<!-- In the description, the first part should be about the history of the creation and combat usage of the vehicle, as well as its key features. In the second part, tell the reader about the ground vehicle in the game. Insert a screenshot of the vehicle, so that if the novice player does not remember the vehicle by name, he will immediately understand what kind of vehicle the article is talking about. -->
The TOG II is a prototype super-heavy tank designed in 1940 by the Special Vehicle Development Committee a.k.a "The Old Gang", which consisted of the original designers of British tanks during World War I. The tank is a follow-up design of the TOG I, which was designed with the expectation that the next world war would devolve into static trench warfare much like the first. To achieve this, the TOG II has a very long and relatively narrow hull to help it traverse trenches effectively, and at one point even planned to be equipped with sponson turrets to ward off infantry attacks from the sides. As speed was not a priority, the TOG II's top speed was expected to be around 25 km/h, though in reality it could only achieve 13.7 km/h due to its sheer weight.

Unfortunately for the TOG II, as World War II developed into an Europe-wide conflict, it became increasingly clear that trench warfare was not how warfare would be waged during the conflict. With the advent of mobile warfare, the sheer size and lack of speed of the TOG II meant that it was hopelessly obsolete from its inception. In an attempt to keep the project relevant, "The Old Gang" tried mounted various modern and experimental armaments onto the TOG II, with the most notable attempt being the use of the prototype turret of the Challenger tank with a 28-pounder gun. However, this proved fruitless, as the TOG II was fundamentally not designed for mobile warfare, and the project was cancelled in 1943. The sole prototype of the TOG II is currently preserved at the Bovington Tank Museum.

Introduced during Update "Kings of Battle" as the reward for the "Dreams Come True" 11th Anniversary event, the TOG II is a gargantuan "super-heavy" tank designed for a static trench warfare scenario that never came to be. As such, the tank's distinctively long hull sticks out like a sore thumb among the ranks of its contemporaries. Unfortunately for the TOG II, the tank is only really called a "super-heavy" due to its sheer weight of 81 tons (with add-on armour), while its overall armour is mediocre at best. Being designed to climb over trenches and that alone, the tank ends up being quite slow and won't be outrunning anything. Fortunately, the TOG II has a large 28-pounder (94 mm) gun as its ace up its sleeve to make up for its other shortcomings. The gun has high penetration and with the high turret traverse speed the TOG II can effectively threaten tanks well above its BR. The TOG II thus excels at fire support from behind friendly tanks, or slowly advancing towards the enemies with your teammates to cover your weak flanks.

General info
Survivability and armour
Specs-Tank-Armour
<!-- Describe armour protection. Note the most well protected and key weak areas. Appreciate the layout of modules as well as the number and location of crew members. Is the level of armour protection sufficient, is the placement of modules helpful for survival in combat? If necessary use a visual template to indicate the most secure and weak zones of the armour. -->

While the TOG II's armor may seem sufficient, in reality it is weaker than the armour of the Churchill VII while the tank itself is higher in BR, making it significantly more likely to meet cannons capable of simply going through your armour even when angled. Regardless, the TOG II must be angled to increase its survivability against weaker cannons, as is the norm for British heavy tanks at this tier. Refrain from showing the turret rear or your side hull to enemies, as they are very weak.

The tank is vulnerable to HE of 120 mm calibre and above due to fairly lackluster roof and bottom armour. Sometimes the frontal hull roof will sustain HE shells caught by the gun, but direct turret hit will most likely destroy the vehicle. Even small bombs and rockets can easily destroy the TOG II due to this 'chink in the armour', if they land below or above the tank.

In terms of blatant weak spots, the TOG II is devoid of any major armor deficiencies outside of the turret cheeks, which are 38 mm thinner than the middle of the turret face. The engine deck in the back, despite having low armour protection, stops APHE from dealing any real damage to the tank (which does allow a strategy similar to the IS-2 where you drive backwards), though any pure AP may go straight through it. In case the enemy penetrates the armour of the tank, there are 8 crew members to spare and the majority of internal ammo racks can be kept empty, which can artificially increase the survivability of the vehicle.

If player decides to equip the TOG II GWP modification, the tank gains two extra weak spots on the sides in a form of two protruding sponsons on the sides and a grenade launcher with additional ammo racks. The sponsons are made of a weaker cast armour and make angling pointless due to adding plates that actively counteract your attempts to angle the vehicle. The grenade launcher is similar to the one used by the Churchill I , but can only fire smoke shells. Contrary to that on the Maus, as the gun has limited firing angles to create a 'smoke barrier' and the modification adds weakspots to the vehicle, it is undesirable as a whole and generally not recommended that the player use the modification. The machine guns are not functional in the game, and the smoke screens are not worth the weakspots, inability to angle and the extra ammunition it adds to your vehicle.
Mobility
Specs-Tank-Mobility
<!-- Write about the mobility of the ground vehicle. Estimate the specific power and manoeuvrability, as well as the maximum speed forwards and backwards. -->

As a 72.5 ton behemoth of a tank weighing more than even the SEP V2 and Tiger II (H) and only 2.7 tons shy of the Jagdtiger's 75.2 ton weight, the TOG II is slow. The designers of the vehicle (The Old Gang) prioritized crossing trenches without issue, which resulted in a slow tank that could not keep up with the more modern mobility-based wars of World War II - something that very much carries over to the game as well. The tank is extremely long to boot (also a result of the aforementioned trench crossing design considerations), making it quite slow to maneuver around the battlefield. The turning efficiency itself depends on the game mode; in RB, the tank has to stop to turn properly (N gear), or turn on EXACTLY gear 4 (otherwise the engine will choke and stop). In AB, it is possible to use gear 5 to turn around even faster. The tank turns better with its forward gear, but not to a significant degree.

