The name is a rank rank German fighter Battle-rating. It has been in the game since the start of the Open Beta Test prior to Update 1.27 in the German aviation tree. In Update 1.69 "Regia Aeronautica", the G.50 as well as the other Italian planes in the German tech tree were moved to the new Italian tree, although it still exists in the German tree for those who unlocked it prior to Update 1.69.

The Fiat G.50 is the oldest of the Series 0 planes, its fellow stablemates are the M.C 200 and Re 2000, both built around the same 860 HP radial engine and having the same armament.
Examine the most dangerous enemies and give recommendations on fighting them. If necessary, note the specifics of the game in different modes (AB, RB, SB). -->
In general, it is a slightly worse version of the M.C 200, and as such, it very much flies the same, albeit a little bit slower. With its decent rate of climb, it's generally best to ensure you have proper altitude to play around with first. Generally for low tier planes like the G.50, 3000 - 4000 meters is generally enough, from there, the way of flying should be dedicated by the situation and opponents. Its good acceleration in dives and respectable dive speeds means it can be used as a pure Boom and Zoomer, especially when you realise its energy retention is better than that of many other planes at its BR. However, it is a decent turn-fighter, barring the poor acceleration so it can be used as such as well. Be careful against regular biplanes and Japanese monoplanes, both of which are considerably better, bar high speeds, where the stiffness of controls on the G.50 are less than on either biplanes or Japanese planes.

The Fiat G.50 Freccia is a typical Italian pre-war design, it's fairly sturdy, has modest speed and poor armament consisting of 2 Breda SAFAT 12.7 mm guns mounted in the upper cowling, which means it has the distinctive low rate of fire (roughly 400 rounds per minutes). However it does have its merits as well, it's fairly agile, it has no trouble dogfighting Hurricanes it will commonly face, and if things become too hectic, the G.50 can quickly escape by going into a dive, and exploit its surprisingly good dive acceleration to gain separation. Furthermore, it pays to be aware of its modest acceleration and overheating, as such, it's generally advised to maintain an eye on your speed and use WEP sparingly.

For the armament, the same applies to all other Italian aircraft; generally, you want to use Tracers, Air targets or Stealth since they are the belts that deal the most damage. Shell velocity is low, hence they suffer above 300 meters, so only fire at or below that range for best effects. Furthermore, much like the other Italian fighters, the armament is woefully inadequate to deal with bombers, hence it is best to avoid them entirely, or focus on taking out the engines. The only exceptions are the very early biplane bombers, such as the Swordfish, Po-2 and the likes.

In-game description
The G.50 Freccia (“Arrow”) was the first Italian all-metal monoplane fighter, which, although clearly inferior to allied fighters of the time, was the best Italian fighter aircraft.

Development of the fighter began in 1936, at the request of the Italian Air Force, and ended with the creation of an easy-to-manage and extremely maneuverable interceptor. The "Arrow" used such modern technology as a constant-speed all-metal propeller and variable pitch, as well as retractable landing gear. The “Arrow,” however, could not take advantage of the monoplane design because its engine was too weak (at 840 horsepower). The aircraft’s limited armament was also a weakness - it had two synchronous large-caliber machine guns with 150 rounds of ammunition.

The first series of 45 G.50s, production of which began in late 1937, had a closed cockpit, and while it provided relatively good visibility, the pilots were not very enthusiastic about it, so the second series of planes (200 aircraft) were built with an open cockpit. All in all, 833 G.50s were build (including all variants).

Besides Italy, the plane served in Finland, Croatia, and Spain as well.
The name (Panzer IV Ausf. G) is a rank rank German medium tank Battle-rating. It was introduced during the Closed Beta Test for Ground Forces before Update 1.41. Compared to its predecessor, the Ausf. G grants a 80 mm front armour plate for increased front survivability, yet retains the same firepower with the 75 mm L/43 gun. The increased armour leads to an increase in weight, which also led to a reduced maximum forward speed.

The Ausf. G variant of the Panzer IV line-up takes the play style of both its predecessor (F2) and successor (H), with the long 75 mm L/43 KwK 40 gun and now a decent 80 mm of frontal armour, good enough to survive encounters with the formidable Shermans and T-34s. It is still light enough to retain a good speed, but well armoured to survive the introduction into Rank III game-play. Due to this, it can perform a variety of play style such as front-line assault, support, and as a flanker.

