== Usage in battles ==

It is basically a modified [[Me 262 A-1a]] and should be played in a similar fashion (air superiorityfighter or bomber interceptor). However, the Me 262 A-1a/Jabo can be brought into Ground RB more effectively than the previous model since it has the ability to carry 2 x 250 kg bombs, 1 x 500 kg bomb or 2 x Wfr.Gr.21 rockets, which can also be equipped in the rare [[Me 262 A-2a]] Sturmvogel.

== History ==
The Me262 was one of the first jets of the German Luftwaffe that was actually added to the fleet. It was the first jet that was produced in a series in any Airforce around the world. Between 1943 and 1945 there were about 1400 Me262 produced. The Me262 was supposed to have the BMW P-3302 jet engines. These could not be produced quickly enough so they decided to switch to the Junker Jumo-210G-Hubkolbenmotor. The Me262 had two of these Jet engines. These engines had a Problem with giving full throttle as they would often break when pushed to full throttle too fast. This version of the Me262 was fittet with 4x30mm MK108 machine Guns in the nose of the aircraft. This was very usefull as a close air support. It could also be fitted with 55mm R4M rockets to fire at tanks.