When getting to the battlefield, it is highly recommended to use your Cruise Control (default binds Q and E, tap them to increase/decrease your gears without tapping W/S) binds to keep your fingers off the keyboard for too long. What is also important, however, is knowing the maps well and picking a route at the start of the match that minimizes the time spent turning your hull. This is similar to how other superheavy vehicles in general (the T95 is an exception due to its high turn rate) like the Maus play - if you keep trudging forward, even at your 15 km/h max speed, you will surprisingly be getting places not too far off from your teammates. However, turning completely stops your advance to the front lines and often takes 10+ seconds to turn to the direction you want, so minimizing this time is crucial in getting to the battlefield quickly.

A minor thing to note is that the TOG II has a reverse gearbox, meaning it can reverse at the same speed of -15 km/h as it can go forwards (15 km/h). This coupled with high torque means the tank can reverse out surprisingly quick and also turn somewhat well - things that can definitely come in handy when trying to retreat or make it up a hill at an angle.
28pdr OQF (94 mm)

The most defining feature of this tank outside of its lackluster mobility and large size is by far its main armament. The 94 mm 28-pounder is a monstrous gun with a long barrel, fairly decent ballistics and good penetration. The ammunition selection is by no means generous - with only solid AP and HE being available - but on a very fast swiveling gun with a moderate reload, the cannon lets the TOG II engage multiple targets in quick succession. Post-penetration damage on the AP round is also akin to APHE, with high spall and overall fast shell speed, albeit with the caveat that it still isn't a shell with filler and that the round does arc somewhat meaning it isn't a 'point-and-shoot' gun. The shell can generally go through almost all enemies you see at your BR with little issue, so you need not flinch when you see something heavily armored. HE, as always, is an available option against open top vehicles, but isn't advised to be brought in large numbers due to lacking effectiveness against general targets.
This howitzer has the same trajectory as the one of the Churchill I, but can only fire smoke and can only be used by selecting the "fire special weapons" button, meaning it cannot be selected as a secondary weapon. As a result of this shell selection and poor gun angles, the gun is, if equipped at all, a support tool. The most useful application of the weapon is most likely to create a sort of 'smoke wall' like on similar vehicles such as the Maus, letting you cross extended sightlines by smoking up a corridor and passing by before it dissipates.
Play style:

The premier 'land battleship' in history and in popular media, the TOG II was a superheavy tank designed to tackle the fortifications and static frontlines of World War 1...that never got to see any of the things in question. It was incredibly long, slow, and frankly for its weight a bit under-armoured, which led to the program being cancelled as it was very clear the TOG wouldn't have fared well in the mobility-heavy battlegrounds that were the Second World War.

The TOG II is an almost one-of-a-kind vehicle with a reputation that precedes itself. Playing in some ways similarly to the Maus, another very well-known superheavy tank, the most important thing to keep in mind is to minimize time spent turning the hull. This may sound quite trivial, but it will overall contribute to getting to the frontlines faster and also be in places you want to be. The tank's top speed of 15 km/h is by no means fast, but if you keep going in a straight line you surprisingly do get places fairly quickly. However, when turning, the tank suffers heavily from its long hull design and underpowered transmission as you may be stuck in place for dozens of seconds trying to face the direction of your choosing. Therefore, pre-planning a vague route you want to advance through that has the least amount of turning possible will help you be noticeably more effective in combat. It also has the added benefit of meaning you won't be autopiloting as much with cruise control, as you have to have a map in your head on when and where you want to turn your tank.

The GWP modification is not recommended as it adds unremovable ammo racks and adds two sponsons, both of which are easily penetrated and make any angling effort completely redundant. Considering the vehicle is almost reliant on its armour to survive, this is a damning change and unless you get unmatched utility from the smoke shells this modification only acts as a hinderance to the vehicle.

It is viable to push forward in reverse akin to IS-2s, even when there is no real cover in form of hills, because of the size of the engine and transmission. This means tanks that fire APHE will usually be foiled due to the engine eating the shrapnel instead of your crew compartment. Remember that your turret is still vulnerable in this state, so tanks that can penetrate it frontally will be a top priority. It is also important to note that this maneuver heavily restricts your gun depression - do not under any circumstance try to crest a hill this way as if your engine gets shot out you will either be focused by multiple enemies or die to 3 consecutive engine fires.

Angling the tank somewhat and pushing can also be a viable strategy as well. While the TOG II doesn't boast the most heavily armored hull and turret of its tier, a fair few enemies won't know your weakspots and may thus bounce off the thicker-than-expected front. As your reverse is just as fast as your forwards speed, the vehicle can also get out of sticky situations surprisingly effectively. Also to note is the fairly high penetrating gun, which lets you stick at range and mostly avoid being penetrated in return. This can be beneficial in uptiers when you face heavier caliber guns.

Ammunition:

It is recommended to bring 27 shells, as this will put all your ammunition under your turret crew. The GWP modification as mentioned above should be de-equipped as the ammunition in the sponsons cannot be removed and will still detonate your vehicle on penetration.

Your main round will be the solid shot AP round. Due to its large caliber and fairly high speed / penetration the shell actually can one shot enemies quite often, or at least leave them heavily damaged. HE can be loaded for light targets, but your main ammo will first and foremost be the AP.

Defensive Capabilities:

With a fast turret traverse, it will be quite easy to react to incoming threats. Despite the cramped internals, the tank is quite survivable down to the sheer number of crew inside the tank. Try to avoid driving into any crossfire zones as you can only really angle against a single direction without losing armor effectiveness.