The most notable external signs of the Panzer IV G compared to its other brothers is the distinctive Dunkelgelb yellow coat on the body, though this will be invalid if it uses an alternate camouflage. In comparison to its successors, the Ausf. H and J, the Panzer IV G has no Schürzen skirts on the turret and hull. Smaller differences are the usage of a double-baffle muzzle brake, a feature that may confuse player for the longer L/48 75 mm gun. There is also the presence of a wheel rack on the left side of the tank holding two wheels (not pictured). Unlike its predecessors and successors, the Ausf. G also comes with smoke launchers on either side of the turret, enabling the tank to defensively saturate an area with smoke; however, unlike launching smoke grenades from inside the tank, all smoke grenades are launched in succession and cannot be launched individually.
* Lower glacis is protected by attached spare tracks, adding 20 mm of armour

The Panzer IV Ausf. G, despite the improved 80 mm front plate, is still vulnerable to most front shot engagement, especially so if no serious attempt is made in compound angling. The front plate in its unsloped format is an enticing target, but beware to not hit the front sloping glacis right in front of it as that area has a tendency to bounce everything. Also, avoid hitting straight into the ball machine gun and driver's port in the front as these also have a tendency to nullify an armour-piercing shot. When using APHE rounds, simply hit centre mass of the front plate and let the post-penetration effect do the rest.

In the case of a vehicle with a gun simply unable to penetrate this front plate, aim towards the turret that still retains a 50 mm front plate. Even the weaker non-autocannon armaments can penetrate through this front plate and incapacitate the turret crew. Aim for the turret left side (right side when shooting it) to knock out the gunner and deny their firepower, then chip away at weak spots until the threat is destroyed.

Alternatively, aim at the Panzer IV from its long vulnerable sides in cases where its turret traverse cannot keep up with a flanking manoeuvre or catching it in an ambush. The interior is fully stocked with ammo racks even when the user is taking a minimum load. Moreover, the fuel tank resides at the very bottom of the centre of the tank, so a penetrating shot with APHE will either detonate the ammunition, set the tank on fire, or knock out a good portion of the crew, if not fully destroy the tank with all three effects.

In every case scenario, it is to the benefit of the surviving player to fire the first shot against the Panzer IV Ausf. G above all else, as it would deny the Panzer IV G even a chance to use its high-penetrating 75 mm gun.

*PzGr 39 - Armour Piercing Ballistic Cap shell - This should be the main ammo type, always use this if positive the gun can penetrate enemy armour. It deals the most damage because of its explosive filler.
*PzGr 40 - Armour Piercing Composite Rigid shell - This type of ammo should be used only if there will be trouble penetrating the opponent, or trying to hit a fast-moving tank at some distance. However, its damaging potential is much lower because it has no explosive filler to further enhance damage after the penetration. It can be also used against highly sloped armour like on the T-34 tanks or the M10 tank destroyer, as it does not ricochet so easily.
*Hl.Gr. 38B - High Explosive Anti Tank shell - it is recommended to completely avoid this kind of shell as its performance is vastly inferior in all aspects compared to APCBC or APCR ammo used by this tank.
Refrain from creating a "guide" - do not impose a single point of view but give the reader food for thought. Describe the most dangerous enemies and give recommendations on fighting them. If necessary, note the specifics of the game in different modes (AB, RB, SB).-->
The Ausf. G can be utilized as both a sniper and brawler, thanks to its improved armour and great gun - however, situational awareness must be maintained at all costs as the un-sloped armour, while an improvement over the Ausf. F2 is still not sufficient to provide reliable defence. It is best to shoot first, as the KWK 40 L/43 can deal with the majority of enemies it will face. Heavy tanks like the KV and M6A1 will need careful aim but are still not a major threat. Like most German tanks, the default round is the best round available; however, the maximum load should be avoided (around 30 is sufficient) as it increases the chance of ammo rack explosions if the armour is penetrated.

In close quarters/urban settings, it can also perform adequately due to the average turret traverse rate, mobility, and high-punching gun. A good tactic is to launch the smoke grenades and flank enemies that are aware of the Panzer's presence.

