The HMS Belfast comes with 12 x Ordnance BL 6 inch (152 mm) Mk XXIII naval guns, in four triple turrets.   These turrets are housed in an A-B-X-Y layout, with two at each end, one superfiring over the other.  This gives Belfast a broadside of 12 guns, and a forward and rear salvo of 6.  These guns reload at a maximum of 8 RPM, giving her 96 RPM on a broadside, with a fully upgraded crew.  The WW2-era British 6&amp;quot; comes with four shells; HE, SAP, HE-TF (timed-fuse HE) and HE-VT (variable proximity fuzed HE).  The HE-VT fills the roles of both HE and HE-TF simultaneously, detonating on impact like HE but also proximity fuzing on aircraft.  The SAP is the sole round capable of penetrating armour, with excellent filler but relatively low penetration.  Against destroyers and earlier light cruisers, HE should be used.  Against the armoured portions of cruisers, or 5.7 cruisers in general, SAP should be used.  Against battleships, your best hope is that they don't notice you, as even the SAP will not reliably penetrate them.  Belfast has so many rounds that you'll never run out of either, but a 50:50 ratio is a good place to start.&lt;br /&gt;

HMS Belfast is a very strong cruiser and gives you the ability to fight other cruisers very effectively. However, there are very dangerous cruisers which should be your main priority to kill. These cruisers are the [[USS Brooklyn (CL-40)]] and [[USS Helena (CL-50)]]. These cruisers can fire 15 shells each salvo and do significant damage to your ship. So when starting a match, make sure you try and disable or destroy these cruisers as soon as possible.&lt;br /&gt;

A typical cruiser game starts very slow. You and your teammates are spawning in the back and far away from the light fleet. As a cruiser, you need your light fleet because they can cap and win the game. As a cruiser, a lot of places on the map are not accessible. Your ship has a draught of 17 feet 3 inches (5.3 m) so you can't go anywhere you want. Your main goal is to achieve supremacy over the other team in terms of cruiser and destroyer power. Destroyers are very vulnerable against other cruisers so your main goal is to fight these cruisers. Destroyers should help the patrol boats with capping and getting an advantage. When destroying other cruisers, make sure your destroyer can fulfil this role. This also means that when the majority of the enemy cruisers are destroyed, you should be focusing on shooting down enemy destroyers. This increases the chance of the survivability of a small fleet to capture the points. Don't be that cruiser captain that is desperate to kill another cruiser that is far away from your fleet and far away from a capture point. The fleet needs you because you can tank a lot of shots. Stick with your team, make sure that they don't need to worry about big guns so you achieve a victory.&lt;br /&gt;

HMS Belfast (C35) was a Town-class cruiser of the Royal Navy built just before the Second World War. Designed as a counter to the Japanese [[Mogami (Family)|Mogami]] class, Belfast carried a substantial main armament and had an improved anti-aircraft armament compared to the previous Town-class cruisers. Belfast had a storied service career, almost sunk by a naval mine in 1939 but returned to service later in the Second World War after a three-year refit.  This upgrade resulted in her being the heaviest and best armoured of all the Town-class cruisers.  She served in the Arctic theatre, where she escorted convoys and assisted in the destruction of the battleship Scharnhorst. Belfast later participated in the Korean War and received numerous refits to her armament and sensors. She was retired in 1963, and is now a museum ship moored on the Thames in London, UK.&lt;br /&gt;

As such, they designed a new class of light cruiser, which would become the Town class, named after various towns and cities in the United Kingdom. A total of three subclasses would be designed - the [[HMS Southampton|Southampton]], Gloucester and Edinburgh subclasses. Belfast was the second of two Edinburgh - class cruisers, the other being HMS Edinburgh herself. Compared to the other Towns, they had a longer hull, which was intended to house a new quadruple turret allowing for a total of sixteen main guns. However, this idea was eventually shelved due to difficulties in producing an effective turret. As a result, Belfast retained the twelve-gun main armament scheme of the previous Towns, but carried an additional pair of 4-inch dual AA guns as well as several more 40 mm Pom Pom guns.&lt;br /&gt;