Notable Enemies / Guns:

* Soviet SPGs (Calibers 100 mm and above): Similar designs all around, dangerous guns but generally held back by their long reloads. Regardless of whether they have HE or APHE loaded, you should always treat them as existential threats and either avoid them, ambush them when they look away or focus your fire towards their weakspots. These usually involve the lower transmission casing (immobilizes them and their firing arc) or the flat armor plates next to the gun.
* Vehicles equipped with the US 76 mm ((76) W, M18 GMC, M41A1, M4/T26, M36 GMC etc): Fairly dangerous gun at close to medium range, but can also bounce on angles. Most are open top or lightly armored against your gun, so an AP shot followed up by a HE shell will generally be enough. Shermans may require a second AP shell instead of a HE shell, as they're more armored.
* Tiger I: Fairly lethal shell with adequate penetration, but has minimal armor you can shoot center mass at if they're not angled. If it is - try and hit the flatter plate of the two plates presented, to potentially damage the crew in the turret. The regular cupola shot will be fairly ineffective with AP as your shell lacks filler, so try and seize the moment they stop angling to peek out and ruin their day.
* German long 75 mm (Panthers, Panzer IV/70(V)): Very lethal cannon, prioritize these enemies at all costs! At close to medium range, a single hit to the middle of the hull can destroy it, but if you want to be extra cautious you can go for a turret cheek or corner shot to disable the vehicle's ability to return fire if it's a Panther. If it's a Panzer IV/70(V) or its premium counterpart, you can shoot near the lower plate and it will generally spall into the tank's crew compartment.
* French 75 mm ((SA50), (FL10) etc.): POT-51A and PCOT-51P both have fairly high penetration as well as post-penetration damage. The SA50 can utilize terrain, unlike its American 76, British or Italian Firefly counterparts, so be vigilant if you notice a competent player in one. As it's a Sherman hull, however, a single shot will generally be enough to neutralize it.
* US 90 mm: This cannon when equipped with the proper rounds can be a nightmare to handle. M82 on penetration will knock out large amounts of your crew, but contrary to popular belief this isn't the only shell these guns can fire. M304 and/or M332 APCR rounds at this tier act akin to APDS rounds and can generally handle pretty scary angles and still penetrate, and for vehicles like the M36B2 a HEATFS shell option is available which will eat through your armor.
* German long 88 mm (Jagdpanther G1, Waffentrager, Nashorn etc.): The most dangerous cannon you can see at this tier. Prioritize dealing with these vehicles ahead of every other vehicle you see unless absolutely necessary! While the TOG II no longer faces Tiger IIs, the long 88 is found on a substantial number of German tank destroyers both light and heavy alike. The Waffenträger and Nashorn are lightly armored but the former is low profile and turreted while the latter is mobile; the Jagdpanther is both heavily armored and mobile which is even worse news for you. Avoid Jagdpanthers if possible or get close enough so that your shells can hit the weakspot e.g. the MG port, but volumetric armor may mean your shell may do inconsistent damage as he one shots you back.

Pros and cons
<!-- Summarise and briefly evaluate the vehicle in terms of its characteristics and combat effectiveness. Mark its pros and cons in a bulleted list. Try not to use more than 6 points for each of the characteristics. Avoid using categorical definitions such as "bad", "good" and the like - use substitutions with softer forms such as "inadequate" and "effective". -->

Pros:

* Fairly good survivability and has the option to advance rearwards
** The tank has a reverse gear box, giving it the same speed in both directions
* The AP shell has good penetration and damage for its battle rating
* The turret and track traverse speeds are surprisingly good, with the turret being twice as fast as most contemporaries
* Has a small town of 8 people inside; Hard to one-shot
* Fast reload

Cons:

* One of the slowest vehicles in the game
* The TOG II GWP modification severely decreases armor effectiveness and makes angling near impossible
* The cannon lacks an APHE round needed for its one-shot potential
* The turret armor is a potential weakspot, meaning being hull-down may not guarantee safety
* Very large profile, easy to spot
* Crew is packed near the front, potentially meaning heavy crew losses when frontally penetrated
* Engine and transmission are easily knocked out

The name is a premium gift rank rank Italian tank destroyer Battle-rating. It was introduced during Update "Sons of Attila" as a reward for Battle Pass: Season XIII, "Tropical Storm".

The Breda's main 90 mm gun and its 4 operators (3 loaders, 1 gunner) are protected by a 7 mm gun shield comparable to that of the German 8,8 cm Flak 37 Sfl. or the Breda 501, while the driver and commander sit in a cabin made of 5 mm thick steel. The gun and its 4 operators are exposed from the sides and the back, while the gunner and a loader can be shot at through the front from the gunner's sight. Four 10 mm wheels and a 30 mm metal hull piece protect the transmission directly under the gun. Ammo is stored in a small, not very visible 5 mm structural steel box behind the cabin.

This lack of adequate armour makes you a prime target for any vehicle with a machine gun, high explosive round or artillery strike. Especially one with a common M2 browning machine gun as it is able to pierce all of your armour and modules. Making sure to only expose the main Gun while engaging targets can ensure relative safety as the intact driver and commander can drive into cover to switch places with the gunner and also repair as the barrel, breech or humongous aiming drive will most likely be damaged. This is not a fool proof strategy though as enemies can hit your transmission, crippling your mobility. Pointing your cabin at the enemy is not advised as most ordnance will hit the exposed engine, radiator, and driver, leaving you unable to escape while allowing the enemy to reload and flank you to get at the rest of your crew and modules.

