{{Break}}
The '''{{Specs|name}}''' is a rank {{Specs|rank}} Swedish tank destroyer {{Battle-rating}}. It was introduced in [[Update 1.97 "Viking Fury"]].

== General info ==
=== Survivability and armour ===
<!-- ''Describe armour protection. Note the most well protected and key weak areas. Appreciate the layout of modules as well as the number and location of crew members. Is the level of armour protection sufficient, is the placement of modules helpful for survival in combat? If necessary use a visual template to indicate the most secure and weak zones of the armour.'' -->
The Pvkv II shares the same hull as the [[Strv m/41 S-II|Strv m/41]], and thus the hull armour is identical. While adequate for the light tank, the armour is no longer sufficient against the considerably greater firepower that the Pvkv II faces.

It also features a massive open-top turret that is very thinly armoured and very vulnerable to even heavy machine guns. The turret, and vehicle in general, is rather cramped, thus a penetrating hit usually results in critical damage to multiple modules and crew members.

Aircraft are also a very dangerous threat, as even light machine guns will shred the crew through the open roof.

=== Mobility ===
<!-- ''Write about the mobility of the ground vehicle. Estimate the specific power and manoeuvrability, as well as the maximum speed forwards and backwards.'' -->

{{tankMobility|abMinHp= 234|rbMinHp= 146}}

Being based on the Strv m/41, the Pvkv II's mobility is somewhat poorer due to the massive turret and heavy gun mounted. The reverse speed is also quite poor, at ony 5 km/h. It is thus a relatively clumsy and unwieldy vehicle to drive.

Due to the relatively high center of gravity, care must also be taken not to allow the vehicle to roll over onto its side when driving on slopes or making turns.

== Armaments ==
=== Main armament ===
<!-- ''Give the reader information about the characteristics of the main gun. Assess its effectiveness in a battle based on the reloading speed, ballistics and the power of shells. Do not forget about the flexibility of the fire, that is how quickly the cannon can be aimed at the target, open fire on it and aim at another enemy. Add a link to the main article on the gun: <code><nowiki>{{main|Name of the weapon}}</nowiki></code>. Describe in general terms the ammunition available for the main gun. Give advice on how to use them and how to fill the ammunition storage.'' -->
{{main|Lvkan m/37 A (75 mm)}}

The Pvkv II mounts a '''7,5 cm lvkan m/37 A''' anti-aircraft gun modified for the anti-tank role. This gun is quite powerful but has a very low rate-of-fire for its calibre, likely due to the rather cramped nature of the vehicle. The gun mounting is angled downwards, allowing for an excellent 14° of gun depression, though the gun elevation is limited to only 17°. The turret allows for full 360° traverse.

The gun starts with the very mediocre '''slpprj m/41''' uncapped AP shot that has good penetration but tends to ricochet and has rather anaemic post-penetration effects. The gun only starts to really shine once the Tier IV '''slpgr m/43''' APCBC shell is unlocked. With this shell, the Pvkv II gains even better penetration than the [[Delat Torn]] and [[Pvkv m/43 (1946)|Pvkv m/43]]. The APCBC shell also has a highly lethal 110 g TNT filler.

The gunsight has a considerable amount of magnification, making aiming at long range targets much easier.
The Pvkv II is a classical tank destroyer that does best in a good hull-down position where it can snipe at long range. The combination of great gun depression and a fully rotating turret allow for considerably more flexibility than conventional casemate tank destroyers. However, it is a very fragile vehicle, especially to air attacks, and it must be played carefully accordingly. It is especially well-suited to long-range fights due to a combination of a powerful high-velocity gun and good optics, as well as the inherent fragility of the vehicle.
The '''{{Specs|name}}''' is a rank {{Specs|rank}} Swedish tank destroyer {{Battle-rating}}. It was introduced in [[Update 1.97 "Viking Fury"]].

== General info ==
=== Survivability and armour ===
Survivability is bad. It's most likely that you won't survive more than one hit. Additionally, if your driver gets taken out, or even worse, your engine or transmission is damaged, you can only shoot in a small area in front of the tank due to the turretless design. Your frontal armour has a maximum effective thickness of around 80 mm of rolled homogeneous armour, which won't save you at this br. On the side, you have 30 mm maximum protection, and on the rear 25 mm. Hull armour is exactly the same as the [[Strv m/42 EH]], since they both share the same hull. Also, because the vehicle is open top, you're very vulnerable to aircraft. Even 7 mm MGs can destroy you in one or two bursts.

