The Type 3 Chi-Nu is arguably Japan's first ''good'' medium tank with adequate protection, good firepower, and good mobility, all traits well known in the medium tank categories. The previous Japanese mediums suffer from underpowered guns or tiny caliber size, but the Chi-Nu's 75 mm gun is powerful enough to deal with its contemporaries. Play style with this medium tank can be played just like any medium tank, giving the Chi-Nu the flexibility to be part of an assault force or a flanking role to support the main assault.&lt;br /&gt;

The 75 mm gun on the Chi-Nu gives this tank a major firepower boost in comparison to the previous Japanese mediums. This tank can be played in a similar fashion to the Panzer IV F2. Using its good mobility and excellent gun, the Chi-Nu can hit enemies at medium/ long range from a position of cover, steadily advancing towards the enemy lines. The frontal armour is stronger than a Panzer IV F2 (same thickness, more slope), but is still weak and will not protect the Chi-Nu from most guns at BR 3.3. The side armour is particularly weak, so be careful of flank attacks. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The 75 mm gun can be more closely compared to the F-34 gun used by the T-34 when using the BR-350B round. It has high post penetration damage and just under 100 mm maximum penetration. However, no access to APCR or other high penetration rounds means the Chi-Nu is going to struggle fighting vehicles like the KV-1. These should be retreated from or flanked. Sherman tanks and T-34s may also present a problem from the front.&lt;br /&gt;

The Type 3 Chi-Nu has many adversaries that may be difficult to overcome, which is not helped by the tank's lacking ammo variety. The only piercing ammo available is the Type 1 APHE, which still has reasonable penetration and great explosive filler, but requires the knowledge of extremely specific weaknesses in order to take down certain foes. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Pretty much any heavy tank can give the Chi-Nu a run for its silver lions. The Chi-Nu cannot penetrate the '''KV-1 (L-11)''' from the front at all, and struggles against other vehicles like the '''A22 Churchill mk. I''' or '''A22(D) Churchill 3-inch Gun Carrier'''. The Churchill gun carrier has a small weak spot on the front of the tank - a viewport that can penetrated and one-shot the entire vehicle - but it is very difficult to hit, not to mention extremely dangerous. These tanks can be dealt with by shooting their sides, but that is not the case with the KV-1. In order to penetrate the KV-1 with the Chi-Nu, it is required to '''shoot the tank in the back of the turret ring.''' This incredibly specific weak spot - beneath the turret bustle on the back of the tank - is the ''only'' place where the Chi-Nu can penetrate the KV-1. Thankfully, shooting here results in a one-shot.&lt;br /&gt;

In Arcade Battles you should concentrate on killing tanks and pillboxes first (if any) with your bombs, and use your offensive machine guns to kill soft targets like armoured cars, artillery, howitzers and AA. In this mode, you won't need your air brakes since you can't break your wings and it's easy to pull up from a fast dive attack, and its recommended that you keep as much of your speed up from the dives so you are harder to intercept by enemy aircraft. Another viable option on maps with light vehicles is to stay at altitude, dive,&lt;br /&gt;
drop your 1000 kg bomb, and climb again, circling until you get another bomb. This work most effectively on maps with groups of armoured cars that are clustered, bot in a line. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
In Realistic Battles, you should keep your altitude, and look for tank columns to attack. Once you've chosen which tank column you wish to attack(I recommend some ground targets as far from the battlefield or enemy airfield as possible, so you are less likely to be intercepted) . Once you are right over your intended target, set your throttle to 0% and point your nose at the at the tank you want to destroy (since you have no bombsight, there will not be a bomb-drop indicator like in Arcade, and you will have to guess where the bombs will drop) once you are nearing your target, you will have to deploy your air-brakes or you won't be able to pull up at high speeds. (you can tell when you are reaching a high speed with the sounds that the air and wings make) Once you drop your bomb(s) point your nose up to pull up. At this point you may or may not have killed your intended target, but it is OK if you didn't you will get better at it with more practice, but you still have your offensive armament to kill soft targets like AA or you can engage enemy fighters that are nearby (which is very likely). &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Dog fighting the RB with Ju87 is a very difficult task if the enemy knows your advantages and disadvantages and uses them to his advantage. I recommend that you avoid doing head-on attacks a much as possible, for you don't have the armament to risk it. I also recommend that you stay low and slow in a combat situation with enemy aircraft(because bad control ability at high speeds ) and try to get the enemy to engage in a turn fight. If he falls for your turn fight, you should end up on his 6 o'clock in 3-5 turns on most enemies, it really depends on if its a British, American or Russian plane, British being generally the better turn fighter. If he doesn't fall for your turn fight, you are most likely going to go down...this plane is not a fighter plane.&lt;br /&gt;

