The F-84F has decent armour surrounding the pilot including bulletproof glass and steel plates. However there is no armour for critical systems and everything is packed together in the middle of the aircraft. A few hits to the middle of the aircraft will most likely destroy it.&lt;br /&gt;

The F-84F has the somewhat common base armament of 6 x M3 Browning machine guns. This combined with its large ammo capacity makes for an aircraft well-suited to dogfighting. Achieving air superiority should be the primary task for all F-84F pilots, the F-84F also excels in a support role, where most of enemies can't simply run away from it. In air battles, it has access to an airspawn, which means that you are able to engage enemies more quickly, giving the F-84F a very aggressive type of play-style. It is recommended to bring minimal fuel to boost its acceleration and climb rate, do note that bringing a lot of payload will seriously affect your overall mobility, the more payload the heavier, and slower, the aircraft is. If you are inclined to bring a lot of payload, make sure you dispose of it before entering a dogfight, as more often than not you will be knocked out as your flight characteristics won't be on par with most enemies you'll face. When the first enemies engage with allies, go over them and find targets with low energy states and destroy them. Do not chase lone planes, as although the enemy might look like an easy 1-vs-1 victory, the F-84F's low top speed makes it very hard to catch somebody. Try not to engage in a prolonged dogfight, because the F-84F has rather poor energy retention and when caught slow even good acceleration won't save the plane. In a prolonged turnfight, one may find themselves losing even against jets like the MiG-15. Another thing is that you have an adequate ammunition count, so in theory you could stay in combat for a long time if you time your shots and selectively engage enemies you have an advantage over. Destroying bombers and attackers is also a feasible option thanks to the powerful armament.&lt;br /&gt;

In the late 1940's, the manufacturer 'Republic' sought to improve the performance of the F-84 in order to bring it closer in line with the F-86 Sabre. As a result, it developed a new variant of the Thunderjet, designated F-84F. The new aircraft featured, among other changes, a new swept wing and a more powerful engine than its predecessor. Although Republic initially intended the new aircraft to be an extensive modernization of the base F-84, possessing a high degree of part compatibility with preceding variants, in the end, only less than 20% of the parts were interchangeable, resulting in the F-84F Thunderstreak becoming its own independent design.&lt;br /&gt;

Following its maiden flight in the early 1950's, the F-84F was ordered into production. However, the USAF focus on strategic bombers at the time resulted in some critical component manufacturing processes being prioritized for bomber production, ultimately leading to a staggered production start of the new F-84F.&lt;br /&gt;

The Thunderstreak officially entered service with the USAF in 1954, but was quickly phased out of active service due to engine issues before being reactivated in the early 1960's as tensions between the two superpowers began to rise again. Ultimately, the F-84F kept flying under American colors well into the early 1970's before finally being retired as newer aircraft replaced the Thunderstreak in active service.&lt;br /&gt;

The F-84F was also widely exported to NATO members. Chiefly among them were Germany, France, Italy, Belgium, Greece, China, the Netherlands as well as others. The F-84F has the somewhat common base armament of 6 x M3 Browning machine guns. This combined with its large ammo capacity makes for an aircraft well-suited to dogfighting. Achieving air superiority should be the primary task for all F-84F pilots, the F-84F also excels in a support role, where most of enemies can't simply run away from it. In air battles, it has access to an airspawn, which means that you are able to engage enemies more quickly, giving the F-84F a very aggressive type of play-style. It is recommended to bring minimal fuel to boost its acceleration and climb rate, do note that bringing a lot of payload will seriously affect your overall mobility, the more payload the heavier, and slower, the aircraft is. If you are inclined to bring a lot of payload, make sure you dispose of it before entering a dogfight, as more often than not you will be knocked out as your flight characteristics won't be on par with most enemies you'll face. When the first enemies engage with allies, go over them and find targets with low energy states and destroy them. Do not chase lone planes, as although the enemy might look like an easy 1-vs-1 victory, the F-84F's low top speed makes it very hard to catch somebody. Try not to engage in a prolonged dogfight, because the F-84F has rather poor energy retention and when caught slow even good acceleration won't save the plane. In a prolonged turnfight, one may find themselves losing even against jets like the MiG-15. Another thing is that you have an adequate ammunition count, so in theory you could stay in combat for a long time if you time your shots and selectively engage enemies you have an advantage over. Destroying bombers and attackers is also a feasible option thanks to the powerful armament.&lt;br /&gt;

In the late 1940's, the manufacturer 'Republic' sought to improve the performance of the F-84 in order to bring it closer in line with the F-86 Sabre. As a result, it developed a new variant of the Thunderjet, designated F-84F. The new aircraft featured, among other changes, a new swept wing and a more powerful engine than its predecessor. Although Republic initially intended the new aircraft to be an extensive modernization of the base F-84, possessing a high degree of part compatibility with preceding variants, in the end, only less than 20% of the parts were interchangeable, resulting in the F-84F Thunderstreak becoming its own independent design.&lt;br /&gt;