=== Mobility ===
<!-- ''Write about the mobility of the ground vehicle. Estimate the specific power and manoeuvrability, as well as the maximum speed forwards and backwards.'' -->

{{tankMobility|abMinHp=582|rbMinHp=363}}

The mobility of the Pvkv m/43 (1946) is nearly identical to the [[Strv m/42 EH]]. Driving forward, it can easily reach 40 km/h, even on rough terrain, so you will likely be one of the first vehicles at the cap. While shining when moving forward, the tank destroyer is painfully slow in reverse, with a maximum of 5 km/h.

== Armaments ==
=== Main armament ===
The main gun is the 75mm pvkan m/43 cannon. While having excellent penetration and speed values, the reload is, considering the caliber and the open top, pretty long at 8.7 seconds with unskilled crew. For example, the German 75mm guns only have about 6.5 seconds. The tank destroyer has no turret, it can only move the gun 33° in Front of the tank. The gun depression of 14° is excellent, however the elevation of 20° is only below average.

The stock shell is the '''slpprj m/41''' uncapped AP shot with decent penetration, but poor post-penetration values. Also, it tends to riccochet. Once you unlock the '''slpgr m/43''' APCBC shell, which is unfortunately a Tier IV modifikation, you have almost the best gun at its Br. The shell is the same as used from the Pvkv II, tho it has slightly less penetration than the Pvkv II, because of the lower muzzle velocity, at 890 vs 940 m/s. Tho its a bit slower, with 149 mm at point black range, you won't have problems destroying any tank you can face. Also the shell does high post penetration damage, because of the 110g TNT filler.

The gunsight has an excellent magnification of 8x-16x, which is amazing! Most opponent will have around 1.5x-3x.<!-- ''Give the reader information about the characteristics of the main gun. Assess its effectiveness in a battle based on the reloading speed, ballistics and the power of shells.
'''Pros:'''

* Excellent gun for its BR
* Very effective ABCBC round with high velocity and amount of explosive filler
* High magnification of x8.0-x16.1 - most tanks at the battle rating only have x1.5-x3.0
* Very good gun depression
* Machine gun can elevate to 90° and has a high ammo capacity of 2,000 rounds
* Decent mobility

'''Cons:'''

* Turretless design
* Low survivability
* Poor reverse gear
* Machine gun performs poorly against lightly armoured vehicles and aircraft
* Low versatility
* Long reload

During World War 2, the need for tank destroyers became evident, and Germany had great success with the [[StuG III G|StuG III]] and StuG IV. Because of the success of those platforms, Sweden decided to create a tank destroyer similar in concept to the StuG's. Landsverk created a design in 1942, based on the chassis of the [[Strv m/42 EH|Strv m/42]]. It was chosen by the Swedish military and was given the designation Pansarvärnskanonvagn m/43, or '''Pvkv m/43''' for short.

The Pvkv m/43 used the chassis of the Strv m/42, but with a casemate superstructure replacing the turret. The superstructure was located at the front of the vehicle, and the glacis was sloped. It had an open tarp to keep the weight down, and used a tarp to protect the crew from the elements. The Pvkv m/43 had a crew of 4, and was initially armed with a 75mm luftvärnskanonen m/36 antiaircraft gun, modified with a longer barrel for increased armour penetration. The gun could traverse 15 degrees to the left and right. It had a Ksp m/39 machine gun as the secondary armament. It was powered by a Volvo A8B engine producing 360 hp. The gearbox was different than the gearbox of the Strv m/42, and the drive wheels had to be reinforced to handle the increased weight of the vehicle. The Swedish military ordered 87 Pvkv m/43 in 1942, but deliveries were delayed and the last vehicle was delivered in 1948.

In 1954, the vehicle was given an armoured roof to better protect the crew. Other improvements included a muzzle break, a gun rest, and a gas ejector. The Strv m/41 was retired from service in 1957, which allowed the two Scania-Vabis L603 engines per vehicle to be used in the Pvkv m/43. The two L603 engines produced less horsepower (320 hp) than the Volvo A8B, but were much more reliable. In 1970, the Pvkv m/43 was retired from service, and the guns were used in static fortifications until 1995.
{{Break}}
The '''{{Specs|name}}''' is a rank {{Specs|rank}} Swedish tank destroyer {{Battle-rating}}. It was introduced in [[Update 1.97 "Viking Fury"]].

