The MiG-15bis is an improved and definitive MiG-15 version, the main difference is the improved engine, the Klimov VK-1. Its level speed at sea level was increased by 26 km/h to 1,076 km/h, but it is still lower than many other jets like for example the F-86 series. &lt;br /&gt;
The other noticeable change is a huge improvement of thrust-to-weight ratio which increased the acceleration by ~10% and it also has a huge impact on its climb rate, it can reach up to 50 m/s at low altitude with full fuel tanks, making the MiG-15bis one of the best climbing planes compared to other planes at similar battle rating.&lt;br /&gt;
Like the previous version, it can not fly at max power for too long or it will start overheating. While decreasing the power to 95% or lower will cool it down for a moment, if you increase it back to 100% it will immediately start overheating again.&lt;br /&gt;

The manoeuvrability compared to the previous variant is basically the same, while this version is slightly worse at performing horizontal manoeuvres due to increased weight (by ~100 kg), it is now better at performing vertical loop and other similar manoeuvres because of the better engine. It struggles against other jets due to its overall poor handling characteristics (poor rudder authority at all speeds, poor roll rate at all speeds).&lt;br /&gt;
At high speed, it does not suffer as much from compressibility but it is still at best mediocre. The elevator and rudder controls remained the same, so the plane still locks up a lot after reaching transonic speeds. Other features stayed the same: airbrakes help with slowing the plane down when it locks up too much and flaps help significantly increase dogfighting capability at low and medium speeds.&lt;br /&gt;

When flying with simulator controls, it is very pleasant to fly: trimming is almost not required when the plane travels at high speed, insufficient roll rate can be improved by using the rudder, but that can also make it slow down. The plane can be stalled out even at high speed, and when above it's critical Angle of Attack it severely wing-stalls, throwing off your aim and/or your heading. Be very carefull to not pull too much from the stick as to not reach this state, remember that it is one of the best rate-fighter of it's tier, so it's best to pull a bit less to keep your speed and not wing-stall as you'll win the position withing a few turns. It's improved roll rate (compared to the normal MiG-15) makes it easier to use against the planes it faces, but it's still less than it's opposition&lt;br /&gt;

After World War II was over, the leaders of the USSR realized that they were behind the leading states of the world in the sphere of jet aircraft construction, most notably in the full-scale production of turbojet engines. Consequently, a delegation including the designers A. I. Mikoyan and V. Y. Klimov was sent to Great Britain towards the end of 1946. Their negotiations were successful, resulting in the purchase of two of the most advanced turbojet engines at that time: the Rolls-Royce Derwent Mk.V and the Rolls-Royce Nene I/Nene II. The British consented to sell their newest strategic designs easily enough, since they believed that the Soviet industrial/technological apparatus could not handle the mass production of sophisticated assemblies. However, very soon that the Rolls-Royce engines were launched into full-scale Soviet production under the designations RD-500 and RD-45.&lt;br /&gt;

The emergence of the new engines led to the creation of Soviet jet fighters able to compete with the leading models of the world. In 1947, the Mikoyan Design Bureau started the development of a front line fighter with a Nene (RD-45) turbojet engine and an airtight cockpit: the I-310 (&amp;quot;S&amp;quot;). The first S-01 prototype aircraft made its first flight on December 30, 1947, and, after working on the test results, was launched into full-scale production in 1948 under the designation MiG-15. The cannons were mounted in the forward fuselage on a lowerable carriage. 2 x 50 or 100 kg bombs could be suspended under the wings. To increase its flight range, the aircraft could carry two external fuel tanks with a capacity ranging from 250 to 600 litres.&lt;br /&gt;

The MiG-15 fighter was notable for its simple and reliable structure, high flight and operating characteristics, and powerful armament. The MiG-15bis is an improved and definitive MiG-15 version, the main difference is the improved engine, the Klimov VK-1. Its level speed at sea level was increased by 26 km/h to 1,076 km/h, but it is still lower than many other jets like for example the F-86 series. &lt;br /&gt;
The other noticeable change is a huge improvement of thrust-to-weight ratio which increased the acceleration by ~10% and it also has a huge impact on its climb rate, it can reach up to 50 m/s at low altitude with full fuel tanks, making the MiG-15bis one of the best climbing planes compared to other planes at similar battle rating.&lt;br /&gt;
Like the previous version, it can not fly at max power for too long or it will start overheating. While decreasing the power to 95% or lower will cool it down for a moment, if you increase it back to 100% it will immediately start overheating again.&lt;br /&gt;

