U84248006: I've edited the image of the Machine gun as it showed the 25mm Type 96 on Type K-8 1944, So I just changed the ship to Kiyoshimo and the Anti Air gun to the one mounted ontop of a turret

== History ==


The {{PAGENAME}} was a license-built French Hotchkiss M1929 heavy machine gun which saw wide use with Japanese forces. First licensed units were manufactured in 1935, reaching 1,500 units a month by 1944. Type 93 saw extremely wide use in Imperial Japanese Navy but was also used by the Imperial Army as a stand-alone heavy machine gun (primarily in anti-aircraft emplacements) or equipped on vehicles, such as Type 92 Tankettes.

The gun had a total length of 1.4 m and an empty weight of 42 kg. Magazine of only 30 rounds firing at 450 rpm allowed for a continuous fire of 4 seconds before the gun had to be reloaded. The maximum vertical range of the weapon was 4,000 meters or 6,000 meters when aimed at a 45° angle.

Four primary types of ammunition were used: Armor-piercing, Incendiary, Tracer and Exercise.