== General info ==
=== Survivability and armour ===

=== Mobility ===
The mobility of the Pansarvärnskanonvagn m/43 1946 is nearly identical to the Strv m/42 EH. Driving forward, it can easily reach 40 kp/h, even on rough terrain, so you will be one of the fastest vehicles at the cap. While shining when moving forward, the tank destroyer is painfully slow in reverse, with 5 kp/h. <!-- ''Write about the mobility of the ground vehicle. Estimate the specific power and manoeuvrability, as well as the maximum speed forwards and backwards.'' -->

The Pvkv m/43 had a crew of 4, and was initially armed with a 75mm luftvärnskanonen m/36 antiaircraft gun, modified with a longer barrel for increased armor penetration.

In 1954, the vehicle was given an armored roof to better protect the crew.
The '''{{Specs|name}}''' is a rank {{Specs|rank}} Swedish tank destroyer {{Battle-rating}}. It was introduced in [[Update 1.97 "Viking Fury"]].
== General info ==
=== Survivability and armour ===
<!-- ''Describe armour protection. Note the most well protected and key weak areas. Appreciate the layout of modules as well as the number and location of crew members.
It had an open tarp to keep the weight down, and used a tarp to protect the crew from the elements. The Pvkv m/43 had a crew of 4, and was initially armed with a 75mm luftvärnskanonen m/36 antiaircraft gun, modified with a longer barrel for increased armor penetration.

In 1954, the vehicle was given an armored roof to better protect the crew.
{{Break}}
The '''{{Specs|name}}''' is a rank {{Specs|rank}} Swedish tank destroyer {{Battle-rating}}. It was introduced in [[Update 1.97 "Viking Fury"]].

== General info ==
=== Survivability and armour ===

=== Mobility ===
<!-- ''Write about the mobility of the ground vehicle. Estimate the specific power and manoeuvrability, as well as the maximum speed forwards and backwards.'' -->
{{tankMobility|abMinHp= 582|rbMinHp= 363}}

== Armaments ==
=== Main armament ===
''Give the reader information about the characteristics of the main gun. Advise about how to use them and how to fill the ammunition storage.''

=== Additional armament ===
''Some tanks are armed with several guns in one or more turrets. Evaluate the additional weaponry and give advice on its use. Describe the ammunition available for additional weaponry. Give advice on about how to use them and how to fill the ammunition storage. If there is no additional weaponry remove this subsection.''

=== Machine guns ===
''Offensive and anti-aircraft machine guns not only allow you to fight some aircraft but also are effective against lightly armoured vehicles. Evaluate machine guns and give recommendations on its use.''

== Usage in battles ==
''Describe the tactics of playing in the vehicle, the features of using vehicles in the team and advice on tactics. Refrain from creating a "guide" - do not impose a single point of view but instead give the reader food for thought. Describe the most dangerous enemies and give recommendations on fighting them. If necessary, note the specifics of the game in different modes (AB, RB, SB).''

=== Pros and cons ===
''Summarise and briefly evaluate the vehicle in terms of its characteristics and combat effectiveness. Mark its pros and cons in a bulleted list. Try not to use more than 6 points for each of the characteristics. Avoid using categorical definitions such as "bad", "good" and the like - use substitutions with softer forms such as "inadequate" and "effective".''

'''Pros:'''

Excellent gun for its Br

Perfect ABCBC Round which oneshots everything due to the high amount of explosive filler and high velocity

Extremely good magnification of x8.0-x16.1 -Most tanks on it's Br only have x1.5-x3.0

Very good gun depression

Machine gun can elevate to 90° and has a high ammo capacity of 2.000 rounds

Decent mobility

*

'''Cons:'''

Turretless Design

Low Survivability

Poor Reverse gear

Machine gun performs bad against lightly armoured vehicles and aircrafts

The Pvkv m/43 had a crew of 4, and was initially armed with a 75mm luftvärnskanonen m/36 antiaircraft gun, modified with a longer barrel for increased armor penetration.

In 1954, the vehicle was given an armored roof to better protect the crew.
=== Survivability and armour ===
''Survivability is bad. It's most likely, thst you won't survive more than one hit. Aditional, if your driver gets taken out, or, even worse, your engine or transmission is damaged, you can only shoot in a small area in front of the tank. Your frontal armour has a maximum effective thiccness of around 80mm of rolled homogeneous armour. On the side, you have 30mm maximum protection, and on the rear 25mm. Hull armour is exactly the same as the Strv m/42, cause they both share the same hull. Also, because the vehicle is open top, you're very vulnerable to aircraft cannons. Even 7mm's can destroy you in one or two burstes of their MGs.''