The manoeuvrability compared to the previous variant is basically the same, while this version is slightly worse at performing horizontal manoeuvres due to increased weight (by ~100 kg), it is now better at performing vertical loop and other similar manoeuvres because of the better engine. It struggles against other jets due to its overall poor handling characteristics (poor rudder authority at all speeds, poor roll rate at all speeds).&lt;br /&gt;
At high speed, it does not suffer as much from compressibility but it is still at best mediocre. The elevator and rudder controls remained the same, so the plane still locks up a lot after reaching transonic speeds. Other features stayed the same: airbrakes help with slowing the plane down when it locks up too much and flaps help significantly increase dogfighting capability at low and medium speeds.&lt;br /&gt;

When flying with simulator controls, it is very pleasant to fly: trimming is almost not required when the plane travels at high speed, insufficient roll rate can be improved by using the rudder, but that can also make it slow down. The plane can be stalled out even at high speed, and when above it's critical Angle of Attack it severely wing-stalls, throwing off your aim and/or your heading. Be very carefull to not pull too much from the stick as to not reach this state, remember that it is one of the best rate-fighter of it's tier, so it's best to pull a bit less to keep your speed and not wing-stall as you'll win the position withing a few turns. It's improved roll rate makes it easier to use against the planes it faces, but it's still less than it's opposition&lt;br /&gt;

After World War II was over, the leaders of the USSR realized that they were behind the leading states of the world in the sphere of jet aircraft construction, most notably in the full-scale production of turbojet engines. The MiG-15, while being a successor of the MiG-9, uses swept wings which provide better performance at transonic speed. The other difference is the use of a single engine, the Klimov RD-45F. The plane is able to reach 1050 km/h at sea level and 994 km/h at 9000 m, it makes the plane's speed very comparable with other jets at a similar battle rating. The climb rate is very high: with full fuel tanks it reaches 42 m/s and the plane can climb from sea level up to 5000 m in slightly above 2 minutes. The acceleration is also great, thrust to weight ration when the plane is fully loaded is 0.44, which is significantly better compared to the F-86A, one of its main competitors, the plane also keeps its speed very well, especially at high speed. &lt;br /&gt;
The engine can start overheating after prolonged flying at 100% of power, but it is quite easy to cool down, although when that happens it will keep overheating after switching back to max power so when it possible it should be reduced to 95% or lower.&lt;br /&gt;

The MiG-15's weight is very low in comparison to other jet fighters from similar era, it is only ~4700 kg and along with quite good wings aerodynamics and wing loading it makes the plane very manoeuvrable at low and medium speeds and makes it a very dangerous foe to any other plane when it comes to dogfighting, the only thing that slightly drags this plane down is its high speed turn rate, which is very underwhelming. The MiG-15 locks up at lot after reaching subsonic speeds and its rolling performance, which is already very average at medium and low speeds, gets very bad at high speed. It is also equipped with an airbrake that can help a lot with slowing down and it situations to make the enemy plane overshoot.&lt;br /&gt;
Flaps while do not have very high speed limit can still make the turn fight at medium and low speed easier, as they increase turn rate by up to ~10% at a cost of increased drag.&lt;br /&gt;

This conversion alone resulted in a 60% increase in the aircraft's thrust, however, it was not enough for this jet to become supersonic even when in a dive.&lt;br /&gt;

The {{PAGENAME}} is a very good Boom &amp;amp; Zoom fighter, the only issue is confronting other jets with afterburner capabilities which make your Boom &amp;amp; Zoom attempt more difficult. The YS has a lower turn speed than the other G.91s (swapped for acceleration and a little bit more speed) it is also two high power engines, making it possible to return to base on one engine or even fight like that if you want. Sadly the G.91 isn't supersonic but it can get close in a steep dive, making it one of the best trans-sonic jets!&lt;br /&gt;