All in all, the Breda 90/53 relies on its manoeuvrability and range for survivability as it lacks any armour able to stop more than a machine gun round, therefore positioning the vehicle behind solid terrain or map cover will give you the best survivability.
<!-- Write about the mobility of the ground vehicle. Estimate the specific power and manoeuvrability, as well as the maximum speed forwards and backwards. -->
The truck is moderately fast, driving at 30 km/h on demand and then accelerating towards maximum speed (very slowly in RB), though light tanks will generally drive faster than it. Due to it being wheeled, it will drive faster on roads (quickly reaching 56 km/h), but will also be unable to turn in place.

The truck does not have much climbing power, to get onto some hills it needs a head start (about 70-100 m), but it still can get onto sniping spots and can easily slide off them when threatened for the same reason.

The truck dislikes turning in general, but in a way that is more or less controllable, rather than sliding around at any inconvenience. When braking, the track will turn towards the last wheel turning direction (if user presses "turn right" for a moment and then brake, the truck will do a 90 degree flip to the right, same applies to the "turn left"). The extreme turn strategy can be used if the gun was already turned broadside, though under normal circumstances hard braking when encountering enemies is highly detrimental - simply let go of gas to retain control of the chassis and reduce gun wobble, then turn a bit if the enemy is too close.

The gun is the same as the one used by the M41M, that being said, it will penetrate pretty much any tank and turn them into a wreck. To deal with other artillery trucks or planes HE can be used, whether normal ones or the timed variety (In RB and SB, if rangefinder was used before firing, they explode after flying for a set distance, in AB it does nothing special), depending on user preference.

Due to the SPG having a "rangefinder" modification it will have true aim assist across entire maps in AB, and will precisely and fast tell the range in RB at up to about 1.5 km range. This allows to lay waste on the majority of enemy tanks, as most people at the rank have no idea how to aim that far, or will really struggle to land a counter hit even if they do know.
; Arcade battles

This truck has similar playstyle to all artillery trucks, meaning that in general you want to find some faraway point and shoot people that try to get onto capture points or to shoot you (which they should never be able to do, unless you get distracted in real life). If you get bombed, try to drive away anyway with your forward gear, as in AB bombs are quite small and not many people bomb from optimal altitude of 1.8 km, letting you escape even if you didn't notice them falling. Some problems may arise if random howitzer tank decides to fire at you mortar style with HE or HEAT shells (meaning you will most likely die on their first shot due to it literally falling from space), but this is very rare and majority of enemy SPG are very predictable and will just try to fire over a hill. if you see someone preparing for such a sneak attack, you need to proactively remove the threat - aim at the top of their roof with the help of binoculars and blow them up first.

When there is no faraway sniping point, or you find it boring, or some heavy assistance is required at close range, look for a flat plain (pushing into a hill is a big no-no due to a poor gun depression, unless it is really necessary to win) or a road, then slowly work your way through enemies. Even when fighting at 10 to 800 m range you will have an extreme advantage of being not so easy to defeat with APHE while dishing out instant death with each shot. Try to maximize your control over the area and force one-on-one duels, do not hesitate to drive behind more buildings just to force other opponents to take another turn. Since there are no ammo racks in the back, pushing out with your back to the left is comically efficient, since the enemy will only be able to knock out the loaders, but not the gunner. If your enemy is not absolutely stupid and fires HE to instantly remove you, then you were already dead, though sometimes the HE fails to take out the crew inside the cab, letting you to escape and return again.
* 30 rounds of ammo compared to the M41M with the same cannon
* The ammo rack is not placed on the very back of the truck (unlike with the other truck SPG), so it is less likely to be randomly snapshotted by someone way too familiar with similar vehicles
* Fast reload rate for its calibre
* Completely wheeled, so it can move very fast on roads
* Very potent shell with 347g of explosive filler

Cons:

* Slow turret rotation speed
* Chassis have a tendency to violently spin when doing a hard brake, it's best to let it naturally slow down when encountering enemies
* Practically no armour
* Only -2 degrees of gun depression
* Forward firing arc is limited by the cabin, needs 300 m range to land a hit against frontal target on same elevation
* Shots to the turret tend to knock out the breech
Italian company "Ansaldo de Gênes Sampierdarena" began to develop a self-propelled anti-aircraft gun on a wheeled chassis in 1940, which paved the way to mount a 90 mm gun on a truck, with the arrangement allowing for the cannon to direct fire at enemy ground targets. The Breda 51 Coloniale (6x4) army truck was chosen as the main vehicle of choice, and after modifications were made, the official designation of Breda 52 was given. Production of this new vehicle commenced even before the testing phase had even finished in May 1941. By May 1943 a total of 120 of these vehicles were delivered to the Italian Army. The Breda 52 with the Cannone da 90/53 gun was used in battle in North Africa and also to defend Italy from the Allied invasion.
The name was a Soviet prototype tank, which was further developed and resulted in the T-50 light tank. Unlike the T-50, the hull has a slightly different shape and thicker armour with 55 mm thick armour at the front, 45 mm thick sides and less armoured 30 mm thick back compared to 45 mm all around found on the T-50. The turret of T-126 is also missing the commander cupola found on the production T-50 as well as features a different shape and thicker 45 mm all-around armour compared to the 40 mm thick front and sides as well as the 15 mm thick back of the T-50s turret. Two T-126 prototypes were built.

The T-126 was introduced in Update 1.47 "Big Guns" as a GE premium. A premium version of the T-50, it shares its similarities due to its prototype design but is better due to a much thicker all-around armour. An unfortunate side effect results in a decrease in top overall speed due to the weight of added armour, although the vehicle is still quite mobile.

Compared to the T-50, the PAGENAME can boast a better all-around armour for both the hull and turret. The only areas that the PAGENAME had same or weaker armour compared to the T-50 is the roof and the rear armour.