When returning to base landing and takeoff is simple, and use of the air brakes will help if you came in to fast to land. But you may be coming back on a dead or damaged engine (The Ju87s engine is prone to damage and overheat)and it would help if you find the nearest friendly airfield and get there as soon as possible.&lt;br /&gt;

Because of their low speed, permanent landing gear and reasonable durability, all the Ju 87 are quite good for capturing airfields in the Airfield Domination mode.&lt;br /&gt;

In ground RBs, the Ju 87 R-2 has a great advantage: the large 1000 kg bomb. Almost all enemy tanks at a similiar BR won't survive such an explosion, or they will have critical damages for sure. Remember to set the time fuze at 3 seconds: if longer the enemy may escape, if shorter your plane might be damaged by the explosion as well. Follow all the instructions you have for RBs, and return to the airfield asap because with the slow speed, the Ju 87 is a perfect target for AA vehicles.&lt;br /&gt;

The offensive weapons are equal to the [[Bf 109 E-3]] with one exception: the nose-mounted machine guns have half the ammo. While this seems to be a drawback for the He 112, it really is not. With 500 rounds per gun, the Heinkel will not run out of ammo any time soon and their effectiveness against ''Battle of Britain'' aircraft is limited.&lt;br /&gt;

The [[MG 17 (7.92 mm)|MG 17's]] major advantage comes in handy for adjusting shots at long range. The 7.92 mm bullet has better bullet ballistics than the [[MG FF (20 mm)|20 mm MG FF]], but they can still be used for predicting the bullet drop of the 20 mm cannon shells. Keep in mind that the MG 17's successor, the 13 mm [[MG 131 (13 mm)|MG 131]], has the ''same'' ballistics as the MG 17; a decision made in real life to allow pilots to immediately use the new MG without having to adjust for a change bullet behaviour.&lt;br /&gt;

On paper, the He 112 B-0 appears to be quite well armed, having two machine guns and two MG FF cannons. However, the cannons are quite underwhelming, especially with the ''Air targets'' belt. Many of the belts rounds seem to explode on the surface of enemy aircraft, damaging external features such as control surfaces, but doing very little internal damage. Sometimes, multiple hits can be placed on an aircraft with little or no effect. It is best to aim for flaps, particularly ailerons and elevators. This means that if an aircraft can't be knocked out of the sky, it can be forced to crash due to loss of control.&lt;br /&gt;

The first customer was the Empire of Japan, ordering of 30 He 112 B in 1938. The aircraft were however not used in combat due to their insufficient agility (compared to Japanese fighters) and ended their short career as trainers. Twelve He 112 B’s were sent to Spain, where they were used operationally in small numbers during the last weeks of the Spanish Civil War, and remained in service after the war ended. Notable usage passed the Civil War in Spain was from the 3rd of March 1943, when a single He 112 B managed to damage an American Lockheed [[P-38G-1|P-38 Lightning]] fighter. Spain eventually used its He 112's up until the 1950s. The two largest operators of the He 112 were Hungary and Romania – [[He 112 B-1/U2]] and [[He 112 B-2/U2]] both in their respective markings of the two countries are available in War Thunder as premium planes. Hungarian He 112's saw limited service and probably all of them were destroyed during the Allied bombing raids in 1944, while Romanian Heinkels saw some limited air combat in the opening stages of Operation Barbarossa, where they were used for ground attack missions and ended their career as training planes.&lt;br /&gt;