The G.91 YS has a lot of power and energy potential, keep that in mind before going into battle. To add to this fighters punch, it also utilises AIM 9B missiles and in capable hands, this fighter can be a monster on the battlefield. The YS also has the capability of mounting 76 x FFAR Mighty Mouse rockets which provide the potential of low-altitude Boom &amp;amp; Zooming on trucks, anti-aircraft artillery, light tanks and even enemy fighters attempting an airfield capture, though this does not come without a cost. When dropping in low on ground targets, the fighter sacrifices its speed and manoeuvrability for that ordnance. The YS also can outfit a few bombs so the YS can then be used as a base bomber following up by attacking enemy fighters, but even still it isn't always reliable and can be easily intercepted from any other supersonic fighter jets patrolling the area.&lt;br /&gt;

During the 1960s, Fiat began developing a successor to their previous G.91 fighter, which had thus far managed to obtain a favourable reputation with its operators. The {{PAGENAME}} is a multi-role fighter which first debuted in 1966. Based largely on earlier Fiat G.91 fighters, the G.91 YS was a complete redesign but kept the basic shape of the G.91 series. The biggest difference between the two types was the conversion from a single-engine to two General Electric J85 turbojets outfitted with afterburners. This conversion alone resulted in a 60% increase in the aircraft's thrust, however, it was not enough for this jet to become supersonic even when in a dive.&lt;br /&gt;

In similar fashion to the earlier French fighter, the [[Super Mystere B2]], the {{PAGENAME}} was outfitted with dual 30 mm DEFA autocannons in the cheeks of the forward fuselage.  Also in the same vein, the {{PAGENAME}} was built to be a multi-role fighter as a fighter-interceptor or a fighter-bomber. Due to the increased power of the dual engines, this fighter when acting in a bomber role has the ability to carry up to 4,000 lbs of bombs, though configurations as low as 1,000 lbs is available. FFAR Mighty Mouse unguided rockets are another good option for taking out softer ground targets in which the larger 500 – 1,000 lb bombs would otherwise be overkill.&lt;br /&gt;

The {{PAGENAME}} while lacking in the supersonic flight department is a feisty little fellow which can still hold its own in an air-to-air combat role. The dual autocannons can make quick work of any head-on attacks provided the pilot gets out of the way of incoming bullets in return. AIM-9B Sidewinder missiles prove themselves very effective especially against slower targets such as bombers and helicopters but are a bit more difficult to achieve success against other fighters due to their ability to pull high-G manoeuvres and break the missile lock and avoid them.&lt;br /&gt;

The {{PAGENAME}} is a very good Boom &amp;amp; Zoom fighter, the only issue is confronting other jets with afterburner capabilities which make your Boom &amp;amp; Zoom attempt more difficult. The YS has a lower turn speed than the other G.91s (swapped for acceleration and a little bit more speed) it is also two high power engines, making it possible to return to base on one engine or even fight like that if you want. Sadly the G.91 isn't supersonic but it can get close in a steep dive, making it one of the best trans-sonic jets!&lt;br /&gt;

The G.91 YS has a lot of power and energy potential, keep that in mind before going into battle. To add to this fighters punch, it also utilises AIM 9B missiles and in capable hands, this fighter can be a monster on the battlefield. The YS also has the capability of mounting 76 x FFAR Mighty Mouse rockets which provide the potential of low-altitude Boom &amp;amp; Zooming on trucks, anti-aircraft artillery, light tanks and even enemy fighters attempting an airfield capture, though this does not come without a cost. When dropping in low on ground targets, the fighter sacrifices its speed and manoeuvrability for that ordnance. The YS also can outfit a few bombs so the YS can then be used as a base bomber following up by attacking enemy fighters, but even still it isn't always reliable and can be easily intercepted from any other supersonic fighter jets patrolling the area.&lt;br /&gt;

Your biggest threats will be F-4Cs, MiG-19S/PT, F-100D, Mitsubishi T2, J-6A, J-7II, Hunter F.6, mainly because they have superior speed and ordnance. During the 1960s, Fiat began developing a successor to their previous G.91 fighter, which had thus far managed to obtain a favourable reputation with its operators. Fiat based their new aircraft heavily on the two-seat trainer version of the G.91 and decided outfit the aircraft with two General Electric J85 afterburning engines contrary to the preceding single-engine G.91.&lt;br /&gt;