The L/43 75 mm KwK 40 gun still packs a powerful punch at this rank. A solid hit on a target's front armour that's not using compound angling is very likely to penetrate. At the battle rating of 4.3, the Ausf. G's worst heavily armoured vehicle it will fight will be the KV series and the M6 heavy tank, both of which have prominent weak spots that can be exploited. Shoot first, hit hard and don't miss.

The Churchill VII is also a common sight in higher rank games. It has thick armour and a gun that is effective against the Panzer's weak turret armour. Under 500 m, it is advisable to use APCR, which is effective against the Churchills flat armour. If the Churchill is angling, the best method is to try flanking or aiming for its weak machine gun ports.

Pros:

* Better armour than predecessors, 80 mm thick at the hull front
* Cupola armour greatly improved to 95 mm thick
* Great gun depression - no need to expose hull when shooting over hills
* High APCR shell velocity (919 m/s) makes targeting moving tanks easy
* Large ammo capacity
* Good mobility on hard ground

Cons:

* Poor ammo storage protection, prone to detonation if penetrated
* Turret front armour is unchanged at only 50 mm thick
* Narrow tracks and quite heavyweight -> Poor cross-country performance - in soft terrain it isn't much faster, or more agile than the heavier Tiger Tank
* Rate of fire is not very impressive

Development
The Pz.Kpfw. IV's creation, like its predecessor the Pz.Kpfw. III, was devised by Heinz Guderian. He envisioned a support tank that could be used to handle anti-tank guns and fortifications. In Panzer Divisions, the Panzer IV was to work alongside the more numerable Panzer III (three company of IIIs and one of IVs). The role of anti-armour was reserved for the Panzer III in these situations. As a support tank, the Panzer IV was to have the short 75 mm howitzer as its main armament and also a weight limit of 24 tons. MAN, Krupp, and Rheinmetall-Borsig worked on the development of the tanks, but the Krupp's model was selected for further testing.

The chosen model from Krupp, once finished, used a leaf-spring double-bogie system for its suspension, doing away the proposed interleaved or torsion bar suspension system earlier devised for the sake of faster production. The vehicle held five crew members - the commander, gunner, loader, radio operator (hull machine gunner), and driver. Though it looked symmetrical, the Panzer IV's turret was actually offset to the left of the chassis centre line while the engine was also offset to the right. This was to allow the torque shaft to turn the turret. The offset also meant that most of the ammo was held on the right side of the tank in storage areas. The Panzer IV was then accepted into service and production began in 1936.

Panzer IV Ausf. G
With the appearance of the Soviet T-34 and KV-1 tanks, the Panzer IV Ausf. F2 was made as a stopgap solution with a new and more powerful KwK 40 L/43 gun. After three months into production, the Panzer IV was upgraded again to the Panzer IV Ausf. G. The Ausf. G featured a stronger 80 mm thick front glacis armour with 30 mm side armour. Some weight-saving techniques were put into play, but the tank still weighed about 23.6 tons and put strain onto the driving system. Some simplification went into the tank such as the removal of the vision ports on the sides of the turret.

The Panzer IV Ausf. G was also the first variant on the Panzer IV line to feature some new innovative features. In March 1943, the Ausf. G was presented with the first of the Schürzen side armour skirts on the turret and hull sides. On the later models, the KwK 40 L/43 was also upgraded to the L/48 variant, simply a longer version with a better muzzle brake to improve recoil efficiency.

The Panzer IV Ausf. G was well-liked by the armoured crews due to increased armour and lethality against the progressively stronger Allied armour such as the T-34s and the M4 Shermans. While the 50 mm armour before was deemed very vulnerable to the Allied guns, the 80 mm caused some headaches among Allied tankers, though could still come on-par in performances. At this point, the newer Panther tanks in production should have replaced the venerable Panzer IV by now, but production problems and low quantity meant the Panzer IV was staying at the main tank for the German Army for a while.

The Panzer IV Ausf. G was then upgraded again to the Panzer IV Ausf. H, which would become the most numerous variant of all the Panzer IVs.