The front hull has the most impressive improvement, from a 40 mm plate on the T-50 to a 55 mm plate at the same sloping angle. This gives the PAGENAME a front armour protection similar to that of a medium tank, which is enough to shrug off most tank armament kinetic shells at a distance. The PAGENAME can even compound angle itself towards the enemy to present significant armour thickness on the front and side armour.

With the rather thick armour all-around the tank, a PAGENAME does not need to worry much about how they are presenting the tank towards the enemy when taking enemy fire. The only concerns would be shots directly perpendicular to the side armour, which can hit the ammo rack or crew.

The crew is tightly packed in the light tank, and so a penetrating shot through the front armour is most likely to knock out most, if not all, of the crew in a single shot. Shots to the side hull armour are also concerning as a large line of ammo racks line the port side of the hull, which means a clean penetration on either side of the hull can hit one of these racks and detonate the ammunition. The fuel and engine in the rear are also a concern, but are packed there isolated from the crew. They may also absorb any shells coming directly from the PAGENAME's rear armour, protecting the crew. However, this will immobilise the PAGENAME and allow the enemy to flank for a side shot that will hit thez ammo rack of crew.
<!-- Write about the mobility of the ground vehicle. Estimate the specific power and manoeuvrability, as well as the maximum speed forwards and backwards. -->
With the same 300 hp engine (572 hp in arcade) as the T-50, the PAGENAME has a significant difference in movement characteristics due to being about 5 tons heavier. Despite this, the PAGENAME is a rather quick vehicle. The forward acceleration is great and the PAGENAME can reach a sufficiently high forward speed quickly. Turning when moving can also be done in bursts for fast correction courses, but prolonged turning will drain the speed quickly.

The speed the PAGENAME is able to pick up makes it able to perform in a scout or flanking role on the battlefield.

The 45 mm 20-K cannon is familiar to those researching the Soviet tech tree, making up the main armament of the reserve tanks BT-5 and T-26. However, at rank II, the 45 mm starts to feel lacking at a distance against the even medium tanks. This is made up with the availability of APCR rounds for the cannon, but this is only useful at targets less than 1 kilometres due to the faster penetration drop-off and also on flat armour due to the poor slope attack characteristics of APCR.
Describe the most dangerous enemies and give recommendations on fighting them. If necessary, note the specifics of the game in different modes (AB, RB, SB).-->
Being the prototype of the T-50, the PAGENAME plays very similarly to it. Some major performance differences come in the PAGENAME's construction compared to the T-50. The PAGENAME, despite being almost 5 tons heavier than the T-50, still moves at a serviceable speed for most light tank operations. This weight difference is due to the PAGENAME armour being somewhat thicker at the front and sides, giving the PAGENAME more protection compared to the T-50 and so it translates to better protection against most small-calibre enemy projectiles. The two tanks do share a very slow turret traverse rate, slow enough that it is faster to turn the hull towards the enemy than the turret.

As such, the PAGENAME excels in an open map with sufficient cover when advancing, such as Karelia or Ash River. Players should make the most of the PAGENAME's speed to advance towards the point. Use the PAGENAME's front armour, which can get to more than 70 mm of effective thickness when facing head-on, to bum rush through any encountered enemies. When making a mad dash to the point, the most common enemy tank type met are other light tanks, which at this battle rating tend to have light-calibre guns ranging from 37 mm to 50 mm. Against these guns, the PAGENAME stands a good chance at resisting the enemy projectile so long as the PAGENAME player prevents them from obtaining a good shot. Once a point is captured, one should focus on advancing towards the next point rather than stick around and defend the point. Unfortunately, while the 45 mm gun is still sufficient for close-range attacks, it is rather poor at longer ranges and against heavier armoured vehicles, even medium tanks. This, combined with the PAGENAME's slow turret traverse rate, means it is poor in the defense where it has to react to an enemy offensive that is at liberty to approach the captured point from any direction.

Terrain where the PAGENAME would be rather poor at is on extreme open area with no cover available and in city maps. Open area are a concern due to the presence of tank destroyers that could quite easily pierce through the PAGENAME's armour. With the 45 mm inability to have a threatening punch from a long range away, the tank destroyers could plink at the PAGENAME with ease. City maps are also a concern due to the poor turret traverse rate of the PAGENAME. Encountering an enemy around the street corner could be difficult and time-consuming if the turret must be angled correctly to get a good shot off, especially if the space does not permit the freedom to use the hull to turn the turret towards the enemy. While the PAGENAME could still perform on both of these terrains, extra care should be used by the PAGENAME player to ensure it does not get outmatched and destroyed.

Tanks of concern are in general medium tanks and tank destroyers as by this battle rating, the typical guns encountered are now at or greater than 75 mm while also being at a high-enough velocity to punch through the PAGENAME's armour. As such, when moving between points, be wary of zones where enemy would hide and ambush the PAGENAME as it drives by. Medium tanks with sloped armour will be of big concern if encountered from the front, and so attempts must be made to attack the side armour either by ambush or by outmanoeuvring the tank.