After her commissioning on August 5th 1939, Belfast joined the Home Fleet, and was soon involved with the naval blockade of Germany following the start of the Second World War. She intercepted two German blockade runners, earning her crew members a substantial amount of prize money. However, on November 10th 1939, Belfast struck a mine during exercises in the Firth of Forth. The explosion killed one crewmember and wounded 20, and caused serious damage to the ship itself. Most importantly, her keel had been severely damaged and bent upwards. The massive repairs would take almost two and a half years to complete; during this time, Belfast had her anti-aircraft armament strengthened with 18 20 mm Oerlikon cannons, and received additional armour plating.&lt;br /&gt;

Following her recommissioning in November of 1942, Belfast was made the Flagship of the 10th Cruiser Squadron, tasked with escorting Arctic convoys to the Soviet Union. In 1944, Belfast participated in the D-Day landings, providing artillery support at Gold and Juno beaches. She received a refit in April of 1945, with two of her dual 4-inch turrets removed in exchange for more anti-aircraft guns and advanced radar systems. She sailed to the Pacific to join the British Pacific Fleet, and was serving as the flagship of the British 2nd Cruiser Squadron when the Japanese surrendered. After the war, Belfast remained in the Pacific with the British Far East squadron at Hong Kong, and was visiting Hakodate, Japan when the Korean War broke out.&lt;br /&gt;

On Trafalgar Day, October 21st 1971, she was formally opened to the public; she was purchased by the Imperial War Museum in 1978, and remains a museum ship today, anchored on the Thames in London near Tower Bridge.&lt;br /&gt;

The Enterprise is one of the first British cruisers, and should get players used to the rest of the British cruisers. The Enterprise boasts a fantastic AA battery, good speed and turning, an adequate main battery, and poor armour.&lt;br /&gt;

The main guns on the Enterprise have their pros and cons. It comes with 7 guns total, spread out over a dual-gun turret at the bow, and 5 other cannons across the ship. It can bring 6 to a broadside, which isn't a huge amount, but its 7 rounds/per minute RoF can be deadly to other cruisers, and can often be underestimated. The WW1-era guns have high amounts of HE per shell, meaning that despite their fire rate, they remain competitive with their newer relatives.  Also, because of how the guns are spread out, knocking them out can be a challenge for enemy ships, who are often used to firing at the bow turrets. The guns also have good muzzle velocity, making them decent at long range, and the SAPBC shells have surprisingly good penetration. At close range, you can even punch through heavy cruiser armour.  As with all cruisers, staying well away from battleships except to launch torpedoes is advised, as the SAP is incapable of penetrating them outside of small weakspots, while they can shoot straight through you.&lt;br /&gt;

HMS Enterprise (D52) was one of two ''Emerald''-class cruisers built for the Royal Navy at the end of the First World War.  The ''Emerald''-class cruisers were designed as a successor to the ''Danae''-class with greater speed and forward firepower.  In this they succeeded, being 33 knots to the old ships' 29 and with three guns firing forward to their two.  Their larger displacement also bought significantly greater range for patrol duty.  Though successful, this came at a cost; ''Emerald'' was over 50% larger than ''Danae'' and had twice the horsepower, making the ships vastly more expensive to build.  ''Enterprise'' was completed too late to see service during the First World War, but served extensively in the East Indies during the interwar period. The {{PAGENAME}} is a fairly weak vehicle in terms of survivability, in Realistic. It features no meaningful protection from any angle, with only 10 mm of armour protecting the front of the hull and 16 mm of effective armour protecting the gunner. This armour is superficial really, as even heavy machine guns will have no trouble getting through the armour of the vehicle, and seeing as it's only manned by two crew, a shot through the flat armour of the drivers port will easily knock the vehicle out of action. Additionally as it's open-topped, it's very vulnerable from the air, and the gun can't angle directly upwards, meaning the gun shield can't be used to protect against enemy aircraft. This vehicle may survive a poorly placed shot, but most of the time the armour is not in any way reliable.&lt;br /&gt;