In-game description
"The first changes of this variant, which were carried out in the summer of 1942, included a new two-chamber pear-shaped muzzle brake. The viewports in the front plates of the turret and the view hatch in its forward plate were removed. Smoke grenade launchers were moved from the rear of the hull to the sides of the turret. The tank was given an ignition assistance system for winter conditions.
Since the 50-mm-thick front armor of the Pz.Kpfw. IV was still inadequate, it was strengthened with additional 30 mm armor plates that were welded or bolted on. The thickness of the front plates on the turret and the weapon mantlet was 50 mm, and this thickness was not increased in future upgrades.

Improving the machines' protective armor during production was a slow process, and by November only about half of the tanks included the reinforced armor. This armor was only installed on all new tanks from January 1943 onward. In the spring of 1943, the 75 mm 7,5 cm KwK 40 L/43 gun on this variant was replaced with a 7,5 cm Kw.K.40 L/48 with a long 48 caliber barrel, which had slightly higher armor penetration power. By the Battle of Kursk, almost all of the tanks had received Schurzen skirts for their sides and turrets.

Production of Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf. G tanks lasted until June 1943, with a total of 1687 units being produced. Of this number, about 700 tanks received the reinforced armor, and 412 had the KwK 40 L/48 gun installed.

This variant made up the majority of Pz.Kpfw. IV tanks which participated in Operation Citadel.
Ausf. G tanks were supplied to Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Turkey, and Spain. The Bulgarian and Romanian machines fought against the Red Army, and after they joined the Allies, against the German military. Captured Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf. F tanks which were still serviceable were eagerly used by the Red Army."
Description
The Tiger II (H) Simmerit Sla.16 diesel powered is a purchasable vehicle via bundle on the Gaijin store. This variant comes with premium bonuses and the experimental installation of a diesel power engine, increasing its mobility vastly. But the vehicle functions near identically to the in-tree regular varient. It sits at 6.7, Tier 4. It fits into the 6.7 lineup very well, and can be utilised greatly in battle because of it's enhanced combat capabilities.

General info
Survivability and armour
Describe armour protection. Note the most well protected and key weak areas. Appreciate the layout of modules as well as the number and location of crew members. Is the level of armour protection sufficient, is the placement of modules helpfull for survival in combat?

If necessary use a visual template to indicate the most secure and weak zones of the armour.

Mobility
This vehicle if you didn't already know is bestowed with a higher performance experimental diesel engine, making it far quicker than the in-tree variant of the Tiger II (H). This means you can get into battle quicker than you're allied Tiger IIs. The traverse both neutral and in motion are considerably and noticeably much quicker, making flankers easier to deal with if you don't already die to themgetting the first shot off. The top speed on road forwards is around 25-30mph, and the reverse gear is surprisingly good at 10mph on average backwards.

Armaments
Main armament
The main gun this Panzer beholds is the KwK/43 88mm long-barreled gun. This gun performs astoundingly well for this BR, offering high muzzle velocity, a large diameter, and more than enough post-penetrational damage. The muzzle velocity of this gun sits at around 1000m/s for APCBC and 1400m/s for the APCR round, also receiving HEAT shells, making it an exceptional sniper and brawler alike. The APCBC stock shell gets a fair amount of explosive filler with a wide one shot capability upon penetration. This shell exceeds in ammo-racks, so aim for ammo stowage on the enemy vehicle. The APCR should only really be used for long range engagements on enemies you cannot punch through with APCBC alone, but does offer significantly higher penetration at the expense of post-pen damage, making it a very situational round. The same can be applied to the HEAT shell, as penetration dropoff does not matter on angled armour layouts, but instead offers poor penetration values.

Machine guns
This tank, unlike the in tree version, receives and additional top mount MG34 7.62mm machine gun, located atop the commanders cupola with a wide arc of fire, designed for anti-aircraft purposes. However, this extra gun proves inadequate at efficiently dealing damage to aircraft and so should be used more prominently as a spotting tool or light armour remedy.

Usage in the battles
Considering most of the players which use this vehicle will be using it in RB/SB, this section will cater to them. This vehicle can be used as a brawler and a sniper equally, with its potent gun and reliable armour layout, this tank can take a fair few shots before expiring. Try not to let your flanks become exposed if playing in urban maps, open maps you should stick to towns or hills and remain hull down to utilise your thick turret cheeks well. Aim for noticeable weak spots on enemies, ie. lower glacis shots or ammo shots will more often than not result in a kill, you will adapt over time and learn where the weak spots of most opposing vehicles. This tank acts more as a support tank considering it's BR hardly correlates with the era it was designed in, therefore most tanks you'll face have stabilisers and sufficient suspension dampening, putting you at a disadvantage if you can't train your gun onto the target first.

