, whereas at close range the gun is effective but the armour isn't, at mid range you have the potential to maximise both. Aim to hide your hull and take a decent mix of APHE and APCR depending on the battle rating you're playing at. The E model isn't the most effective Panzer III, but if played in the right spot it can do a decent job.

=== Pros and cons ===

'''Pros:'''

* Very fast reload
* Access to APCR
* Decent overall mobility
* Immune from heavy machine gun fire

'''Cons:'''

* Very slow turret traverse
* Lackluster firepower
* Poor armour protection
* No short stabiliser
=== In-game description ===
The Pz.Kpfw. III Ausf. E was the first large-scale variant of this tank. The machine had a new torsion suspension design, and its wheels had a much larger diameter. This greatly simplified its manufacture and servicing. The construction of the hull was modified, slightly shortening the front and rear sections. Some design improvements were made to facilitate the crew's ability to evacuate when needed and to improve their field of view. The construction of the Kugelblende 30 machine gun's mantlet saw improvements, as well, and a small container of smoke bombs was affixed to the aft of the tank's hull. The more powerful Maibach HL120TR engine, with 300 horsepower, was installed, along with a mechanical Variorex SRG 328-145 transmission with ten forward gears and four reverse gears. These changes increased the tank's maximum speed and cross-country ability.

During the tank's single year of production, beginning in October 1938, the companies MAN, Deimler-Benz, Henschel, MIAG, Alket, Krupp, FAMO, Wegmann, and MNH produced about 100 specimens.
The Pz.Kpfw. III Ausf. E tank variant participated in every military operation which took place during the first stage of World War II.
This variant became the basis for all subsequent ones.

The tank's first combat experience was successful, and from 1940 to 1941 some of the tanks were outfitted with a 5cm KwK L/42 gun in a new cannon mantlet. Afterwards, the remaining Pz.Kpfw. III Ausf. E tanks were withdrawn from the front lines and converted into Pz.Beo.Wg. artillery spotters or repair and rescue vehicles.

On the whole, the Pz.Kpfw. III Ausf. E tank was reliable and easy to operate and provided a high level of crew comfort.
This tank's main disadvantage was that its armament was relatively weak for a medium tank.