The mobility and speed of the {{PAGENAME}} is fairly effective, it won't outpace many enemy light vehicles around this battle rating but it is fast enough to get where it needs to be in the map without much trouble. Off-road it can cruise at a max of 54 / 38 km/h (AB/RB), making it one of the fastest Swedish ground vehicles at its rank. It can change direction and manoeuvre well enough, and has a reverse speed of -6 km/h, which isn't vastly impressive, but is enough to occasionally get the vehicle out of trouble. However, as the engine is fairly weak it will struggle to climb steep hills, so try to approach these obstacles at an angle to increase the friction on the tracks.&lt;br /&gt;

Despite being classed as an SPAA vehicle, it truly excels at fighting ground vehicles. The lack of elevation for the cannon makes engaging aircraft tricky and sometimes impossible if the map is quite flat, as to engage aircraft this vehicle needs to be positioned on high ground or at an angle on the terrain. In general, it's not recommended to attempt to engage aircraft unless the player is confident that the plane can be taken out in one burst, as if an enemy aircraft notices the {{PAGENAME}}, they'll also likely know the {{PAGENAME}}'s flaw of being unable to elevate the gun very high, so they will simply dive right down on top of the vehicle to strafe out the crew, which is a fairly easy task as from the top the crew have no protection. &lt;br /&gt;

As this vehicle has very little ammunition, engaging ground vehicles allows the {{PAGENAME}} to potentially maximise its shots on target. Engaging aircraft usually results in lots of missed shots, which largely isn't too much of a problem generally for SPAA as they're usually equipped with lots of ammunition, but as this vehicle isn't, all shots need to count, and as such leading shots on ground targets is much more consistent that it is the recommended way to play.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
At close range, the AP belt will be able to deal with most enemy vehicles easily, though it will struggle with some French vehicles such as the [[B1 bis]], [[S.35]], and even some of the reserve vehicles. It's important to know the enemy and only engage if absolutely certain the gun can cause critical damage. Don't waste shots and avoid being destroyed, so learning the general armour layout of the enemies is an important factor here. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Aim to play around close-range sight-lines if possible, in these locations, shots will be easier to aim and the 20 mm rounds will have more penetration which is important to consider as their penetration performance drops off considerably at distances, at 500 m the shots can only cut through 30 mm of flat armour which isn't enough to deal with most enemies quickly if at all. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Luckily, as this vehicle is quite small, it's fairly easy to slip around the map unnoticed, and allows the {{PAGENAME}} to be able to hide in nooks and corners to ambush the enemy. Waiting in ambush at close range, around a cap or watching a corner, is the safest, most consistent way to play the {{PAGENAME}}. Although if confident, the {{PAGENAME}} can simply drive around in a manner similar to that of a conventional tank by spraying enemies down with the autocannon at close range without necessarily aiming, as it's quite likely the gunfire will disable them before the can fire back. Playing this way is certainly possible, but due to how weak this vehicle is, it's only recommend if the {{PAGENAME}} player is very confident and have the vehicle fully upgraded. Do also be mindful of playing around very combat heavy areas, as these locations are commonly rife with artillery fire which this vehicle is hugely weak to, so aim to engage at close-range still, but try to avoid the bulk of combat, utilise side roads and pathways out of the way to creep up to enemies on their sides. Additionally, if possible, try to play close to friendly capture points, as the {{PAGENAME}} can use them to replenish its ammo supply which will be vital in long matches.&lt;br /&gt;

Although a highly successful and popular fighter, by 1940 the Hurricane Mk I was already showing itself to be inferior to enemy fighters such as the Messerschmitt 109. Experience from the Battle of Britain had also proved that the Hurricane’s rifle-calibre 0.303 machine guns were inferior to larger calibre weapons being operated by enemy aircraft. &lt;br /&gt;