Pros and cons
Pros:

* Considerably quicker than the in-tree variant, acceleration is noticeably much more efficient, because of it's diesel engine.
* Astounding frontal armour when angled, however turret cheeks around the mantlet are where people with typically aim for first.
* Great turret traverse for its size, at around 14 degrees per second.
* Reasonably efficient reload speed with an aced crew.
* 88mm gun KwK/43 is one of the best at its tier, with capability of one-shotting most opponents if penetrated, not many targets can efficiently bounce or absorb its shot.
* Guns penetration is great for it's tier.
* APCBC gets a decent amount of explosive filler.
* 12 smoke grenades launched individually by the gunner from the top of the turret.
* Fast neutral traverse, good traverse rate in general.
* Cupola mounted extra MG34, good for dealing with open topped or lightly armoured vehicles.

*

Cons:

* As of recently, the ready rack forces ammunition to be placed in the rear of the turret, making an easy target for flankers.
* Susceptible to being flanked.
* Frontal armour considerably easy to go through with HEAT-FS shells found on most tanks at 6.7.
* Will have to face vehicles such as the IS-6 and T-54 in an uptier, both of which can reliably withstand a shot to the turret or hull frontally.
* Rarely gets into a downtier match.
* Still arguably slow comparing it to other vehicles at it's BR.

*

History
Describe the history of the creation and combat usage of the ground vehicle in more detail than in the introduction. If the historical reference turns out to be too big, take it to a separate article, taking a link to an article about the vehicle and adding a block "/historical reference" (example: https://wiki.warthunder.com/Name-vehicles/historical reference) and add a link to it here using the
main
template. === Survivability and armour ===
This plane is not suited for turnfights, but rather excels at energy fighting, regardless of its reasonably low mass, and so will not last long in the aformantioned fighting technique. The front glass plate of the cockpit sits at 57mm thick, whilst the pilot is protected from the rear by 2 plates, 8mm and 12mm thick respectively. The engine is prone to damage in head on's and strafes due to the lack of armour protection around the engine cowling.

Armaments
Offensive armament
The Fw-190 C receives 2 MG/151 20mm cannons mounted in the inner wings behind the propeller, and 2 MG17 7.92mm machine guns mounted in the nose, the standard for German aircraft at this point in the tree. The 20mms get 500 rounds of ammo with their respective belts making them considerably deadly and optimal for longer battles. The MG17s get 1800 rounds of ammo but do lesser amounts of damage, best used in combination with the 20mms, but can be used to effectively peck damage lighter aircraft.

Usage in battles
Describe the tactics of playing in an aircraft, the features of using vehicles in a team and advice on tactics. Refrain from creating a "guide" - do not impose a single point of view, but instead give the reader food for thought. The name (also known as the pseudonym) is a Rank rank British tank destroyer 1. It was released along with the entire British tree line in Update 1.55 "Royal Armour". The Archer is a unique tank destroyer, as its gun faces the rear of the tank. The Archer can be good at both close combat- so long as you have somewhere to retreat to- and is also good at sniping. In a sense, you might consider the Archer to have two forward directions.

The Archer's armament is very good at this battle rating. The same cannon is even used on Rank III and IV tanks like the A30 Challenger and the Firefly. Its 9.0 second reload speed is not bad, but there are faster firing cannons at this rank such as both short and long German 75mm cannons, or the M4A1's cannon. However, the Archer can instantly destroy many enemy tanks, and if it doesn't destroy them it will damage them. If the enemy is not destroyed and they can shoot you, retreat and reload. Once reloaded you can try to destroy the enemy tank, but if its aiming in your direction you can try sneaking up on it. The Archer does not have a turret, but its gun can traverse further left and right than most non-turreted tank destroyers, including the III F and SU-122. While these tank destroyers have a higher battle rating than the Archer, you may still encounter them.
Usage in the battles
You should use the true forward direction (Opposite of the gun) to travel from place to place as its reverse speed is low. You should travel in the direction of the gun when approaching an enemy or an area with combat taking place. Once you can shoot the enemy, fire a round at them and quickly go in the true forward direction to retreat. The same applies to when you're sniping, fire a shot and retreat. Again, the Archer can be played in both close combat and sniping, but be sure not to get too close.