Ernst Heinkel continued to improve his fighter. The He 112 was drastically redesigned. It was actually a new aircraft, although the former designation was retained. The He 112 V9 prototype, which later became the main aircraft of the He 112 B-0 preproduction batch, even differed from its predecessors in external appearance. Its wingspan was reduced and its total fuselage length increased. The shape of the tailplane and the fin was completely changed, and the rudder area was noticeably enlarged. A bubble canopy was installed in the rear section of the cockpit instead of the fuselage spine fairing, and the cockpit itself obtained a sliding section and became completely closable.&lt;br /&gt;

With all performance characteristics considered, the He 112 B-0 looked better than the Bf 109's early versions. But the Messerschmitt had already been launched into full-scale production by that time, and it was cheaper, simpler, and easier to produce than the He 112. Heinkel realized that the He 112 would probably never be accepted for service with the Luftwaffe, so he put special emphasis on obtaining export orders for his fighter. Japan was the first to take an interest in the He 112. In early 1938, four fighters of the He 112 B-0 variant were added to the arsenal of the Imperial Japanese Navy. A total of 12 He 112 B-0 machines were delivered to Japan during the coming years. These aircraft, unlike the first He 112 A-0 preproduction machines, were accepted for service with the Navy under the same designation, the A7He1 Carrier Fighter, but they never participated in any combat operations and were mainly in service with training units.&lt;br /&gt;

The ZiS-30 is the second Soviet tank destroyer on the Soviet tech tree. The highlight of this tank destroyer is its ridiculously powerful gun for its rank, which is capable of destroying most tanks of a similar rank in one shot. The ZIS-30 serves mainly in a support role, firing from the rear of the line at spotted targets. Despite this, the ZIS-30 can feasibly serve as a lone sniper or a hit-and-run vehicle, due to its powerful gun and impressive speed. Although the ZIS-30 is a powerhouse in terms of speed and firepower, it is quite fragile and can easily be taken out by enemy tanks. Due to the near nonexistent armour of the ZIS-30, the crew is extremely prone to damage and it takes very few shots to knock them out. A proven tactic is to fire at preoccupied enemies so that they cannot react fast enough to fire back. Often it helps to set up an ambush position on a ridge and wait for the enemy to enter your line of fire. After taking several shots (2-4), it is advised that a new position be found, as other enemies may have noticed you by that time.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The ZiS-30 possesses three main advantages – small dimensions, great speed and manoeuvrability, and a fantastic gun for its rank. With its good top speed and acceleration, it can move very quickly across the map. It is also comparatively a very small vehicle, so it can be a very hard target to hit especially at long range. Its gun has virtually no problems when penetrating anything on the given BR spread (eg. 2.3-3.3) and features a (relatively) fast rate of fire and flat trajectory, making the vehicle a suitable long range sniper. As the gun is mounted onto the roof, the vehicle has a reasonably tall profile. This is both an advantage and disadvantage – it compromises your cover which allows you to be spotted easier, but at the same time, you can shoot over lower obstacles while exposing only the gun shield.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Obviously, there are disadvantages as well. The gun’s recoil is rather strong for the small chassis and the sway is large enough to cause you to lose track of your target, hence requiring realignment every time you take the shot. The vehicle also carries a very small ammunition supply. Most importantly, however, the vehicle’s armour is practically nonexistent and even armour piercing rounds from rifle calibre machine guns can pierce your frontal armour at close range. The crew of the gun are protected only by the gun shield. Otherwise, it’s exposed and thus very vulnerable. However, many armour piercing rounds will just pass through the gun shield without detonating, significantly reducing the damage. That being said, it is advised to use HE rounds when facing the ZiS-30.&lt;br /&gt;