Following its maiden flight in the early 1950's, the F-84F was ordered into production. However, the USAF focus on strategic bombers at the time resulted in some critical component manufacturing processes being prioritized for bomber production, ultimately leading to a staggered production start of the new F-84F.&lt;br /&gt;

The Thunderstreak officially entered service with the USAF in 1954, but was quickly phased out of active service due to engine issues before being reactivated in the early 1960's as tensions between the two superpowers began to rise again. To use this tank effectively do not charge straight into battle, instead, go around. Use the terrain, make it harder to be identifiable by selecting the appropriate camouflage and navigate using the map. However, do not let the Magach 3 be seen and the longer it can stay hidden, the higher the chances of finding more tanks off guard and surviving the match. Try to attack from long distances: The Magach 3 has a very powerful and accurate cannon. This can be equipped with some of the most lethal ammunition in the game. Playing on maps which have villages, towns, and city centres modelled, such as Poland, Advance to the Rhine, Normandy etc. These require a more specific tactic to survive in these locations as being flanked and not knowing about it until it's too late is very common. A good way of preventing this while using a Magach tank is to not enter the urban environment. In these environments, the Magach 3 will be normally too close for the armour to work as effectively. However, if going around the sides of the town and move in and out of streets, this will prevent the enemy team to predict where the Magach will go. The Magach, once upgraded, offers some of the best handling in the game, use that as an advantage in narrow and congested streets.&lt;br /&gt;

When engaging with other medium tanks, the Magach 3 offers an excellent gun which can dominate any other medium tank. If the HEATFS is unlocked, the Magach will be able to terminate any tank with one hit most of the time. The closer to the enemy tank, the higher the odds of ending it with an instant termination. When using HESH rounds, do not hit the sides of the enemy tank, it won't really do much damage. However, when the enemy has exposed the front, especially the Upper Glacis of the tank, using the HESH rounds will cause a lot of damage to the Crew and could also end that tank in one shot. Your main round for most of the situations is the M111 APFSDS. It can penetrate 195mm RHAe at 60 degrees at point blank range and 177mm RHAe at 60 degrees at 2,000 m, and comes with a muzzle velocity of 1,455 m/s, making the M111 one of the strongest penetrating kinetic rounds at 8.3 BR against sloped surfaces. You'll use this round 9/10 times in your engagements. It'll chew up Leopards, T-54s, T-55s, OF-40, Centauros, IS-3s, AMX-30s, STBs and Type 74s at all ranges.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
This round will struggle to penetrate T-10M, IS-4M, IS-7 and Maus if facing from an &amp;quot;awkward angle&amp;quot;. In such a scenario, disable the gun barrel and reposition yourself to take a side shot if the situation permits or disengage from combat.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The default round, the M152 HEATFS round, is a very good round overall, penetrating 400 m at 0 degrees and 200 mm at 60 degrees at any range. However, its usefulness is mitigated by the fact that it has low muzzle velocity than the APFSDS and can be detonated by fences and walls in its path. Carry a few of them to deal with T-10M, IS-4M and Maus at long ranges. Don't try to use the M152 against IS-7 as it has a very complex array of spaced armour behind its main armour.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The M156 is a typical 105 mm HESH round found on all tanks using the L7 guns and its derivatives. Like any HESH round, use it against tanks with surfaces directly in contact with crew and modules(i.e no spaced armour or side skirts). M156 works best against surfaces 100-150 mm in thickness and sloped at 30-60 degrees. This creates the maximum amount of spalling and results in catastrophic damage to crew and modules.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
For example, if you're facing an AMX-30 or T-54/55 from front, hitting the left side of the lower front plate is an easy temptation for initiating an ammo rack explosion, however, players keep forgetting that the ammunition rack is surrounded in front by a fuel tank, which will absorb shaped charges and HESH spalling, making HEAT and HESH rounds not worth the attempt. You can, however, fire the HESH on the sloped but thin turret, which will surely kill at least two crew members in the turret and disable the gun breech.&lt;br /&gt;

Remember, as with HEAT rounds, it can be triggered by obstacles in its path and spaced armour will nullify its effectiveness.&lt;br /&gt;

The Sho't Kal Dalet should be played in a reserved role, taking advantage of its reliable long-ranged Sharir cannon and exceptional protection against shaped charges. Its frontal armour is suited to withstand most HEAT warheads commonly found around its BR.&lt;br /&gt;

The Sho't Kal Dalet's main armament is perfectly capable of disposing of '''all''' threats it encounters thanks to its M111 APFSDS round. Well placed centre of mass attacks will take out even the mighty IS-7 from the front.