Some concerning vehicles to keep an eye for:

* M4 Shermans: Their sloped frontal armour leaves little frontal weakpoints available to the PAGENAME's 45 mm cannon, while the M4's 75 mm can cleave through the PAGENAME with relative ease. Most of these M4 also have a sufficiently high turret traverse rate that it could respond to the PAGENAME's attempt to outflank it if spotted. The one M4 variant that is easier to deal with is the (105) version, which has a slower traverse rate and a longer reload time compared to the 75 mm variants. The 105 mm shells also have a lower muzzle velocity, meaning the M4A3 (105) is less likely to engage a moving PAGENAME at a farther distance.
* M10 GMC: Despite being a lesser-armoured and slower-traversing version of the M4, the gun is upped to a 76 mm that can more than easily cut through the PAGENAME's armour. The front armour is slightly easier to penetrate from the front, but only in relatively short ranges. The slower turret traverse rate could be exploited by attacking the M10 from an angle it is not facing.
* M24: Compared to other light tanks, the M24 is equipped with the same 75 mm as the M4 Sherman tanks. As such, the M24 can be troublesome if when rushing a capture point since while the PAGENAME's armour can shrug off other light tank guns, the M24's 75 mm can be quite lethal with a good hit. That said, if the PAGENAME could manage a shot off at the M24 before the latter could fire, then it could become a non-issue.
* Pz.IVs: The Pz.IV's long gun is of big concern as these guns can very easily cut through the PAGENAME's armour without issue. The fast muzzle velocity also means the Pz.IV is more inclined to take out the PAGENAME from a distance before the PAGENAME could get close enough to be able to effectively damage it. The one caveat the Pz.IV has is the rather boxy armour construction, which means there is little sloping effect involved in preventing the 45 mm from penetrating. As such, it is easier to find the Pz.IV head-on and aim at a perpendicular angle right in the front hull armour and penetrate with the 45 mm cannon. A hit in the front would immobilize the Pz.IV and can allow for a flanking manoeuvre to hit the enemy tank from the sides directly to the crew compartment.
* Sd.Kfz.234/2: As Germany's premier light tank at the battle rating, the 234/2 "Puma" is extremely fast and can usually beat the PAGENAME at a race to the capture point. Armed with a 50 mm cannon, the 234/2 can also penetrate the PAGENAME's armour and so they are a cause of concern for PAGENAME players.

Pros and cons
<!-- Summarise and briefly evaluate the vehicle in terms of its characteristics and combat effectiveness. Mark its pros and cons in a bulleted list. * Decent mobility

Cons:

* Slow turret rotation
* Gun mantlet is a significant weak spot
* Struggles in an up-tiered battle
* Cheeks on the corner of the frontal armour, which results in massive weak spots if you are not facing enemies
Development
The Spanish Civil War gave the Soviets insight on the future of tank warfare, and the knowledge led to an attempt to upgrade or replace their tank forces that consisted mainly of the T-26 light tanks. The development started in 1939 to create a replacement with for the T-26 and BT light tanks.

The project for the new tank began as the SP project, which is short for Soprovzhdeniya Pekhoty, which means "Infantry Support". The project was headed by the OKMO tank design bureau at the S.M. Kirov Factory No. 185 in Leningrad under the individuals L. Troyanov and I. Bushnevov. Two prototypes, the T-126 and the T-127 was built, and the T-126 was to be further developed into the finished design. The finished design would become the T-50 light tank, which was an intricate light tank for the Soviets at the time. The tank featured sloping armour, torsion bar suspension, diesel engine, three-man turret, and a commander's cupola, all of which were advanced features at the time.

Production
The tank would eventually be produced in 1941 during the German invasion in Operation Barbarossa. Only 69 T-50s were made before production ended in January 1942, the design suffered from being expensive, unreliable, and over-engineered. Today, two T-50 survive in intact condition, one normal variant in the Kubinka Tank Museum, and an up-armoured variant in Finland at a museum in Parola.
The T-126 experimental light tank was built in the summer of 1940 at Leningrad Experimental Automobile Factory #185. The project was developed on the basis of combat experience in Spain with the goal of creating a tank suitable for the conditions of future wars. Only one model of the tank was ever built, and it was never used in combat.
Following the underwhelming engine performance of the "Aircraft K" (Su-9) project using reverse engineered German Jumo-004 engines, the indigenous Lyulka TR-1 engines originally intended were finally completed. However, it was quickly discovered that these massive engines would require a complete redesign of the engine pods and wings to be mounted, and the tailplane changed slightly to move the elevators out of the engine's wash. As a result, the aircraft with the new wings and engines looked substantially different, even from afar. This directly resulted in it receiving new designations, first "Aircraft KM" and later redesignated into Su-11. There was also a second parallel project, "Aircraft KT" (Su-13) which would have had the Toryi (Thorium) radar from the La-200 in the nose. The Su-11 first flew on May 28th, 1947, and had a maximum speed of 940 km/h at sea level, but as flight testing quickly revealed, the aircraft had horrible longitudinal stability at high speeds. The engineers were unable to revise the airframe further to fix these stability issues, and coupled with the lack of available new Lyulka TR-1 engines, in 1948 the program was cancelled altogether, with only one Su-9, one Su-11, and no Su-13s built. Instead, the Soviet Government favoured the Mikoyan I-310 prototype (which also first flew in 1947), using the more readily available Klimov RD-45 (reverse-engineered Rolls-Royce Nene) in a more stable and reliable airframe, which ultimately became the MiG-15.

The name was introduced in Update "Ixwa Strike" as a GE GE premium aircraft in the Soviet tech tree. Bearing a lot of resemblance to its tech tree brother, the Su-9, the Su-11 in reality is a completely different beast. The upgraded engines and wing shape give the Su-11 unparalleled acceleration and high-speed performance compared to its adversaries at this battle rating. All in all, the Su-11 is a very powerful premium aircraft and a decent pick for people looking for something to research the early Soviet jet aircraft ranks with.
Examine the most dangerous enemies and give recommendations on fighting them. If necessary, note the specifics of the game in different modes (AB, RB, SB). -->
The Su-11 can easily be one of the best aircraft at its battle rating. Its primary strength is the excellent acceleration, compared to contemporary jets. It has excellent energy retention (ER) and average to good manoeuvring energy retention (MER).