Right after Hitler invaded the Soviet Union in June 1941, Britain offered immediate assistance and send a wing with two Hurricane equipped squadrons to Murmansk in September. The Brits were happily welcomed near the front-line by their Russian Hosts. Flt Lt. Most combats between Soviet and German fighters in 1941-42 began with a head-on formation attack. Usually, a ‘defensive circle’ would then be formed in which pilots would protect the tail of the aircraft flying in front of them. In a defensive circle, the parameters of maximum speed and rate of climb had no practical significance, which nullified the advantages of the Luftwaffe fighters. Firepower was often the decisive factor, and the Hurricane in Soviet service had no equal in this respect. The Sov,iet Hurricane, with its two 20 mm ShVAK guns and two 12.7 mm large calibre UBK machine guns producing a weight of fire of 3.84 kg (8.45 lb) per second, surpassed not only all single-engine Soviet fighters but also its German opponents. The Bf 109 F, armed with just one 20 mm MG 151 cannon and two 7.92 mm MG 17 machine guns, produced a weight of fire of 1.99 kg (4.38 lbs) per second. Consequently, its pilots declined to engage Hurricanes in head-on attacks. In 1942 the Hurricane was the most numerous Western Allied fighter in the inventory of the Soviet Union’s Red Army and Naval Air Force units serving on the large Soviet-German front. A major expansion of Red Army Air Force fighter regiments had been made possible by the monthly shipments of equipment from the Allies under lend-lease, which had been arriving since December 1941. In the winter of 1941-42, these shipments were needed more than ever. The halting of the German advance on Moscow in January 1942 encouraged the Soviet command to build on this achievement with a series of offensive operations along the western, northwestern and Kalinin fronts. Many of the fighter regiments equipped with the Hurricane were the first to be mobilized along these fronts. The Hurricane’s contribution to the Soviet war effort has tended to be overshadowed. Its performance was considered inferior to that of the Messerschmitt Bf 109 Fs and Gs opposing it. Many reports from this period, when Soviet fighter units suffered heavy losses, characterized the Hurricane as obsolete, bulky and slow. It was almost considered to be a burden on the fighter units operating it. And the Hurricane was unlikely to be the mount of an ace fighter pilot. Of course, there is a grain of truth in this. It was difficult to measure the Hurricane’s strengths against the latest Messerschmitt fighters, and it was hardly surprising that the more highly trained pilots tried to get themselves transferred to units operating faster and more manoeuvrable fighters at the earliest opportunity. &lt;br /&gt;

The highest scoring ace of the Northern Fleet Air Force, twice Hero of the Soviet Union (HSU) Boris Feoktistovich Safonov, led the first Soviet fighter air regiment equipped with Hurricanes. Although he encountered enemy aircraft only twice during this time, on each occasion, he was able to increase his personal score. He was credited with shooting down a Bf 109 and a He 111 for his 15th and 16th aerial victories. But when more modern Kittyhawk I's arrived in-theatre Safonov immediately transferred from the Hurricane to the American fighter, which, until his death in combat on 30 May 1942, enabled him to account for four more aircraft (three of these were Ju 88s downed on his final ill-fated mission).&amp;lt;ref name=&amp;quot;'hurri2&amp;quot; /&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;

Units had to be pulled back to the rear to be re-equipped, as a rule, with another aircraft type. It was factors such as these that left bitter memories of the Hurricane with many Soviet pilots, who flew the fighter for such a short period that there was no possibility of them becoming aces. &lt;br /&gt;

The Hurricane can, therefore, be described as a fighter that fully met the demands of the air war being fought in the complex circumstances of the Soviet-German front in 1942. Pilots with little training not only became rapidly familiar with the aircraft but could also fly it confidently, and were able, with the improved Soviet armament installed in the Hurricane IIB, to shoot down enemy bombers. Whilst not as fast or agile as the Spitfire, the Hurricane had a greater ability to tolerate battle damage and possessed a more stable firing platform for its armament; for this reason, a standard Fighter Command tactic was, where possible, for Spitfires to deal with German fighters whilst the Hurricanes tackled the bombers. RAF Fighter Command’s sole Victoria Cross was honoured upon a Hurricane pilot; on 17th August 1940, Flt Lt JB Nicholson of 249 Squadron received severe burns when he gallantly remained at the controls of his blazing Hurricane to shoot down a Messerschmitt 110.&lt;br /&gt;