The Archer has an open top, so you will need to be careful about machine guns and artillery. Its faster forward speed can allow you to escape from planes who are attacking you. You should also note that the Archer is faster than all three Valentines. While it is based on a Valentine, its reverse speed is about double the reverse speed of a Valentine, and its forward speed is about 9 km/h faster.

When ever facing tanks of any battle rating and rank, always be on alert and always have a back up plan as most tanks may be able to knock out the Archer in one shot. Do not worry, always play safely and stay at a reasonable distance from the cap circle or in an area which can be a chock point for the enemy team. Always make sure you are in an area where they have to face the tank from in the cannon's arc to always have a first shot opportunity and have the enemy back off from charging straight into the Archer's field of fire. If a plane or tank starts strafing the Archer, pull out and find a new location as that place is now compromised and a wary pilot or flanking enemy could put an end to the Archer's career.

Modules
As usual, it is recommended to research "Parts" first, particularly due to the vehicle's need to expose its engine to aim at an enemy. Engine damage is, of course, very crippling, and unfortunately a recurrent phenomenon for the Archer, and as such repairing it is priority whenever it occurs. After that, you should research the Horizontal Drive because the Archer's turret traverse speed is sluggish.

Pros and cons
Pros:

*Ability to move faster in the opposite direction of the gun can allow for a quick retreat.
*The vehicle's cannon is good for its battle rating.
*The vehicle's horizontal cannon traverse traverse is wider than most turret-less tank destroyers.
*The direction configuration can confuse or surprise enemies.

Cons:

*It can be hard to master this vehicle as the gun does not face forward.
*Because the gun faces the rear of the vehicle, the enemy can shoot your engine and immobilise you when you engage.
*Only travels about 4 km/h backwards, which makes it hard to move in the direction of your gun.
*Very slow cannon traverse speed makes aiming at moving targets difficult.
*Heavy Calibre fire, especially from 20mm's will rip through armour at any angle, but the transmission within the firing arc can soak up shots.

History
Development
The production of the 17-pounder anti-tank gun for British service gave the British military firepower capable of destroying the heavier German tanks, however the gun's heavy weight and bulkiness presented a mobility issue for the crew. An attempt to make a mobile version was done in 1942, first with the 3 inch Gun Carrier as a self-propelled mount, then with the M10 tank destroyer from the Americans which proved more successful. Another project done was to use obsolete tank chassis and convert them into mounts for use, like the Crusader cruiser tanks and the Valentine infantry gun. The Valentine was chosen for further development as it was one of the more reliable tanks in British service and had the specifications needed to mount the gun. The modified Valentine, known as the Self Propelled 17pdr, Valentine, Mk.I, Archer, was given a more powerful engine and a case mate superstructure on the front. The most distinctive feature of the Archer compared to any other tank destroyers in the war was that its gun is not facing forward, rather to the rear. This had a benefit of reducing the vehicle's length by making the gun stretch out over the rear hull of the vehicle, limiting the gun from extending over the vehicle. The rear gun mounting, despite its unorthodox method, allowed the Archer to become an excellent ambush weapon, by firing at targets with its gun and able to speed away forward at full speed rather than reverse. The first prototype of the Archer was made in 1943, trials were carried out in April 1943, which concluded favorable and was 800 was ordered from Vickers and accepted into service in October 1944. Vickers were able to complete 655 Archer tank destroyers from March 1943 to until the end of the war in May 1945.

Combat usage
The Archer was used in the Italian front and the European campaign against Germany. As a self-propelled gun, the Royal artillery had authority over the tank destroyer just like other tank destroyers in British service. Reception to the Archer proved that the crews favor the Archer over the M10 Achilles due to the better tactics the Archer presented by shooting then speeding away before the enemy could discover them. Though the drawbacks of the crew positions, open-topped superstructure, and limited gun traverse limited the Archer's capabilities, this was mitigated by its role as a tank destroyer and was used in World War II until the end.

Britain continued to use the Archer up until the 1950s. Once retired, some were sold to the Egyptian Army, to which they reported using it during the Suez Canal crisis in 1956. After that, no further action reports are known with the Archers.