Given its advantages and disadvantages, the ZiS-30’s performs best when used as a highly mobile, long range sniper. Race to a position using your speed and then conceal your fragile hull and then wait for the enemy to stumble in your sights. In RB, planes become a big threat as the game goes on. Even light machine guns are a threat, and at BR 2.3 planes start getting heavier cannons and various payloads, which will tear you apart, while the ZIS-30 rarely has any AA armaents. Therefore, it is best to remain hidden in dense vegetation or among rocks or buildings to keep you safe. However at the initial part of a game the player is usually safe, as the enemy is unlikely to have enough SP to spawn with an aircraft. &lt;br /&gt;

During the first weeks of Operation Barbarossa in 1941, the Soviet armoured forces suffered crushing losses at the hands of the well organised German army. As the number of Soviet armoured vehicles rapidly decreased, Soviet representatives searched for ways to compensate for the losses with easily produced vehicles. As a result, an order for the quick development of improvised self-propelled anti-tank guns was issued in July 1941 as a means of providing the Red Army cheap and easy-to-produce anti-tank weapons. The schedule was extremely tight, allowing only two weeks for development.&lt;br /&gt;

In response to this, the design bureau in No.92 Factory, led by P. F. Muravyev, developed a light anti-tank destroyer using the chassis of the Komsomolets tracked artillery tractor, propelled by a 4-cylinder GAZ-M automobile engine which produced 50 horsepower and top speeds of up to 47.5 km/h (29.5 mph). The process of refitting the vehicle was simple: the chassis and the hull remained unchanged, while the armament, the 57 mm ZiS-2 anti-tank gun, was simply mounted atop the vehicle. The crew consisted of four men, the commander/gunner, loader, driver and machine gunner manning the hull-mounted machine gun. The situation was so dire, that mass production was launched on September 21, 1941, and by October 15, 100 vehicles designated as the '''ZiS-30''' were produced, a mere three months after the order to develop the vehicle was given, making it perhaps one of the fastest designed vehicles in the world.&lt;br /&gt;

The LS3 is one of the better reserve vessels, with a fairly flexible main armament, providing a 360-degree firing arc without any elevation limitations owing to its elevated position. While it only possesses a single gun, it is capable of hitting well above its weight class when used correctly. Because of its small size and similarly small crew complement, it is recommended to not engage in direct confrontations against large surface combatants, especially at range. Its single autocannon is difficult to land hits at moving targets at range, and its small size makes medium calibre AA guns incredibly deadly against the LS 3. Vessels like the 80 ft Nasty and later R-boats are to be avoided due to the presence of a large autocannon. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
What it lacks in the protection area it makes up in mobility. The LS 3 is second to only the G-5 in terms of speed. This in tandem with its incredibly tight turning circle and slim profile, makes the LS 3 very well suited for flanking capture points. Use its speed to sneak in to capture points and rush at vessels that may be occupying it. Its high top speed also makes it useful to rush cap points at the beginning of a match. That being said, be careful not to overextend, or you will find yourself overwhelmed very quickly. Instead, use its superior speed to be the first to reach a capture point, and hide behind an island, selectively engaging enemies that come into the line of sight or attempt to contest the point.&lt;br /&gt;

Trigger discipline is absolutely necessary when sailing the LS 3, as the gun can overheat to offset its high ammo capacity. Avoid firing in more than 2-second bursts when engaging at the effective range, and be sure to watch the gun heat when engaging at close range. In the event of an overheat, you will have to load the gun again, costing time which is crucial in the knife fights this vessel is best suited for. To maximize the chance of a kill in a single burst, be sure to rake up and down the entire length of an enemy vessel if it shows its broadside. This is advisable in any PT boat, but especially to the LS 3 due to the gun overheating. Use universal belts for the high explosive rounds.&lt;br /&gt;