Being a light Anti-submarine Frigate, the Pr.35 '''''Mirka''''' class has very little substantial armour, with just 5 mm turret armour and the 15 mm splash guard for the forward turret. While these may minimize damage caused by small calibre HE rounds and splash damage from other areas being hit, they will not protect the turrets from direct fire starting at even the size of 12.7 mm machine guns. General survivability is not much better, as the primary armament is limited to two large turrets. Losing turrets is common on the Mirka and will result in your fire being halved at the least. Furthermore, the low crew count of 98 means that a very low damage threshold can be sustained on major components before the ship is destroyed. Thankfully the Mirka has a few aces up its sleeve to counteract these issues. To begin with, the crew are very spaced out in the ship, meaning that you will most likely survive the first few salvos. Secondly, because the hull has such a low freeboard for the majority of the ship, most of the machinery and ammunition is protected by the sea. &lt;br /&gt;

Mobility is a very strong suit of the ship. Starting at 57 km/h stock the ship lags behind destroyers and most cruisers, and cannot hold a candle to the late-game MTBs that it might face. However, of the Corvette/Frigate class, the Pr.35 has a distinct advantage, often holding a 10 km/h advantage or more over other ships of its size. These are rarely faced, however, and as such, it cannot be expected that you will ever be leading the charge in matches. The turn radius of the ship is reasonable, however, the initial snap can be very deceiving when initiating a turn. One major issue when manoeuvring the Mirka is the existence of the hull-mounted Sonar system. This dips far below the keel of the hull and can often be caught on rocks. The primary armament of the Pr.35 is where the ship shines. It is armed with a pair of AK-726 76 mm semi-automatic gun turrets. Each of these turrets contains two guns firing a total of 90 rounds per minute. This firing rate allows for the ship to dismantle any opponent vessel in seconds, from MTBs all the way up to destroyer leaders and light cruisers. These guns have very nice post-penetration effects on targets lacking armour and can be extremely dangerous should you sneak up on someone. This firing rate comes at a price, however, and that price is two-fold. Firstly, the guns overheat quickly, barrages tend to be limited and the guns must be watched for overheat. Secondly, the shells have a relatively short range and their effectiveness drops off quickly beyond 5 kilometres when shells begin to miss and fire arcs become too great to regularly hit the target.&lt;br /&gt;

The Pr.35 &amp;quot;Mirka&amp;quot; is armed with a single quintuple 406 mm torpedo launcher armed with the SET-40 lightweight anti-submarine torpedo. The launcher has very good launch angles and five torpedoes are quite reasonable however that is where the praise ends. The torpedoes have only one operational setting, with no option for upgrades and are slow. At 54 km/h a cruiser with keen eyes can outrun these torpedoes and with 8-kilometre range, they are not going to reach much past the effective range of your turrets. Worse still the torpedoes have a meek 80kg warhead, which will not destroy ships larger than a corvette in one hit. Stroyny was one of the final ships from the renowned Type 7 series. In fact, she hadn’t even undergone the required tests before the start of the war. With only one commissioned engine, Stroyny proceeded to the Ust-Izhora shipyard and engaged the German troops assaulting Leningrad. While the city was under siege, the destroyer’s crew laid down continuous fire on the enemy positions and provided fire support to the Red Army troops breaking through the blockade. According to the official data, Stroyny’s primary armament fired a whole 5,424 rounds on the enemy during the Siege of Leningrad! Due to such intense levels of fire, the ship’s gun liners – the special insertable tubes with cuts that are used in gun barrels – had to be changed twice. After the blockade was broken, Stroyny was stationed in Leningrad, where it remained until the war was over. In the post-war period, the destroyer was converted into a rescue vessel and later on used as a target ship. Stroyny was retired from military service in 1965.&lt;br /&gt;