In general, the best tactic with the Su-11 is to play to its strengths, as with any vehicle; In the Su-11's case, particularly its acceleration and ER can be exploited. Take off from the airfield, and level out quickly. Don't bother gaining initial altitude, jet engines particularly early jet engines, accelerate better at sea level. Turn at least 30 degrees away from the center of the map, and build up speed. It is recommended to build up to about 725 km/h - 805 km/h (450 mph to 500 mph), then place the aircraft into a 20-30 degree zoom climb (steady-state climbing is possible in this aircraft, but like most early jets, zoom climbing is most efficient).

This will take the Su-11 well above 3.5 km, usually closer to 5 km. Dive on unsuspecting enemies, particularly aircraft that don't manoeuvre well, and once they are destroyed, begin a 20-30 degree zoom climb to regain your lost altitude. The energy retention is excellent, and you can typically regain all your lost altitude, if not gain on top of it. Usually enemies on the Su-11 tail can be out-accelerated, which causes most players to lose interest in engaging and break off the chase, even if their aircraft's top speed is higher than the Su-11.

Manoeuvrability is average, but certainly not poor. The Su-11's manoeuvring energy retention is excellent, If forced to dogfight and the opponent vehicle has similar manoeuvrability, simply drain them of their energy with long, sweeping movements.

While the Su-11's armament packs a punch, excellent marksmanship is an absolute necessity, given the low ammo pool of only 200 23 mm rounds and 40 37 mm rounds. In addition it has a relatively low rate of fire (on both cannons). The rounds are also relatively low velocity (especially the 37 mm round). However, the rounds are extremely powerful, with the 37 mm round able to destroy heavy bombers with a couple of well placed hits, and the 23 mm round able to destroy lighter aircraft with 1-2 hits. The best option is to get as close as possible before opening fire to ensure that the enemy plane gets knocked out.

Pros and cons
<!-- Summarise and briefly evaluate the vehicle in terms of its characteristics and combat effectiveness. Mark its pros and cons in the bulleted list. Try not to use more than 6 points for each of the characteristics. Avoid using categorical definitions such as "bad", "good" and the like - use substitutions with softer forms such as "inadequate" and "effective". -->

Pros:

* Decent manoeuvrability
* Good acceleration for an early jet
* Fast aircraft
* Excellent energy retention

* Engines overheat quickly at 100% power
* Low ammo pool
* Low rate of fire, relatively low velocity (particularly the 37 mm) cannons
The Su-9 was an early Soviet jet fighter built using knowledge and parts derived from the German Me 262 jet fighter.

The Su-11 was a project in 1946 to mount Yakovlev versions of the RD-10F engines in the Su-9 jet fighter. After testing the Su-9 in the wind tunnel, it was found that engines mounted in the wings rather than underneath reduced drag and that the wingtips also needed a redesign. As such, the Su-11 received a completely redesigned wing and before completion it was also received the Lyulka TR-1 turbojet engines. The two engines produced 2,865 lbf of thrust each for 5930 lbf of thrust total.

The Su-11 first flew on 28 May 1947, demonstrating a maximum speed of 940 km/h at sea level. Unfortunately, the design had a bad longitudinal stability and even modifications to the wing engine nacelles did not solve the issue. Because of these issues, the Su-11 programme was cancelled and did not enter production.
Description
<!-- In the description, the first part should be about the history of the creation and combat usage of the vehicle, as well as its key features. In the second part, tell the reader about the ground vehicle in the game. Insert a screenshot of the vehicle, so that if the novice player does not remember the vehicle by name, he will immediately understand what kind of vehicle the article is talking about. -->
The Object 435 has a rather strange appearance like many other Soviet "Object" prototypes. The hull front has unusual angles that wouldn't seem out of place on the IS heavy tank family, but it has a very round turret reminiscent of the T-62. The suspension and roadwheels foreshadow the T-64. It was designed as a next-generation medium tank to potentially replace the ubiquitous T-54/55 under the name "Object 430" with new 100 mm or 115 mm U-5TS (2A20) smoothbore gun for the Object 435, but ultimately was shelved for what eventually became the T-64 (Object 432) and now stored in Kubinka Tank Museum right next to the tank that won the state certification, T-64A (Object 434).

Introduced in Update "La Royale", the Object 435 offers a similar experience to the T-62 while being placed in the T-64/T-80 MBT line in the tech tree. It has the same powerful 115 mm smoothbore cannon with good APFSDS rounds that can tackle most foes without any issues at the cost of a slow reload. Mobility and turret traverse are slightly improved. It trades the ESS system for an optical rangefinder. A nice bonus is that while the T-62 lacks any kind of pintle machine gun, not even a humble 12.7 mm DShK, the Object 435 packs a KPVT 14.5 mm heavy machine gun that can shred light vehicles and helicopters. Players transitioning from the T-10M will be very happy to still have an effective supplement to the main cannon.

For previous players who own T-64 series, they can tell Object 435 should have some kind of resemblance to the infamous "Kharkov (Kharkiv) Fortress" tanks from the flat, dish-like road wheels and narrow side skirts; this is indeed true as the Object 43x were the numbers used by the T-64 family and their competitors or prototypes. The Object 435 still used the irregular and angular UFP design from the Object 430 (while 432 was the T-64 itself, the LRIP variants with 115 mm gun), players will see 3 triangular plates on the UFP at 120 mm (front plate) and 40 mm (side plates) respectively; aside from that, the tank looks like an irregular T-62 from afar. The protection might look similar to previous T-54 (1947) with a 120 mm UFP at 60°, some might even start to consider it will be easy for APDS or late full-caliber shell to penetrate the UFP; this might be true to tanks like M103 or Conqueror with high-penetration shells at their tier, but once the other tanks do so, they will most likely find their attempt fruitless as the UFP can provide up to 360 mm RHA equivalent even without composite armor. To say at least, for ensured penetrations, enemies will have to bring in vehicles with HEAT or APFSDS to penetrate the UFP. In most cases tanks below its tier could only rely on HEAT warhead to defeat the armor; but in some cases, the joints between the triangular plates can be vulnerable to full-caliber APCBC shots and hit the fuel tank/ammo storages, causing an explosion or even "Jack-in-the-Box" type detonation; sometimes the area around the mantle provides inconsistent protection where penetrated APCBC can damage the gun or even knock-out the crews in extreme cases.

The sides and rear are similar to previous Soviet medium tanks at 80 mm/40 mm (vs 80 mm/45 mm), while the sides has side skirts and tool boxes to stop oncoming shots from autocannons, the hull itself doesn't; if shots penetrated the sides, due to the cramped interior of the tank, either the crews will suffer fatal damages or ammunitions scattered around the center-mass will detonate. So do not show the sides to the enemies for the maximum survivability to Object 435.

The mobility of the Object 435 is slightly improved over the T-62, with a slightly higher power-to-weight ratio thanks to the new Kharkov 5TD engine at 580 hp output. The reverse speed has also been improved by a small amount. Unfortunately it still lacks behind speedy MBTs like the Leopard or AMX-30, so it is not great for flanking or rushing vantage points.

The 115 mm U-5TS smoothbore cannon is the same as on the T-62. It reloads more quickly than the T-10M's 122 mm rifled gun, but lags far behind NATO guns. It is very important to make every shot count. The Object 435 does enjoy a better turret rotation speed than the T-62, matching the T-64A (1971), which is helpful for brawling. One degree of gun depression is lost compared to the T-62.
Ammunition
The Object 435's ammunition needs no introduction to T-62 veterans. The stock 3BM4 round is a solid steel dart with a high muzzle velocity and good angled penetration. It has poor flat penetration, especially compared to the T-10M's heavy 3BM-11 APDS, but practically any tank can be dispatched with a shot to the hull. Even after the other ammunition types are unlocked, 3BM4 should be a staple in the Object 435's arsenal.

The 3BM3 tungsten-cored APFSDS has much greater flat penetration, but its angled penetration is degraded significantly. Since the Object 435 will meet very few enemy tanks that 3BM3 would perform better against than 3BM4, it should be mostly disregarded.

The 3BK4 HEAT-FS round is quite impressive within its class, with good penetration and TNT equivalent. It has less consistent damage than APFSDS and can be defeated by ERA, so it should be reserved for either overpressuring light targets or attacking huge steel behemoths like the Maus or Object 279 that can sometimes block APFSDS.

The 3OF11 is an ordinary HE shell containing 2.64 kg of TNT. While it's enough to overpressure light vehicles, it's a far cry from the infamous 125 mm 3OF26 rounds of later Soviet MBTs and will have a difficult time damaging anything with decent protection. The Object 435's slow reload also makes it very dangerous if an armoured target shows up when a HE shell is loaded. It helps to bring several for smacking light tanks or exposed cupolas opportunistically, but it should not be relied on as a primary tool.

The Object 435 has a pintle-mounted KPVT heavy machine gun on the loader's cupola and a coaxial SGMT general-purpose machine gun. The SGMT isn't worth writing home about but the high-calibre KPVT definitely is. With a mixed belt of API-T, cermet core, and IAI rounds, it can shred many light targets from at least the sides and is very good at setting helicopters and planes ablaze. The 50 round belt capacity is low, but it's enough to provide a good volume of fire while the tank's main cannon is reloading.

Keep in mind that since the KPVT is not a coaxial weapon, it is unavailable if the loader is knocked out. So the T-10M is still better as a KPVT carrier, having both coaxial and pintle mounts.

Usage in battles
<!-- Describe the tactics of playing in the vehicle, the features of using vehicles in the team and advice on tactics. Refrain from creating a "guide" - do not impose a single point of view but instead give the reader food for thought. Describe the most dangerous enemies and give recommendations on fighting them. If necessary, note the specifics of the game in different modes (AB, RB, SB). -->

The Object 435 looks and acts like a cross between the T-62 and T-64. Most of its characteristics are similar to the T-62, so it is worth examining which aspects are different.

The Object's offensive power is generally superior. The improvements to mobility and turret traverse make it a more effective brawler in urban combat and the KPVT machine gun is a helpful supplemental weapon; while a T-62 would need to hide and retreat if a light target survived a hit from the main gun, the Object can spray them down with 14.5 mm rounds and finish the job. Armoured targets can still be stripped of their tracks and barrels. At long distances, the new optical rangefinder is helpful for landing precise hits, even if it is not as effective as a laser rangefinder.

The main weakness of the Object 435 is that it has no sources of smoke, with no grenades, ESS, or smoke shells. This makes it difficult to escape from a bad situation or cover a retreat, so careful positioning is very important. Another flaw is its fixed-zoom, narrow FOV optics with 8.0x zoom. While this is fine at long distances, the lack of a low-zoom, wide FOV option can be an issue in close combat for players used to the T-55/T-62 family.

Pros and cons
The prototype Object 435 medium tank was the most advanced in a series of experimental tanks being developed by Kharkov plant No. 75 under the "new medium tank" program at the very beginning of the 1960s. The Object 435 became a test vehicle for the newly developed 115mm U-5TS Molot unitary-loading smoothbore cannon that was later installed on tanks of the T-62 family. The tank had a short hull and an original hull armor layout at the front, which was supposed to provide the vehicle with a high level of protection against kinetic munitions. The Object 435 was canceled in 1961 in favor of another prototype, Object 432. A survivor Object 435 tank is on display at Patriot park near Moscow.
